    WE ARE BACKKKKKK! Yes, another Utah Ski Road Trip has just started! Today, I drove the 8 hours from Denver, Colorado and found myself up Big Cottonwood Canyon at Solitude Ski Resort. This is my first time ever getting the chance to ride at Solitude and it would definitely leave me wanting more by the end of the day.
    Hope you all enjoy the content and are having an amazing winter!

      Always love to hear from you, Zach! I also used your advice for snowbird. We were out there the other day and didn't get on Wilbur Bowl, but we did the traverse from the top and dropped into the cirque. Thanks for the heads up because that run alone gave me chest deep pow shots!

    Looks like the road were clear for your drive over to Utah. It can get sketchy in the winter months. Looks like a great day of hitting the slopes!

      Thank goodness! It took me almost 9 hrs just to drove from Salt Lake to steamboat a few weeks ago. Those roads can be sketchy but you're right. Hope you are having an awesome week, Chad!

    We only have 11,000 foot peaks, not 14,000. This year Brighton is requiring reservations for part of the road Friday through Sunday.

    If it didn’t take 3 chairs to lap honeycomb, it would be a tough choice between soli and Brighton. But Brighton got better trees, terrain park and one of the top 3 lifts in the US with milly. Solitude is still fun, in addition to honeycomb, going mach3 off of the eagle x.

      Gary, I couldn't agree with you more. Either way, Utah is one of the best places in the world to ride. I can't wait to head back out there later this season. Happy Thanksgiving!

    My toxic trait is thinking that with my little bit of east coast skiing i could do this super comfortably

    Really like your videos of the Utah ski resorts. Do you think you could add what run you are doing (and which lift) so people know generally what each run is like?

    • @CoryGrasser
      @CoryGrasser  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, Steven! Really appreciate you enjoying the videos and letting me know what can be better in the future. I am going to try and incorporate this, but the way I show videos, it's hard to be exact on what run each clip is on. If I can at least give a chair lift to give you a better idea of where to find the run, then I'll be sure to do that going forward! Cheers!

    Cory, good video. What's the name of the first run, the "warm-up lap"? Was that a blue or black? Thx

    • @CoryGrasser
      @CoryGrasser  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Appreciate you saying that! First run was off of the Powderhorn lift into milk run and cirque! Hope this helps you out!

      @@CoryGrasser Thank you. Were these blue runs or black diamond runs? By the way you are very good at this -- to hold that camera while running down these slopes is not easy.

    • @CoryGrasser
      @CoryGrasser  ปีที่แล้ว

      @denton1972 ha, I try! Appreciate ya! These were black and double black runs. We started up on a blue I believe but that changed pretty quickly when we went right into the black and double blacks.
