Thank you for sharing. I love and hate Dave Ramsey. I am in the car business and he hammers on not buying cars boats etc. Glad to know I fit in his range of 50 percent on my trucks and boat not exceeding 50 percent. I have never seen his vids on that , only the ones that criticize and hammer me for thinking of buying a boat. He comes off as pretty arrogant about how I choose to spend my money. Again, at the core I believe in his basic teaching. Thankful to know that he does allow a range to spend on hobbies and that he is a boater, just like his company leases cars which he teaches against. This will give me a new perspective on him for sure. Only vids I saw were him calling me a moron for buying a boat. I will look for ones for the full picture of his approach. I am sure if I met him in person he is a good dude. Me and a few thousand car business people would love a live forum to discuss car buying though lol . Dave is solid but not God for sure. I think 80 percent of his stuff is great to be fair. Would love to know the whole story and if he paid back the creditors that he filed bankruptcy on those couple times. If he did,,, then he has total credibility.

We got a 1986 Chris craft cuddy cabin, I worked up to it by fixing another project boat and sold that for profit in order to fund the Chris craft, I don’t think Dave Ramsey accounts for people being able to maintain, or fix their own things, if he does then I’m wrong, but there’s NOTHING wrong with second hand items haha
