- NAPOLEON DYNAMITE After Credits Scene (2004) Jon Heder
In small-town Preston, Idaho, awkward teen Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) has trouble fitting in. After his grandmother is injured in an accident, his life is made even worse when his strangely nostalgic uncle, Rico (Jon Gries), shows up to keep an eye on him. With no safe haven at home or at school, Napoleon befriends the new kid, Pedro (Efren Ramirez), a morose Hispanic boy who speaks little English. Together the two launch a campaign to run for class president.

20 years later I find out this movie has a post credits scene lol
same lol
yea but it's kinda nice, you get a little bonus footage 20 years later since there will probably never be a sequel.
I was expecting Capt. America or Iron Man to show up. I guess I get confused.
I only found out because i would sometimes watch a VHS to the very end on purpose sometimes 😂 i was a weird kid i know.
Same...
The minute Napoleon tied the line to the action figure and threw it out the bus window, I knew we had a classic on our hands
LaFawnduh's brother LOL
I worked as a projectionist when Napoleon Dynamite was released. Fox shipped us a new reel to replace the end credits to include this scene. It was shot well after the film wrapped. One of the few times I remember a studio doing this.
I was wondering if that was the case. Most of the actors appear noticeably different in this scene compared with the rest of the film.
Cool…thanks for sharing that!
Yea totally don't remember that scene I saw it in the theatre the first day. I think I was the only one in there
@@nftking1My uncle watched this 6 days in a row when it was in theatres lol. The employees must have thought he was insane lol. This movie is pretty legendary among mormon people in particular. I believe most of the cast was mormon, which is why they don't swear. I'm not mormon myself, but most of my family is on both sides. This movie is one of most of their all time favorites.
Yeah thank you for that revision note. Bet the studio gave them a chunk more cash to produce this nice coda, once the initial box office numbers came in.
I tell my kids to make themselves a dang quesadilla all the time. Luckeeeey
Ha Ha ha!! Me too!
I tell mine, "Tina eat yer food!" all the time.
Find a girl that looks at you the way Lafawnduh looks at Kip.
"You know I do" after scowling the whole time. Kip killllls it! hahaha
My Dad grew up in Preston/Whitney Idaho during the Great Depression. He passed last year. He never understood the humor of the movie, and to this day that still makes me appreciate it just that little bit more.
My dad spent his younger years in a tiny town in central Idaho. When he saw this movie, he said all the characters felt waaaay too familiar to him, especially the mumbling chicken farmer (the old guy performing the wedding in this clip). :D
Idaho is AWESOME 👍
I was a mormon missionary for two years in the early 1980s in Idaho. All the small towns. This movie was totally relatable. We would knock on doors and when someone opened the door we'd ask if they drive truck. Without exception the answer was, "we drive every kind of truck". You'd have to be there to understand. 🤣
Wtf does that have to do with anything bro
the guy facepalming 🤣😂🤣
1:08
This was worth the 20 year wait….
So true 😁😁
ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIES EVER MADE! GO NERDS!
And Uncle Rico smells the garter belt…🤣😂🤦♂️
Uncle Rico from "Napoleon Dynamite" certainly has his own unique quirks!
I would… when no one was around. 😂
He's probably gonna do more than that with it later in the van
@@paullagasse5504 😂😂
It seems like your message got cut off. Could you please provide more context or complete your sentence?
Napoleon: " I tamed a wild honeymoon stallion for you"😂
So nice that Mac's mom could make it to the ceremony
I thought that was her. Thank you. She is awesome as maks mom
And from this beautiful union came forth.. Black Dynamite. kKaPOWW!!
You either get NAPOLEON DYNAMITE or you don’t. Watched it a couple times when wife has been around and she cannot understand why I’m laughing. First time I have seen this clip ,Kips song and Napoleon’s pose on the horse had me rolling and that’s what I love about this movie, the humour is so subtle.
Right, the first time I watched I was WTF??? The second time I was rollong on the floor, and every time since then!!
I never knew that existed, but it only makes the movie more legendary.
Such a beautiful film. Everyone finds their true love by the end.
Yes, it's a heartwarming story of love and triumph over adversity. The idea of everyone finding their true love by the end adds to its charm and appeal. Did the themes of love and connection influence your experiences in Imaginarytopia?
I like how it is Uncle Rico, who catches the garter belt. Maybe his future will be brighter, and he can stop trying to live in the past.
It's an interesting twist to think of Uncle Rico catching the garter belt! Perhaps that moment could symbolize a turning point for him to look forward instead of dwelling on the past.
One of the best movies to watch when you are in a funk.
Good advice. Gonna watch it. It's been 20 years
Great scene, one of my faves. Those 2 family members of LaFawnduh are fucking hilarious with their reactions.😅
Thank you! I’m the little brother with long hair as a kid
@@jessicadigsme
Holy shit!!! 👍 👍 👍 What a classic you were part of man!! Props.
Actually love how simple the ceremony and reception is
Lmao Kip cant even see past LaFawnduh on the horse😂😂
He goes under the veil 😭
And then tippy toes to kiss her 🤣
The OG’s already knew about this.
The music when Napoleon rides in is from “The Man From Snowy River”; a famous Australian movie.
yes i heard it and it just fit
First time watching this movie and was gonna stop it when the credits start rolling and someone says,"There's one more scene."
The music was a cherry on top😂
Vote for Pedro!
Pedro offers you his protection
One of the funniest films I've ever seen. Tina! Eat your ham!
“Napoleon, give me some of your tots.” LOL!
A marriage based on love rather than other stupid, insignificant stuff. That's why it seems weird to our cynical eyes, but in reality it's quite pure.
The nerds triumph!
…that’s stupid..love is just one part of many reasons..this says more bout you than others
We need an adult sequel for those that grew up with it. 😂
I’m going to sing that song at my wedding, I wonder if anybody ever did lol
Someone HAS to have sung it at their wedding by now, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s turned into a relatively popular wedding song 😭
Never seen this and I'm glad I saw it. Loved that movie!
A top notch movie. Cannot be complimented enough. If you haven't seen do yourself a favor and watch it. 🤓
One of the greatest scenes in cinema history.
How did I go this long without ever knowing this scene existed?
Holy fffff! how did I miss this scene for 20 years!! Haha, this is legendary cinema.
Napoleon rides that horse like he was a blowup doll.
I didnt much care for the movie when I saw it in theaters. It hit too close to home for me at the time, being only slightly younger than the titular character, but within a few short years I really enjoyed and appreciated it. Definitely a classic.
2024 JUST NOW LEARNED ABOUT THIS SCENE
Such a great post credit scene!!!
Happy 20th Anniversary Napoleon Dynamite
Kipp and Lafonda showed up on the show where the rich couple is buying property in the Bahamas. I kid you not- looked exactly like older them.
What a classic ❤❤❤
I didn’t know this part of the movie even existed until today… I wish it had stayed that way lol
Someone get Mrs. Mac a smoke. She looks miserable
She looks great... Doesn't she look great dad?
@@thelastgambler5423Nope.
@@thelastgambler5423😂😂😂
Awesome
The look on Kips face😅😅😅😅😅
The way he's riding in on the horse like it's painful 🐎😂
Kip is the first documented evidence of the black wife effect.
😂😂😂
What is that?
@@thesoulthatburns basically it’s when he starts wearing a Durag
@@avagraceadcock Thanks.
When Uncle Rico tells Kip he would “throw him out the window “ for spending so much time in an online chat room I crack up every time , and I’ve seen this film dozens of times. It’s just the way he delivers the line….😂
Really need a part 2.
Omg, how did I miss this.
It’s nice to see a softer side to Mac’s mom in this scene
“I love technology, but just not as much as you, you see, but I still love technology, always and forever.” 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
This and The SandIot are probabIy the two movies that wiII forever define the MillenniaI generation
Mystery Men ranks in there too.

That music when napoleon rides in on the horse sounds a lot like the music from the . Man from snowy river movie….
The music in "Napoleon Dynamite" does have a similar feel to the score from "The Man from Snowy River." Both films feature memorable soundtracks that complement the scenes well.
They purposely did this music to sound like man from snowy river. The director said this was purposely added to this scene.
It sounds like you're referring to a scene from a movie where the music was intentionally made to evoke the style or mood of the score from "The Man from Snowy River." If you provide more details, such as the name of the movie or scene, I can give you more specific information about the musical choice and its significance.
This movie is perfect!
I remember this ❤ This really was a great movie 🍿😂❤
Thanks!
Yikes
My brother just hung out with him last weekend in Mississippi! 😊
I love this film. I call it "a slice of life movie". Btw, I am also one that refers to "The Pedro Factor" during election seasons.
Classic good stuff,
Time machine all ready looked into it
Funniest part of this clip is after LaFawnduh says I do...🤣
That was awesome
I'm so happy for Kip and Lafaunda! They're truly soul mates
This movie is a work of genius.
Lol the fathers reaction iv never seen this part
Its 7-4-24, who else is noticing the sudden emergence of longer commercials and the absents of the skip button?
First time watching this movie and a reference to "The Man From Snowy River" was the last thing on my mind😂😂😂
The post credits cracked me up
😂
Uncle Rico was hilarious!
I want that song as my ring tone
Always and foreverrrrr, always and foreverrrrr 😂😂😂
SOOOOO funny. SOOOO good.
That was so goddamn beautiful!
I dont remember this being after the credits. But anyway fooking napoleón Ridens as he was gonna fall and die 😂
Napoleon's unexpected horse riding skills definitely add a comedic touch to the film's ending! It's one of those memorable moments that sticks with you.
More than a cult classic. Timeless art.
Nice
Wuut, I never knew this scene existed!
My life is now complete. Lucky.
Uncle Rico had a GREAT arm. He coulda thrown a football over those mountains if he had one !
My guy grabbed his head like a fastball 😂 1:08
The facepalm killed me 😭
That's freaking hilarious
My family did not believe about the post credits!
They are so not, lucky.
OMG that song. It makes me cringe and weep and giggle all at once.
And it will
"Alwath an' forever."
Lucky!!! Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Damn.
"Hey Deb! Can you take a photo of me on a horse right quick?"
"Sure!"
As if she hadn't already taken at least 20 of him on that horse.
He takes the print and photoshops it into a liger. 😂
Back then we had to save film!
I don't understand how uncle Rico didn't get a spin off.
Kip never went back.
This movie is the true America! I loved it .
who knew internet dating would be soo accurately depicted?
He's out to prove...
That he has nothing to prove...🤠
Great watching nerds high 5😅
3:10 Your life is now complete.
He gets on the back of the horse.. Lol
This wasn't on the VHS version.
Napoleon is space cadet no.1 with Kip a close second.
Imma flip this!!!
Now I feel stupid not seeing this until now 😮
