Let's start off with the Douugh and see what features they have to offer. So right off the bat you're going to have your standard features that we've kind of come to expect meaning no minimum balance requirements no monthly service fees or overdraft fees and you're going to be fully FDIC insured plus you have access to the moneypass network of ATMs meaning you can withdraw money for free on that pretty widespread network. This platform boils down to two main features which are the spending management, and the jars. So the spending management feature is largely going to take on a budgeting role and ensure that you are utilizing an effective budget that allows you to reach your other financial goals as quickly as possible while still living a comfortable life which I think we can all agree is important regardless of what platform you are using. As far as those jars are concerned, these are basically going to be your various budgeting categories. One last thing I do want to mention that a lot of you pointed out in the comments on the full review on Douugh is that at least for the time being, it doesn't appear that Douugh is available on Android so obviously if you are an Android user then that's something to keep in mind.
So moving on from there we've got Envel which we just looked at last week so again there is a full review if you want more in-depth information but Envel is going to work in a very similar way in the sense that it's going to automatically take your paycheck and break it up into this various categories But in this case, instead of Jars, they're going to be envelopes or digital envelopes. I know what you're thinking, aren't these basically the exact same thing and as I said at the beginning of the video, yes they are very very similar and I'm not going to sit here and try to deny that. When you first open your account you're going to be given four envelopes which are cash, emergency, bills, and your vaults which is your savings and from there you can create up to 99 envelopes for literally whatever you want and each of these is essentially going to be its own FDIC insured bank account. Similar to the automated feature that Douugh offers, Envel has a similar tool called there AI autopilot that is going to work in basically the same way and will take your paycheck and then divide it up across all of these different envelopes based on how much money you want to contribute to each of them. And finally when it comes to Envel like I said you're going to be fully FDIC insured, you have access to 32,000 free to use ATMs across the US, and all of those core services that we talked about today like the envelopes, autopilots, and the Envel debit card are all going to be completely free.

From personal experience, One Finance was awful. I couldn’t get their card to work online, it kept saying the card information was incorrect

Hi, great content!! Just quick question: when you use your envel debit card, what envelope is the purchase debited from?
Thanks for the great question! You can select which envelope you want a debut purchase to come out of so if you buy groceries you have to select the groceries envelope. Hope this helps.

Neither Due The Lack Of Cash Deposits In Stores Opinion...But If I Had To Choose One~Id Choose Douugh Cause Envel Seem Complicated & Confusing Ironically Much Like Simple Was...
Envel because I question any company who would ignore half their potential customers because they don't use iphones. I'm coming from Simple liked what I saw so much at Envel I invested in the crowdfunding campaign.

@@jacobadams8113 Envel has the potential to be as good as Simple or better. They understand what made Simple great and they are working to add features with each app update. They've been great about listening to Simple refugees and prioritizing a wishlist.
