Chaudro bonne question à vrai dire il n’y a pas de guitare designed pour la rumba congolaise et le Sebene du coup je pense que les solistes se tournent vers des guitares qui ont du caractère de par leur design (tu connais l’extravagance des frères congolais 🤷🏾♂️), un son puissant suffisamment présent et clair à la fois ☝🏾.. Et ça ce sont des caractéristiques assez fréquentes dans les guitares de métal hard rock 🤔
Thilo I agree it seems surprising but if you live in Africa for any amount of time you’ll see things being repurposed in unexpected ways. It wouldn’t surprise me if Isaac just tried it out and the action was good for all the up the neck stuff and it stays in tune. Can’t argue with the lovely sound he gets out of it! Kirk would probably be tickled that someone on another continent is putting his creation to such good use. Or not, I don’t know Kirk. 😄

I love studying African/Indain/Middle Eastern Music but resources can be hard to come by. Explaining the polyrhythms that form between instruments would be especially helpful.

hottamanful you welcome fam' thank you for your support. My guitar is an LTD but I have changed the picks for two Phat Cat P90 which give a clearer and sharper sound. And I use a Boss Delay as an effect too. Hope that helps you 😉
