Love how your house is coming out. Regarding the chairs: I think 1 is fine in your room with a small table. And 1 downstairs with the couch someone can sit on the chair rather than the couch if you have a lot of people over

Tara, your mom’s challah looked beautiful! We both grew up with Jewish moms…only my mom could not cook. She once messed up making pasta, that’s how bad it is. I wonder if you and Marcy would ever consider doing a like subset of videos with cooking classes and pantry stables to help girls that didn’t grow up cooking get better at simple things. Your family has a fun dynamic so I know it would be so entertaining. Just a thought…but until then I’ll continue to enjoy the videos!

When I got my very large very heavy NordicTrack delivered, it wouldn’t fit through our front door so we opened the box in front yard and took it in in pieces. It worked out very well! I would hate to see you ruin walls in your new home!

Tip: when you have chill movie night, find or get custom cushion covers for your couch so you can fully enjoy your couch with snacks and when you have guests over. Easy clean up.

The chairs aren’t really too big. They could work, but they would look Amazing in the office. Maybe a softer shape for the bedroom and do you want two?
So excited for you! Couple of suggestions. Call a professional to scotch guard your couch. A good carpet cleaning service offers that and they'll warranty it. Maybe try a chaise lounge in your room? That window is perfect for one and yeah, chairs perfect for office. That's my meddlesome two cents and you can throw back the change😊. The furniture is great!

Love, love, love the sofa! If the cover is washable, a solution of equal parts blue dawn dish soap, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide will get any stain out. White slipcovered sofas are the best because you can get every stain out (10 years and going with mine)

Those chairs are so cozy looking! IMO they’re more suited for an office vibe. You could do a bay window seat, with a ton of cushions - would be a great place to sit on a cold winter morning as you look out the window, AND if you can add storage at the bottom of the seat, it becomes functional too!

As a cook myself, I just want to say the best feeling is cooking for others. We don’t like to cook for ourselves 😂 so my advice to you schedule a day each week to go enjoy your moms dinner! Trust me it will mean more than you know! :)

LOL my ex boyfriend and I used to make trips to RH just to sit on this couch for hours. The sales people probably hated us! It is also my dream couch, except I couldn't have it in white. I would need a raincloud couch or something in like a dark grey because I'm MESSY.

I can’t imagine how your parents feel. In a few years my husband and I will be empty nesters and not looking forward to my two leaving our home. They are homebody kids so we always have them here and want them to leave once in a while but know it will hurt when it is official. Love the new furniture btw!! Very nice! Maybe I can have all white couch and chairs when we become empty nesters lol.
Ok from a barista here to help you get the best cup of coffee 😂 when you’re brewing your pod, put it in a cup with nothing in it, not even ice. The density of the milk vs ice vs espresso is all so different and it completely changes the flavor and texture of your coffee if you mix them incorrectly. So it should always go in the order of espresso first, then flavoring/syrups, milk, then ice. Obviously you can make your coffee however you please haha but this is the rule when coffee is made in a shop! Thought I would share ❤️

Have you considered just one chair + ottoman or chair + small side table for the bedroom? Might be better proportionally in that space, and very functional for what you want to use it for! Also so comfy if you had an ottoman to put your feet up. Definitely agree that the two should go in the office!

I think those chairs would be perfect office chairs! I think something smaller for the bedroom would suit it better, then it there could be room for a table in the middle of them if you wanted.
I think the chairs are great, it’s the curtains that are adding bulk. Once they’re tailored I think it would look better. If possible push them a little farther apart so they don’t crowd them space

Giiiirl if you only knew the saga of events that had to happen for me to get my treadmill into my new house! Seeing you go through it too, I was traumatized all over again😂 and the chairs are the perfect size for that space! They fill the space so nicely and anything smaller would be awkward IMO. Theres perfect space for a little table in between too!

I bought a white couch, then got a set of pale gray fuzzy soft slipcovers for winter. For summer I have pale gray and white wide striped slipcovers. A white couch gives you the best base.

Nespresso recipe: white chocolate syrup in the coffee, vanilla custard or bianco forte pod is my personal fave then add some of the milk and mix, then add vanilla syrup in the foam on top

I agree the chairs are too big, definitely chairs for the office. I think you should have one big chair in ya nook in your bedroom; like a wing back chair with a foot stool and a little table for morning coffee and bedtime tea plus book 📕. Really coming together now!! ❤️🤩
I think once you have your curtains hemmed it will make the window area more clean cut and then the chairs would fit right in, to balance it out have a very thin black framed tall table in-between the chairs and it would look incredible xx
