Mac and Cheese is one of those dishes that is deceptively hard. Sounds easy in theory, but with so many ways to make it, and everybody's preference different, very hard to make in bulk.
That looked like it'd just been sitting under heat for a lil while too long and the cheese went from melted to separated

So prepare it and dont bulk make it :)

Sweet potato pie all day. My grandma Smith made hers with a little bit of lemon juice and it was awesome ❤️❤️ never used a recipe so we all really miss it ❤️❤️❤️

Would you ever do a Pub best/worst review? There's a nice little pub in Wallingford that is about a year old. They have a buffalo dip that is so addicting. I am not a fan of potato salad but I love this places. It's called New England Hops.

Collard Greens 4.5 out of 5. Mac & Cheese 3 out of 5. Koolade 5.0. BBQ Ribs?.. a variable 2.5-3.5. Potato salad 5.0. Corn Bread?.. Five (5) in the Zip Lock. Overall rating?..a solid Three (3). Daym rocks. He is The Man.

That's the restaurant business. You wanna provide containers for take out. My thing is, if the customer is going to dine in my dining room, I'm going to serve them their food on plates with silverware. Their beverages will be served in a glass. That'll cut back on using too many plastic containers.

Back in 85 my neighbor had his own pillow at my house because of that Jerry curl juice. It was a pillow with donkey Kong on the front, he used that pillow until 91. It was greasy bro. He quit with the juice around 1990 but I made him use it any way, he was well moisturized when he went home

The thing about pumpkin pie is that it's hard to get wrong. It's very forgiving. Yet, somehow, some people do get it wrong, like carrot cake, throwing nuts and raisins and $#17 in there. But other than screwing up the texture with $#!7, it's hard to make a bad pumpkin pie. You'd have to try r e a l l y hard to do it. Sweet potato pie on the other hand, ooooh, when it's bad, it's BAD. But when it's given love, done right, sooooooo good. So given a choice between sweet potato or pumpkin pie, it all depends on how well you know who is making it. If you have no trust, pumpkin. If you love them and they love you, sweet potato all day long.

I thought the mac & cheese from the last video looked good but this one looked even better! YUM! The ribs and greens looked amazing too! As far as sweet potato vs pumpkin pie, I like both but I prefer pumpkin for holidays like Thanksgiving and sweet potato on non holidays usually.

I make the pork chops cooked long in the gravy sometimes. Did it last week. Love that. I've made collards, which I liked. But I need to try them prepared by a soul food cook to see what the product is supposed to be. All the recipes say you have to cook them for hours, and I just don't think that's necessary. My mac & cheese game is OK. My fried chicken is OK. Got a story, though. I'm Gen X, born in 1969. And when I was young there was a presence of black culture in mainstream media. Good Times, Red Foxx, Car Wash, Earth Wind & Fire, just disco in general. And Some of the 70's I was living in New York. So I had heard of soul food, though I did not know what the term meant. And my parents did not bring us kids to church, so I had no idea what the theological concept of a soul was. It was just something inside you. Conflating the two concepts, I thought the soul was an organ, like your liver, or something.

Alright but my Soul Food place is Craig's Kitchen in Rockville, CT. Craig Wright is the man. Not only can he whip up the best food he has been on NBC, WFSB and FOX61 for his contributions to the community. He puts on a huge free Thanksgiving Meal every year for the community since opening and hands out free Easter baskets to all the kids in the Community. He is a black owned business and proud. Made the news for that as well after he got some clap back for his sign in the window. You need to go see Craig in the Rockville Green he is going to make it worth your trip. I am not lying!! The community loves him and his food. 5 stars! I drive 30 minutes. Always donate to his community causes. Ask him his back story while your there. Going to blow your mind!!
