My step dad was a 40 year old mexican who barely spoke english when he watched this movie. He never laughed, just sat and watched. It's still his favorite movie to this day.
The actress for Lafawnduh is on point about what this movie was. It had no sex, little to no cursing, no drugs, no drinking, and no bad messages. It's one of those movies that anyone of any age can get a bunch of belly laughs out of and enjoy.
Actually, there's one brief curse word that Kip says when he has Rico are making plans for their project. He says that grandma gets pissed at him because she's paying the phone bill per minutes because he's on the phone for so long during his chat room sessions.
@@MovieLover1995 I wouldn’t classify that as a curse word and neither would they. Quite literally, their mission was to write a screen play with no sex or swearing.
One of the best surprises of the film was finding out the Lawfundah (sp) was completely genuine. That is one of the great things about the movie. You didn't know what was going to happen, it was totally original.
Did anyone notice in this footage that napoleons hair is darker it was a light brown in the original movie but in the interview it was dark brown I wonder why
I like how Jon Heder rides that galloping horse with all of the straight-backed, non-upright grace of a rigid mannequin that's been epoxied to the saddle 🤣
Find the behind the scenes video that has the actress who played LaFawnduh. Her family was on set for the filming and were extras and could not believe the utter nonsense this movie was. I liked the movie, her family had a very different opinion....
@@daniellove162 id love it if it was a straight opposite, like Kip can't find work so he starts slingin dope and it just gets more f%cked up as the movie goes on.

I really like that little anecdote!
I love this so much
That is a surprisingly good anecdote. Did you ever ask why?
Haha that’s literally my grandma a little Mexican lady who speaks no English but loves Meet The Fockers
That’s pretty neat to hear, just how he simply enjoys it :)

I wish I had Lafawnduh's style and attitude, Deb's talent and personality, Summer's confidence, and Grandma's stamina. Beautiful female role models!
You forgot about Tina. 😢
It's weird seeing the actors speak like normal people lol

Fun movie with great characters and memorable scenes. LaFawnduh is so beautiful.

it was a peculiar line lol
It will never win awards or be critically acclaimed but this is a brilliant brilliant movie

When you realize they aren't acting but simply being themselves. Such a characteristic that even the best actors cannot portray.
I guess the characters and the essence of the film spoke to them and brought something real in them.

Could they make a sequel where Napoleon is married to Deb and their child is the leading actor?
As far as “relating” to any of the characters is concerned, I don’t relate to any of them. I just loved them all.

Wish they'd hurry up and make a sequel
Jared Hess was planning on doing a sequel at one point, but they cancelled it due to financial issues of some of the filming locations.
They made one cartoon season with 6 episodes, which I enjoyed mainly because all the characters have the original voices.
