Man, I love your videos. I used to be the Pres of the now defunct So Cal VCOA chapter. I've owned 5 bricks over the years including an 82 242 ti. You are doing the hobby proud.
Not a lot of channels that make working a car this fun and engaging. M539 and you are just top notch for people who love cars. I do not own neither Volvo or BMW but I sit through every video like I will start working on one tomorrow. Love your content, and can't wait for a new video!
I’m super new to this honestly! Just started really messing with cars 3 years ago and haven’t spent a ton of time until this last year when I started making videos. One step at a time and you can learn quicker than you might think :)
absolutely highlight of my week whenever these videos come out! good to see someone making some amazing quality content on these cars that is consistently coming out! keep it up man i love the build so far!
Greetings from Lithuania! Nice to see, that there are Volvo fans outside Europe as well. Waiting for the new exhaust sound. Mine 850 T5 also waits for japanifold swap.
this series has quickly become my favorite one on youtube. absolutely love the vibe and seeing the V70R get progressively cooler every week is really interesting. historically I'm not a car guy by any stretch of the imagination, but these videos have me thinking of what I can customize on my trusty (lol) '12 Tiguan :)
The amount of subscribers you have is a high way robbery man, you should hit the millions already. Your videos are not only inspiring but are calm amd collected. The production is top notch. Keep up the great work man, im your fan from the pacific, GUAM, USA.

just bought a 2000 v70 glt turbo model, second on my list of dream volvos only after the v70r ofc, and watching your videos really gets me excited to start building mine. some day when im more financially responsible and have more volvo on hand experience under my belt ill pick up a v70r, but im already loving this glt, keep up the amazing videos man, its great to see more socal people building volvos!
love your main account brotha but you've been absolutely crushing it with the car vids lately! The views are going crazy too! Keep it up and much love from a fellow LA creative and car lover.
there are only a few car youtube channels that i really like , i like the youtube channels that make me feel like home, videos i can watch to truly relax you are defenatly one of those channels! great vibe good music good editing and just a cool dud working on his car :D , keep doing what you are doing this is awsome (good youtube channels for the people who wants to watch : juice box , nightride , benny surge ,smpl builds and more...)
This is absolutely a one content the production value and how this project has moved on since you started was completely world-class I'm excited to follow this and more!
Have been watching the main channel (photography) for a good few years now, and on a side note have loved cars all my life. Only in the hunt for V70r info did I stumble across your car channel, super cool, have wanted one of these volvos for ages and is nice to see one of my favourite TH-camrs has and works on one.
Yo brother. You are the man. I purchased my v70r Dec of 2022 and haven't dug in as much as you have. Glad to see the improvement. Will be following mos def.
Remember getting the video of you buying the car I’m my recommended months ago. Glad it’s we you back in it and getting to watch this lovely video. Very chill vibes man keep it up. From one volvo nut to the other much love
Setting myself up to buy a 2004 V70R with 77k miles on it soon, your videos have been incredibly helpful while looking at the car to look for issues (and potential future remedies). Great work, can't wait to see how she turns out for you!
From Wales i love your channel I've been a volvo and saab guy for many years. Currently working on a volvo 544 which was originally imported from California! My driver has been a Saab aero estate but rust has got the better of that so decided to look for a Volvo xc70 and that's how I found your channel, thanks for all your filming
I’ve never actually been junkyard hunting for parts but it looks super fun lol. I’m going to look for some parts for my mk4 Jetta now. Love the Volvo series man. You’re crushing it!
My man living the dream, youve goten lucky with those finds, the crashed S60 and the V70R. Keep up the good work, your videos are very entertaining. Hope to continue getting more content
For people about the exhaust manifolds. The Japanifold flows less than the R or later than japanifold exhaust manifold. The R manifold flows more, quicker boost but it doesnt give the Volvo Roar! The sound comes from the nr1 exhaust manifold runner that goes over the top of all other exhaust ports and is about 35cm long when all other are about 5-20cm long. Going from the 850 manifold to any of the newer will give better performance and having them side by side you will see the difference in port sizes + radiuses! 850 manifold is basicly 90° turns
I've been a big fan of your content since the film photography videos. ❤🔥I really liked the new videos with the Volvo. Keep up the good work! Thank you very much for taking us along on your journey. Greetings 🤙🤟Ivo
Man I love seeing your new uploads at the top of my YT, first click of the day every time. Keep up the awesome work, that V70R is going to be sweet once you've 'finished' it 👌
I’ve been watching all your videos for the pass few days, love it a lot. Huge likes for all of it . Hopefully will get more of the updates soon. Peace out ✌️
Your videos are so pleasing and relaxing and I’m learning a lot about this car with you since I’m looking into getting one soon I know what to do for “peace of mind” like you said, keep it up dude hope to see the wagon running tastefully soon I’m following
My v70r exhaust note changed for the best with a 3" downpipe, resonator and muffler. Did not drone and sounded incredible! Also be aware that the stock block if not shimmed does not like increased boost. Even at stock pressure the walls might give. Shimming my block was not a ton of fun but I never had issue when I turned up the boost.
I absolutely love your videos man! I am a big Volvo fan myself and wow I really enjoy watching you work on this beast of a car! Keep up the good work and please, never stop doing Volvo content🙏🏼
Hey dude, I just found your channel, and I really love the videos, especially this series. Late last year I picked up my own v70, and kind of like yours, it is a bit rough around the edges. watching you restore this one really inspires me to do the same on my own. I really want to know where you learn so much about these cars and how to work on them. I am new to working on cars and the euro engineering is pretty intimidating. keep it up!!
Would love to see a video of you just going through the junkyard. Talk about tips on tools to bring with you and what to look for or something. Could be a cool video!
I miss my old v70 everyday! I had to give up after my cam seals blew. One day I’ll get another one in better condition and put all the upgrades I’m learning about here!
Nice work, i just came across your channel and your content is great, now in my 60's and over 40 years of Volvo driving over a million miles and 5th brick, GT'S GLT'S of sorts/builds now just a 89 240 DL with almost 400k on it, I am looking into a 2006 V70 , a sweet unit super clean all service history and dealer maintained one owner in blue with cloth not leather and has right near 130k on it runs smooth and looking at near $5 or 6000 for it and won't need to spend a cent on it has new summer and winter tires on steelies everything been done so it is a no brainer, this is Canadian BTW and these are amazing cars in the winter even at -25-30 below always start no issues and have heat like a wood stove, they are much harder on gas than my 240's except my 242 GLT Turbo that was built by a local Volvo tech of 40 yrs it was near 254 BHP back in the 90's , yes lost my license twice from the smiles per mile car ,I loved it , in the end sold it to guy about your age and then he lost his license trying to out run the police, you can't out run police radios, i know i tried 😂 , I have to say being old school that the comfort level of the V70 is light years better than a 240, it'll be my daily and on the road hopefully by the end of March , i am just working on a Golf MK 4 project right now , it's certainly not a Volvo, just something different and actually nicely equipped for a smaller car, nice quality fit and finish to, i look forward to the next video on your V70R , I use to work for Volvo back in the 80's, it was fun while it lasted, new sub 👍
I'm on my 2nd Volvo 850 and been wanting to upgrade to a V70R and then this video makes it's way into my life... Still plan on getting one, but good to know that you can swap the turbo, obviously with some extra mods... When it comes to being under the car for awhile, I like to get it on some ramps because they give you plenty of room to work!! If you need even more room, jack up the rear end and put ramps under the rear tires
stuff tend to become much bigger when ure tearing something down.. but then when u get it back together with replaced or upgraded parts its oh so much more satisfying!. and u know whats done and what state its in.. very nice vid! kinda envy u a bit couse i havent got a place to wrench anymore.. and standing on the street outside is just for small jobs.. keep at it.. love ur P2! edit: did a sub. wanna follow this.. take care!
Really nice job dude. I've only been checking for these interesting R wagons on the road in the last 10 years. Saw one last year and had a pleasant conversation with the OG owner. You cannot even get a wagon new at the dealership from what I understand. All SUV'S and traditional wagons are special order.
Found you via this R series. I have always loved a fast wagon and have been eyeing these for awhile. Love the videos on the R and I have now sub'd to the channel.
I swapped my japanifold with an "R" one, did it together with a 19t turbo on my 2001 V70 T5 Mt, together with a bunch of other mods: Ferrita dp and catback, DO88 intercooler with al the piping. Can't say it sounds any different after the manifold swap though. Got custom software, pulls like a maniac! Credits to your channel! Greetings from the Netherlands
Incredible! I stumbled upon your channel back when you had under 5k subs and you had only released a couple videos. Came back to check in and I'm so glad you're getting the attention you deserve. Best of luck for your channel and your projects. Looking forward to seeing what this car will be like once you put it back together and tune it!
Loving the series and I love the fact how freely out of hand things get. You're actually showing when things don't go your way, your working on a car that has broken bits you didn't know about, stuff that's actually dirty. 😅 Not sure how your Swedish is, but SNABB is Swedish for FAST. 💪
I went for facelift 2005 S60 T5 2.4T with B5244T5 (81mm bore)+ M66 and KKK24Turbo from stock, currently only 350hp with supporting mods. I think more reliable and can take more power than R well know for cracking liners and head gasket problems. You would definitely love the D5 5 cylinder turbo diesel unfortunately not available in the USA. Greetings from Europe.
I know it’s only been 3 months.. but it’s time for you to find a fabricator to weld up custom, pie cut, stainless steel exhaust manifold headers.. it’s next on my list after: Subframe bushing upgrade that you mentioned in your video -thank you! Ipd sway bars, HD control arms, HD Endlinks, Adjustable Toe Rods 2006 XC70 running: Elevate tune 3” Snabb catless downpipe 3” 304 stainless exhaust Borla resonator & racing “muffler” Ipd Throttle, Charge Air, Turbo inlet, coolant silicone hoses Simota cold air intake hooked up to the stock intake sucking cold air 🥶 Upgraded Turbo from Tony at A1 Turbo in CA Still need to dial in the turbo & install a BOV Running very rich right now, going to a custom tune. ENDLESS UPGRADES!! Going to be buying a salvage S60R for the engine and to do a manual swap like you did -I don’t know if an XC70 w/ a manual transmission currently exist?
Top notch, I own a 06 Sr installing my Japanafold and a 71mm hybrid, along with a new collar sleeve. Currently running a D088 I.C all the pipping 3” revolv dp through a 2.75” custom exhaust. Thank you for your videos they are very informative well done. Congratulations your making your mark. Till next time 😎
I hope you're making this so complex for the benefit of our entertainment, because, oh boy, that's a lot of spare parts on the floor of that garage! We all know you're going to swap in a manual transmission at some point, maybe just pull the entire engine out and replace that at the same time! I hope this channel blows up because it is really a lot of fun! Cheers, Willem. ✌
I could do everything at once but I also enjoy the incremental upgrades and feeling/sharing the improvements every single time i change something. Not to mention if I changed 10 things at once and then had a problem starting it back up I wouldn’t know where to look. I think the engine will come out eventually though :)
Photography is never something that is gonna make me jump out of my seat with excitement like cars do, but long term I find photography much more fulfilling and meaningful.
I am really liking your content, and I thinking that your channel growth is going to be exponential! Too bad that we need to wait a whole week to get one episode. 🙂
Great vid, I did the japanifold install on my 96 850 T5 a month ago and it was a real mission. Can't really tell if there is much change in the sound but good to know it's future proofed for further upgrades
The b5234t9 I swapped into my 98 S70 T5M came with the japanifold. 3" catless turboback. Hybrid 22t, all aluminum intercooler, ttv 11lbs smf with sachs 707, snabb rip kit, and inlet with 3" maf. And snow performance wmi, dw pump and 800cc injectors. AEM x series running lambda regulation.
Nice video! But in fact everyone in EU is searching for a 'Japanifold' because it's the cheapest upgrade as for the manifold. If you want to spend some more, you upgrade to the R manifold, the one you dissambled😄 Sound wise the Japanifold could be better, but the R manifold is the one you want to have, especially on the 2.3 etc engines
You keep producing excellent videos! Love your content! Keep doing what you are doing! I never owned a R, but had an 07 D5 AWD Manual which I loved very much, after that I had a V60 and for the last 5 years I drove an 06 XC70 D5, All diesels due to living in Norway and diesels are much more popular here.
Love the volvo content, my love for volvo started 2017. I subscribed, hope the parts coming fast and a new video comes fast aswell! Would be really fun if you livestreamed that you fix tho 😁🤣
Man, I love your videos. I used to be the Pres of the now defunct So Cal VCOA chapter. I've owned 5 bricks over the years including an 82 242 ti. You are doing the hobby proud.
VCOA is great! Wish your chapter was still around
Not a lot of channels that make working a car this fun and engaging. M539 and you are just top notch for people who love cars. I do not own neither Volvo or BMW but I sit through every video like I will start working on one tomorrow. Love your content, and can't wait for a new video!

Really like the m539 comparison
Yes they are, I really love watching Sreten do his magic. @@TheBearboot
i wish i had knowledge like you to make such projects and work on my cars. it hits me diffrently when i see people restoring old cars.
I’m super new to this honestly! Just started really messing with cars 3 years ago and haven’t spent a ton of time until this last year when I started making videos. One step at a time and you can learn quicker than you might think :)
you have. if i can do it, you can also do it.
you dont need knowledge, all you need is a project, courage to take it apart and from time to time you will need @chrisfix
Cars are like Lego. Getting a suitable place to work on them is the real challenge.
@@SK1PP3R88don't forget about tools. they are expensive . :)
absolutely highlight of my week whenever these videos come out! good to see someone making some amazing quality content on these cars that is consistently coming out! keep it up man i love the build so far!

Greetings from Lithuania! Nice to see, that there are Volvo fans outside Europe as well. Waiting for the new exhaust sound. Mine 850 T5 also waits for japanifold swap.

That S60R was indeed money well spent! Love the channel and content--you've got me wanting a V70R so bad!
this series has quickly become my favorite one on youtube. absolutely love the vibe and seeing the V70R get progressively cooler every week is really interesting. historically I'm not a car guy by any stretch of the imagination, but these videos have me thinking of what I can customize on my trusty (lol) '12 Tiguan :)
The amount of subscribers you have is a high way robbery man, you should hit the millions already. Your videos are not only inspiring but are calm amd collected. The production is top notch. Keep up the great work man, im your fan from the pacific, GUAM, USA.
You are a true motivator for me to get stuck into my projects ❤
ey bro, this is great content 👌
over a decade ago, i was in the Volvo game and the debate was actually that the 'R' manifold flowed better - which is why Volvo made it for this car (which was the most powerful Volvo at the time). as time went on the debate continued and ppl started proving the Japanifold was better for high power builds.. that was an absolute win win situation honestly, better and new turbo setup and finding crap out, basically redoing the whole of worst problems inside the hood!
stocked and cant wait to see the next episode! cheers from France bro
Fantastic, thats been my dream car for a long time. The design is timeless.

King of V videos.
- Remember when turning up the boost, that the 2.5T is known for cracking. Maybe shim it first hand? 😉😄

I don't have a R but i have a T5 with 3" catless dp, no resonator and rear muffler and it doesnt drone either It is pretty loud though
I never had a problem with even billet 20t on 18psi.. 95 T-5R
good tune sub 20PSI is "safe" I am prepairing for a shim block but have been running 22psi for 3 years with a 18 lbs spring in my CBV.

Awesome as always, cant wait for the result next episode
Would love to see a video of you just going through the junkyard. Talk about tips on tools to bring with you and what to look for or something. Could be a cool video!

Say Japanifold one more time!!. 😁 Great vid again, love them!
Really enjoying the content lad. Keep it up.

Loving the series and I love the fact how freely out of hand things get. You're actually showing when things don't go your way, your working on a car that has broken bits you didn't know about, stuff that's actually dirty. 😅
Not sure how your Swedish is, but SNABB is Swedish for FAST. 💪
Dude, your channel KILLS!
I know it’s only been 3 months.. but it’s time for you to find a fabricator to weld up custom, pie cut, stainless steel exhaust manifold headers.. it’s next on my list after:
Subframe bushing upgrade that you mentioned in your video -thank you!
Ipd sway bars, HD control arms, HD Endlinks, Adjustable Toe Rods
2006 XC70 running:
Elevate tune
3” Snabb catless downpipe
3” 304 stainless exhaust
Borla resonator & racing “muffler”
Ipd Throttle, Charge Air, Turbo inlet, coolant silicone hoses
Simota cold air intake hooked up to the stock intake sucking cold air 🥶
Upgraded Turbo from Tony at A1 Turbo in CA
Still need to dial in the turbo & install a BOV
Running very rich right now, going to a custom tune.
ENDLESS UPGRADES!!
Going to be buying a salvage S60R for the engine and to do a manual swap like you did -I don’t know if an XC70 w/ a manual transmission currently exist?
absolutely love your content with this car
Top notch, I own a 06 Sr installing my Japanafold and a 71mm hybrid, along with a new collar sleeve. Currently running a D088 I.C all the pipping
3” revolv dp through a 2.75” custom exhaust.
That's an excellent point! @@wheelemverb
Been following your Photography page since before you moved out to LA, but I have to say, you seem way more excited working on these volvos. Haha
Photography is never something that is gonna make me jump out of my seat with excitement like cars do, but long term I find photography much more fulfilling and meaningful.
Recently picked up my first Volvo, a ‘06 v70r titanium/Atacama
I sure do appreciate you for sharing your journey working on these wonderful cars.👍🇺🇸😎👏👏👏
aww yeah my favorite car content atm keep it up broski, Nice MCM reference
Youre legit the Dimitar Berbatov of car content 😂 keep it up 💪
That "japanifold" should help with turbo spool aswell
I am really liking your content, and I thinking that your channel growth is going to be exponential! Too bad that we need to wait a whole week to get one episode. 🙂
Great vid, I did the japanifold install on my 96 850 T5 a month ago and it was a real mission. Can't really tell if there is much change in the sound but good to know it's future proofed for further upgrades
love it! // guy from sweden
Love your videos man, can't wait to see the next one!
Looking forward to watch the next one!! Keep them coming
I HEAVLY commend you! It took me 6 hours to remove just the turbo from one on the junkyard and had to drop the subframe
greetings from Sweden! Got a '63 Volvo Duett myself :)
New to the channel and just want to say your style is dope 🙌🙌 keep up the good work!
Nice car bro. Love from Morocco. Have a nice day. God bless you.
Loving the vids man! Great editing style and love the chill vibes
Likes your videos!! I am from sweden and i have drive volvo for 25 years!!Now i have v60 r design 2019 polestar awd 350hp
Love the volvo content, my love for volvo started 2017.
I subscribed, hope the parts coming fast and a new video comes fast aswell!
Would be really fun if you livestreamed that you fix tho 😁🤣
