  • There are only two places in the world where Joshua trees grow. Higher temperatures due to climate change is causing them to die at an increased rate. Scientists worry if something isn’t done soon to reverse the problem, the Joshua Trees are headed for extinction.

    • @cheshirecat6970
      @cheshirecat6970 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      King Kwon actually trees breath both oxygen,& CO2
      Thing is plants 🌱 breath,& produce oxygen as long as they’re growing but once they fully mature,& stop growth they stop producing oxygen,& only breath in,& hold carbon dioxide , then at night release some of it, but once the plant dies all the CO2 it hold it’ll let go

      I have an answer! Its called theres an invasive beetle from Asia eating the way through the cambrian which blocks the nutrients to the leaves!
      The cambrian is the thin layer of the tree the feeds the trees its water and nutrients. Once that is blocked off the tree is done. Same thing is happening here in the north east where the ash trees are all dying!

    So the predictability of weather with tectonic movement and jet stream patterns is very low long term and the science hasn't been around long enough to actually establish the theory this video states. There are other and better theories especially in the realm of viewing the world thru geology and geography that make more sense.
    Certainly not settled science.
