hi I have a talon 2 got it last year, how easy was it to upgrade from thr 2x8 to the 1x11 group set, and does the 11 speed fit on the hub with no problems
For a first timer u will need to do ur research on how to take the cranks and chain ring off etc… It’s a 11-46 8 speed cassette that I purchased not a 11 speed. As a first timer myself it was a hell of a job putting it together 😅
Wish I could tell you but I honestly have no idea as I’ve never ridin a orbea. Sorry bro. Even though this my bike is an xc bike it’s does well on the trails with the mods I’ve added ✌🏽
I practically changed the whole lot. As I was on a budget, most of it was purchased through AliExpress. But I'm gonna get the whole group set change when I can financially can lol to a more quality groupset. Went for 1x so I got an oval chain ring, cranks, 8 speed 11-46 cassette.

@@edmtbtv5387 already and the crank off, and the bb, changed them from square taper to hollowtech 2, just thought you'd gone to a 11 speed
@@andrewullah1298 the cassette looks like an 11 speed but I will change to a deore group set at some point. How successful are with the set up?

I have the same bike and I can’t bunny hop because the bike is to heavy or can I just not bunny hop because im still 10

Which part? Brake callipers or brake lever?
@@edmtbtv5387 uhh not sure. When I got my giant talon 2, the bike’s brakes for both front and back is not very strong.
@@SpoonLegend probably your brakes haven’t broken in yet. Take it down some trails your comfortable with and brake them brakes in!

Original fork is fine but I need more travel for the trails! 🙌🏽 I have a small frame and came with a stock 80mm travel fork
