I see so many channels on here now playing Days Gone, and it really just solidifies the fact that a sequel is needed, but sadly we’ll probably never see it. From Sony to the person who wrote the initial review of this game that doomed it from the start, shame on all of them. This is such a wonderful game. The effort Bend put into this game is nothing short of amazing.
I used to sit with my grandfather back in the day and he would tell me stories of growing up in the cold northern part of Wisconsin. His tales, as told in his calm, comforting voice, were endlessly fascinating and left me with some pleasant memories many, many years later. Similarly, relaxing with a drink in hand while Boris spins another Days Gone yarn fills me with a calm peace and puts a contented smile on my face every time, feeling that Life Is Good. He might say “Fuck” a tad more than my ol’ granddad, but he’s sure as hell just as memorable! Cheers, my friend, and thanks for the adventures!
Very decent of you to share that TC. And you are far too kind with your praise. So glad your grandfather didn't swear as much as I do, but of course, he never played Days Gone, lol.
Brother, I just beat 100% of the hordes and last ambush camp, I wouldn’t have been able without your excellent tutorials. Your walkthroughs are the best I’ve seen in any game ever. I did a few on my own and got my butt handed to me more than a few times! I do appreciate your efforts! I’m a full blown horde hunter now, going to try what I’ve learned from you. I already found quite a few tricks. I was not able to control the bike when rock climbing until I noticed how you let Deacon’s superhuman legs walk the bike up nearly vertical rock faces. I’m using the mechanics of the armored humvees and using bike as a barrier. One thing you said about remote bombs I wholeheartedly disagree with though. I find them almost the most useful explosives. On PS4 I’m able to set them off in sequence I laid them down. I’m pretty sure you can too. So I can set one in their caves then in a line of their paths to me. I can blow each one up as they advance by tapping or blow them all up by holding the right button down a little longer. The recipe for crafting remote bombs is from items easier to acquire as well. The grind to find cans is brutal!!!
Firstly, thank you for the very kind words Steven, you are far too kind with your praise. And honestly mate, the only thing that really bugs me about remote bombs, is the lack of kills you get from them. I love the accuracy you can get from them, but they just don't suit my playstyle. You sound like you are putting them to very good use though. And nice info about the easier resources for them that you mentioned, that's good information to know.
@@borislav247 actually I just found a house with 3 cans to loot which will make crafting attractors much easier to replenish. The house is directly north of Rogue Tunnel checkpoint. 2 in kitchen and 1 outside. Best location I’ve found for cans.
I loved watching the Iron Butte horde bite the dust in this video. No stamina cocktails, that is impressive! I will be trying that on my next gaming session. 🙂
Just to mention my experience with the Cascade rock climb to Lost Lake: -Make sure you have a full tank of gas before attempting the rock climb. I did not find the correct spot right away (Borislav's previous video did not show the water pool, that is extremely helpful), and before I knew it, I had run through most of my gas with the climb. I ended up having to walk the bike for the second half of the trip to Lost Lake, then I continued to walk it to Camp Pioneer and the tow truck for the gas can there. -Frequent autosaves after the initial rock climb near Copeland's camp are a good idea, since you can "fall through" the map if you do not follow the path that Borislav outlined. Had that happen to me several times. -The drop down the rocks into Lost Lake is deadly if you do not land correctly (with both wheels parallel to the ground), it took me a few tries to find the correct path. Since I was out of gas by that point (see above), I could not accelerate forward and I had to modify the path slightly. -Also, the rock climb into Iron Butte is a bit tricky. Make sure to follow Borislav's path exactly, or you will slide down the rocks. Hope that helps anyone having issues. I am breezing through a Hard II playthrough now (just entered Lost Lake officially, lol) with Borislav's method. I might try getting into the Crater Lake region the next time I play.
I have never been to the college prior to doing the mission with Sarah. I had no idea the whole area was blocked off like that, I had assumed that the horde simply didn't spawn until you did the mission. You learn so much from Boris' videos. I probably won't ever do a run like this myself, but it certainly makes for a fascinating and entertaining watch. 😀
That was really worth watching Boris. Just finished a marathon session there. First half I'd seen you do before but second half had loads of great new info. Unlocking all the remaining cascade and belknap hordes was a great finisher 👌
Thank you Allan. Tried to make sure this was a very accessable video with the chapters, so people could dial in to the parts they might struggle with. Days Gone well & truly opened up now my friend.
First time playthrough and you get to start it like this, lol, oh you are going to destroy this world my friend. I wish you all the best with your playthrough. Thank you for watching.
SOLID tutorial (as always). I just followed along and got everything except the optional Iron Butte horde. (I don't yet have Borislav's split-second timing to be able to take on that horde with such low stamina!). Great video as always. Thanks Borislav!
Well, you’ve done it. You’ve blown the game completely wide open! You’ve done an amazing job here, and adding the chapters is an extremely helpful touch. Bravo on another job well done! And lookee! You’re almost at 10K 🎉 👏🏻
I know you've been very busy exploring this world at the moment Violet, so you probably already know most of what I show on this video, lol. Thank you for you're very kind words as always, and I'm just 3 subs shy of 10K as I type this right now.
@@borislav247 Omg I see 10K now! Huuuge congratulations! So well deserved and I’m so happy for you! The little channel that could, powered by blood, sweat, and a lot of f-bombs 😂 And of course, powered by my favourite game, Days Gone. And you being you 😊 Congratulations again, and here’s to 20K and beyond!
@@VioletJones1999 Oh Violet, you are so kind & very funny with your comments. Thank you so much, as it's having people like you in the Days Gone community, that make it so special. You continue to make me laugh, and I just hope I can continue to entertain (and maybe slightly tone down the language, lol).
@@borislav247 Don’t change a thing! I appreciate a well-placed f-bomb, especially if it’s warranted. This game has given me many “oh fuuuuck” moments, believe me 😂
Bored with my current games I decided to play Days Gone for the umteenth time; once completed I saw your video on early access to other areas so I started a new game straight away (on hard this time). I have managed to get all the good weapons. Now , low and behold, you release another brilliant video so once I've completed my current playthrough I'm restarting on survivor difficulty and following this guide 🙂 I come back to this game again and again as seems to suit my 70yr old brain/reflexes 🙂
Incredible! The end-game of this guide not only gives the best melee (with repair capability), but also one of the best horde weapons (RPD)! Personally, though I love the US556, I'd also buy the PPSH-41 as it's comparable and you get it permanently in your locker. Lastly, I'd purchase the top-level Lil' Stubby, an absolute beast from the bike with one-shot freaker & hunting kills to rack up more meat for rep/credits. Nothing more satisfying than rolling up on a Screamer & one-shotting her before she calls her groupies, lol. As always, a joy to watch you work, sir!
Thank you for the kind words Jay, and I absolutely love your suggestions with the weapons. Given I have a LOT of credits when I go to purchase the RPD, I could have easily purchased the other 2 you mention, and like you said, they are then permanently in your locker.
Just started playing days gone and I am currently in Iron Butte thanks to your brilliant video. Can’t wait to go through the rest. Really detailed and such a great watch. I’ve watched this twice in full already before I attempted the run. Really enjoyed it Boris, you’re a natural!
Great video, Boris! just my 2 cents: once I gave Copeland the drugs I had a better bike in no time with a bigger tank. But your video is so good that once I have finished my current run, I am doing it all your way. Thanks again!
Yeah, cope's camp does have some good bike parts, but the best fuel tank there is still only around half the capacity of the one you get in the South. You get a nice engine there though after hitting trust level 1.
Such a well put together guide , highly detailed and wonderfully narrated . This video my friend is a Magnum Opus . I don't know what else to say.. Totally awesome my friend !
Hello my friend, with this game you have managed to get me to start DG for the 14th time. I too will seek and find ways over the mountains. That makes it fun. I'm already waiting for your next video. Also the length of the video is fantastic. Have a great weekend my friend. See you soon Best regards Bubu👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you Will. This one is pretty much the game changer of game changers, as the early setup from this video, just puts you in an amazing position for the rest of the game.
"Job done!" Your guide is spot-on, and everything worked as advertised. I'm now the proud owner of the superior axe, RPD, top-tier SMP-9, top-tier Lil' Stubby, PPSH-41, and a max-fuel tank (as well as a few other bike goodies)!! I tried to follow up with the Aspen Butte Ambush Camp, but the map for the camp area wouldn't fully render, and there were no enemies, even though the mission popped up and it shows on the map. Tried reloading a few times to no avail. That's ok....back to Copeland's Camp...I still have Tucker's green box on the back of my bike, lol. Thanks once again!
Great video, well done and very entertaining presentation. All the more reason to play this wonderful game again and follow your example. This allows for completely new challenges at the start of a new run, and you really don't need a NG+ game anymore, as it's definitely obsolete now. The icing on the cake was: "Yeah, they really don't learn ! Bring melee weapons to a gunfight. It's only going end one way." 😎
Thanks for this brother. So once I got everything you should I got to fast travel back to cooplins. What a awesome way to play around with days gone . Favorite game by far thanks brother
Ha! I knew you'd do this. Now your training videos are updated accordingly. You just rule, Borislav! @9:37 Btw, I died there many times because I either landed on another rock face or simply face down but I have always made quicksaves so I have always started up above again and not in the Cascades. So ye jolly folks do the quicksave!!!
If Boris can get this much content out of Days Gone stop and imagine what he'd do with Red Dead Redemption 2! Great video as usual man! It's actually making me wanna play the game again!
One of the things I never struggle on in games is being able to read the topography of a map - it’s something I learned 20+ years ago for storm chasing in Tornado Alley. I was using old folding paper maps and those spiral-bound map books you can buy at gas stations to navigate as it was far more reliable than Google Maps or cellphones back then, especially with some areas simply having no cell tower reach or even worse: a storm being severe enough to interfere with cell signals. I bring this up because at 7:29 you’re showing the map problem. Wound up taking a TON of screenshots of the game map on my PS4, downloading the images and putting them into Procreate. I’d have used Photoshop on my computer but it’s easier on my ipad to erase, draw on and stitch together photos. I’m making one giant map of the entire Days Gone world so I can do overlays for things like your video here, so I can find things in future play throughs. I probably won’t upload it because I don’t think anyone would bother using anything like that, but if you’d like to see it when I’m done, let me know! I hope it’s okay I’m doing this - I do credit you in the file’s meta data, as well as in text on the map image itself for the information.
NR, I could help you in a big way here. I just happen to have a huge map of the Days Gone world I downloaded from reddit, which would be perfect for you. If you can't find it on reddit, then just send an email to my TH-cam enquiry email address, which is borislav247enq@gmail.com , and I will happily send it to you in order to help you out. All the best NR.
Thorough very thorough. You dah man! You actually can send survivors to Lost Lake, but you have to visit the camp first and then afterwards you can send them there. Not sure if you have to use the mechanic to tigger it, cause I used it for the gas, but maybe? Someone said somewhere that Canadian's call gas petrol. Maybe they do in eastern Canada but out west we say gas. Lol not sure why I felt the need to clarify that? This stuff is crazy now! I just spent the last two days doing my own over-powered run. I was having a ton of fun but I just now entered Lost Lake legitimately and some of the spark died. 😂😂😂 Otherwise I was busy taking out hordes in new and inventive ways with my crazy heavy guns! Such fun! I wouldn't have continued to play the game without your tutelage Boris so all the props to you Prof. Thank you sincerely. Two last things, you can drop into the Theilsen Pass if you go left instead of straight before you ride into the little valley before the southern area. You can also drop into Lost Lake just behind the Sawmill if you continue north just a bit more. Both drops are less harsh on the bike and Deke. Just wanted to share a little knowledge of my own. ☺
These ones are proper game changers now Paula, the RPD especially. Holds an insane amount of ammo, and is a beast when it comes to destroying hordes. The Days Gone world is getting well and truly destroyed now.
@@borislav247 When I have a few hours to continue my current Hard II run, I will see if it might be possible to hit Level 2 trust at Wizard Island while there with the rock climb method. I really want that 50 cal rifle, it would make things very easy in Lost Lake.
@@borislav247 I had no idea that the RPD was superior to the MG45. I usually skip it since by the time I enter the South the normal way, I am very close to unlocking the MG55, which I love. Still, having the RPD early will make the north of the map a breeze.
@@JBost-en9tq I can save you the time here JB, it's simply not possible. As you have no missions & can't trade freaker ears or meat, you are relying on ambush camps, hordes and infestation nest zones to build up the trust. I took out everything to check this out & still fell well shy of trust level 2. If it had been possible, another video would have been coming from me, lol.
another great video boris surprised you didnt show the 2 hidden loot locations in iron butte. the one not far from where you get off the bike you stole after escaping the iron butte ranch at a tent in the rocks and also the look out tower opposite cloverdale
Honestly DJG, the only reason I didn't show them, is because you can only carry so much at this stage in the game, and there are some crazy good spots in Cascade & Belknap. After I had got back from this journey, I was loaded on just about everything, and I also wanted to keep the time on this video down a bit also, but it's still a long one, lol.
@@borislav247 i found what you said about the rimview ranch horde not appearing until after the mount bailey horde being taken out quite curious. one small mistake i did notice was their is actually 7 speakers in spruce lake but one of the marauders hit a explosive crate when the horde came out so it fell on its own. that doesnt always happen so new players might miss it. you can see it on the floor at 1 hour 40 minutes and 12 seconds into the video
Been following you and Grey Ghost on the playthrough I just started in order to access the southern regions early. Have picked up the US556 and MG45 and am getting ready to go south. Didn’t consider taking out some of these hordes in the south this early until watching these videos - they are actually easier earlier because you don’t have to deal with Breakers, Reachers, Screamers, cougars and bears joining the party. Did the Lobert Draw Ridge bridge and Nero site last in my last play through after the story finished. The horde was no problem, but I had to deal with a half dozen each of those stupid breakers, screamers, and reachers before I could complete the Nero site. Toward the end of the game they show up in multiples.
You are so right my friend, visiting the South early is an absolute delight with the lack of wildlife, especially NO RUNNERS, lol. You still have wolves & marauders to contend with, but otherwise, it's a rather surreal experience. Delighted you are enjoying mine & GG's vids, and I hope you are enjoying your Days Gone experience in a slightly different way.
This is like adding a new level to Days Gone Boris, excellent work. Cant wait to try it out. I will probably be cursing as I flip Deek off the rocks a time or to but it will be worth it.
I've been crossing the barrier from Horse Creek ambush once you can fast travel after clearing the lumber camp. Now all these new places you're showing has my attention.
@@borislav247 I do enjoy the exploration love the game actually. When I come to the terrain change, I hit the nitrous and speed across. Most of the time I make it. A quick save just before crossing incase I don't make it.
WHOA!!! I'm still working on getting to the south in my NG+ H2 playthrough (bad migraine put things on hold a while). Anyway, I stopped at Iron Mikes to explore, couldn't do anything except visit mechanic and use the Gun Locker, couldn't even sleep. Just like in the normal playthrough. This matters bc now: I'm at the ripper camp and just saved someone from freakers. Seeing as I did it _AFTER_ visiting Iron Mikes camp, it _did_ allow me to choose between sending him to Copeland's or Iron Mike's - seeing as those are the only two camps I've been inside so far. Fantastic info to have for future playthroughs/building trust before having access if this works in normal playthroughs too. I know you tried in this or the other video but that was _before_ you visited Iron Mike's camp so 🤷♂️ EDIT: After everything above I went down to Diamond Lake & Wizard Island camps as well before heading back up north and continuing the story/game as usual. To give an idea where I'm at in the story I just finished chasing the Nero Helo to the Twin Craters Horde/area & got the Radio left behind. On my way to Marion Forks to look for Lisa, on the way I found another survivor in need of rescue. The options it gave me were: Hot Springs, Copeland's or Iron Mike's I assume it didn't give me the option to send em to the Southern camps bc I'm up north...now that I think on it a second I'm pretty sure that's always the case - please correct me if I'm mistaken. Hopefully someone gets the opportunity to check and confirm whether or not this works via normal playthrough too. Don't see why it wouldn't but there are a lot of things I don't understand about this game, ie why a downed fence sometimes stops a horde in it's tracks 😂 so we'll just need to do it to know for certain
Hey 👋🏻 Boris awesome video my friend. This is definitely a good video for someone to watch and follow to get Deacon in a Bad Ass way with gear and such right at the beginning of the game. 😃👍🏻👍🏻
Oh my friend, the game is now starting to get properly destroyed in terms of difficulty, as the chance to get this much power so soon, means the masses should start to roll over this amazing game. Thank you for watching Shannon, most appreciated mate.
there are a lot of insane things going on here, and i can't wait to try all of them. i've got a fresh GOG copy of the PC version of the game, and i think i'm going to follow this in detail on my first playthrough of that version -- should be a lot of fun!
Oh DNB, you WILL have a lot of fun, and being able to eventually go around Cascade like a mad man early game without having to worry about fuel is quite surreal my friend.
Ive done it 🎉 thanks to you. What a journey this was hehe! you know so much of the game its just awesome and i wonder how you found all the spots where to go. Thx again for this master tutorial how to get it done! What a Legend
The routes to the other regions early were discovered by 2 other gents, but I show how to take full advantage of these early locations, lol. Thank you for watching mate.
Amazing vid. Interesting tho that your sweeping shooting is WAY better than mine. I love the Mt. Bailey loadout, 1 more grenade than me, 2 more pipe bombs than me, 1 more attractor bomb than me I have zero. HAHAHAHA I just came from all the exact same places as you, never did the butte tho bc I couldn't come close to pulling that off after a good 15 tries, but did everything else you have and I have nowhere near the loadout you do but do have all the same weapons open and have looted at least 10 cop cars. W O W! Newbs, huh? HAHAHAHA WHEW!! On the mt bailey I used 1 grenade, 7 molotovs, 556 and 9 mil pistol---EVERYTHING I could find including the 2 cop cars leaving the previous ambush station where we use the horde to kill them.
Thanks for this. I'm at part 8 and fully tooled up now. FYI my PC version the map is 100% toast the second I leave the main map; I've had to follow you by eye.
Lol, the map has problems once you leave Cascade. You have done well to get to where you are now without the map. I've never tried this on the PC before.
Oh indeed Becks, and it gets better, as you can get close to fully upgrading the bike with all the best parts. I go into more detail on that on the follow up video to this one, but it's linked at the end of this video if you want to go further with the advantages. Happy exploring Becks.
@@borislav247 thank you buddy really enjoyed my time in the South explored as much as i could before returning back to Copelands happy that I got all 3 best weapons il tagged you in my vid
I PROMISE, I was working on the Chemult College Access while you were working on THIS video....I didn't steal anything and actually got the path you took from another YT'er! 😆🤣🤣 But holy crap, I'm SO going after that RPD!!! 😜👍 and getting the gas tank!- just wow! We are totally destroying this game...it's gone nuclear now, my friend!!🤣🤣 Just TOO much stuff to discover but I love this Ultimate guide!! 👏🫡🤯
Lol, it's all good Oppenheimer. I absolutely loved the first method you showed on your latest video (will leave a like and comment later my friend). I never ever consider you stealing anything GG, you always give credit to others. We are just sharing some great information for the Days Gone community, and it's absolutely on fire right now. So many people are just going nuts on exploring this game my friend. Just remember, you started all this with the way out of Cascade, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE🤣🤣🤣.
Let's see if Boris can get to 10k subs, he deserves it and more! This guide couldn't come at a better time for me. I just finished my latest play through and I'm ready to start again. Can't wait to start going South for these goodies :)
It's a blast heading South this early, and so much safer with a limited amount of dangerous animals to contend with (just wolves & criers). Thank you for your kind words John, most appreciated.
This sir is one hell of a good guide! But man, out of my own stupidity, I kept running out of fuel over and over and over lmao... This guide is amazing though!
@@borislav247 no sir, it is you who is too kind! Putting this much of time into creating such a well made guide, that's amazing! Let's be honest, many out there would tend to slap something like this together in 20 different videos just to get content out there. But no sir, not you! Props to you my friend! I've been enjoying following this guide on my day off lol.. has certainly kept me busy!
There are also other guns that can be found, the Eliminator and Crowd Breaker, which can be obtained early in the game. The Eliminator is in the Iron Butt, and the Crowd Breaker is located south of Highway 97, and is also Free.
@@borislav247 It is near the Nero Checkpoint of Iron Butte. When you get there, go a little north. There will be a yellow Fram house. If you want to understand more easily, it is the point where you must enter together with Skizzo while you encounter the Ripper standing in front of the fire. When you get there, go to the parking lot where there will be 1 red sedan and 1 white pickup truck, a total of 2 cars, parked there. When you get there, you will not see it because it is a random event. If I may recommend, go at night. Find the bed that was previously the Nero Checkpoint and sleep overnight, but it must be at night. When night comes, look at the map. Is there a pattern like this ” ? “ If it is at the yellow house, hurry up and go. You will encounter a group of 4 enemy survivors and 4 more Rippers, totaling 8. There will be gunshots before you see the 2 groups fighting. When you find them, kill the 4 enemy survivors. They will drop all 4 Eliminators. You will get them. Be careful Freakers will attack you more. ( Save your game before going to bed, just in case )
That was legendary boris well worth waiting for very impressive definitely doing another playthrough just one question why you think spruce lake ambush camps available and others are not .legend regards ian 👍
Thank you for the kind words Ian. And there's only 2 ambush camps that ain't available, both the ones in Iron Butte. A really strange one, as all the rest are available to take on.
I don’t use PlayStation, mostly Xbox but your channel has made me want to get the game and try it on a PS5 pro, based on graphics alone much less the story and gameplay. Looks like I’m gonna be 600 poorer soon
You're timing could be really good, as apparently, a remaster is in the works for Days Gone. Not sure if this is true, but it's being talked about a lot right now.
1:33:10 ish) I love taking this horde out repeatedly when start getting close on trust points. The best method I've found so far is parking the bike next to the humvee that has crates on one side of it. I park the bike on the opposite side of the crates, making that climbable portion inaccessible, then climb on the crates & walk onto the hood of the humvee, save. Couple gun shots, wait for the horde to start hitting the ground and rain bullets. Setting the bike up like that means they can't flank you so you only have to worry about the crate side. When they're all dead, collect ears, refill ammo if needed, climb back up, save & load file - take em out again. Rinse & repeat repeatedly 😁🤓
I managed to get level 2 at Diamond lake and got the upgrade motor too. You basically need to follow these excellent instructions in the video but also take out all nests (not crier nests) that you find and rescue any random hostage and direct them to Diamond lake camp. I'm not certain of this but...If you don't at least visit Diamond lake camp upon first arrival in the region then it doesn't appear as a camp that you can send rescued people too. So I would recommend visiting the camps on arrival and interact with the merchant. Even if you don;t buy anything because you can't...Just say hello.
Some brilliant info here my friend, and you are so right regarding the camps. Never attempt any hostage rescues until you have visited Wizard Island & Diamond Lake camps, as otherwise, you simply don't get the option to send the hostages to any of these two camps. Visiting the camps first has an extra bonus, as it unlocks the Rimview Ranch horde. If you go looking for them before visiting the the 2 camps, you simply can't find them.
straight-up rolling into Wizard Island, and the merchant appropriately leads with "i've never seen you around before." don't worry about it bruv, just hook me up with some suppressors xD
LOL, I am 50pts shy of earning trust level 2 in Diamond Lake, I have already trust level 1 on Wizard Island. I am totally short of grenades, molotovs and other throwables. I hoped I'd get my points for doing the Groose Gardens Horde but here I am getting myself ready to pay Spruce Lake Ambush camp a visit as it functions as my go-to loot location over there and then doing the Mt. Bailey Horde before I go back to Diamond Lake, get my next bike upgrade and travel back to Boozer and get on with the story... Oh well!
Decided to do this during my NG+ Playthrough. Obviously I don't need to go for the weapons, bike parts etc as I've already got all that. I was hoping having trust level 3 would change things & I'd be able to buy mag upgrades & such, it didn't. Oh well, still worth opening Iron Butte Nero checkpoint so I can fast travel to & fro when I reach lost lake - I'm hoping to make good use of all the explosives this playthrough so it'll be worth hitting the Iron Butte premade loot locations repeatedly EDIT: Thanks to another comment on here I learned the merchant at Wizards Island _is_ there (idk if I zoned out & missed it in the video or not) but I was able to buy mag upgrades for those weapons so yay!
Double-commenting, sorry, but I wonder if you’ve noticed this, too. When I did my first easy play through last month, I followed yer guide into getting the gun that’s in the back of the military truck near the Iron Butte mission horde (forget the name of the gun atm) as well as unlocking the NERO Checkpoint out there long before I would’ve gone that way to kill my first Breaker. I wound up struggling a lot. I wasn’t under-leveled, not really, as the regions don’t quite scale in that way. However, I noticed what you’re seeing right here at 14:41 with the Freakers evading bullets and just seeming more difficult to kill. I had spent all of my Freaker ears before going out and when I came back, I saw I had killed several Bleachers which I thought might’ve been more difficult to kill than normal Freakers. Had my SMP9 with me at the time, so I wasn’t using the 9mm peashooter. 😂 The Freakers were so difficult to kill (several bullets on a perfect headshot for example) I wound up hiding im some bushes all night so I could then take out the NERO Checkpoint as by time I succeeded the rock climb into Iron Butte -and I started early in the AM- it was too late in the evening to do more than just get that one gun. Even the Rippers at the NERO Checkpoint kicked my arse. I took out the Ripper Heavy first but the rest were absolute nightmares. I wonder if that was because the area is technically meant for two rather difficult late-game missions? Or the devs way of punishing us sneaky folk who get to places early lol. Going back through my livestream of that Iron Butte visit, I actually noticed the female Freakers do the Neo/Matrix bullet time dodging bullshite more often than the males, but the shirtless male Freakers in jeans (like the one you killed here at 14:24 ) ALSO seemed to take 4 headshots to die. I tested this with the SMP9 and a sniper rifle. I plan to go back today and test out the area (NG+ Hard II) with my .50 BFG, SMP9, and then maybe one of the lower-level snipers you’d get before the .50 BFG, just to see how mobs compare. They already do the dodging bullshite on Hard II so I’m curious if Iron Butte is supposed to just be ‘difficult’ to stop you from being there too early which would then likely make Crater Lake/Hwy 97 a right bother.
Some good observations here NR. I've also noticed that the freakers movements when playing on the harder levels, are far more problematic to deal with, than those on lower levels of difficulty. So many crazy differences with so many things on this game is what makes Days Gone the best game ever made (In my very biased opinion of course, lol).
Be careful when leaving your bike for too long while in crater lake as well. I took out an ambush camp when coming out of a tunnel. Left my bike in the tunnel, when I came back bike was gone I had to run back to diamond Lake to get it back. What a trek.
I've had this happen to me too Ang, and at the very same Ambush Camp as you. I ended up reloading a previous save to sort my problem, but there's a lesson here for sure. We clearly can't park the bike in the tunnel, lol.
I'm only somewhat following along with this during my Meh Fnck It! Let's Go OP AF ASAP Easy playthrough 😂 (what can I say, it was this or survival mode & I was all revved up to go for it until I saw that even the easier one takes away the ear to the ground perk ... So here we are instead). My plan may have backfired though bc, even tho I'm playing on EASY mode, I've come across _several_ wolf packs that had 6-9 wolves in the pack...WTF?!?! Even in my Hard 2 playthrough I never saw more than 5 wolves in a pack, EVER! Now all the sudden the packs are 2-3x the average size of midgame packs and I'm still in the early game!!! Haven't even gone to Tucker's yet. This game just keeps pulling surprises, something new every playthrough! Love it!
Oh mate, you are having some really unlucky encounters if you are getting that many wolves, as that is extremely unusual. The only area I've ever had big problems with animals, is the Ambush Camp in the North section of Iron Butte, where it's possible to all of a sudden encounter 6 to 8 runners, and that's scary, lol.
@@borislav247 Yikes!! Yeah, I'm having enough trouble with so many damned wolves - I'll pass on the runners party if I can 😂 It's so strange (so many wolves in each pack)! At first I assumed two packs just so happened to meet up but by the 4th or 5th pack it was pretty clear that's not the case! I'm just glad I'm playing on Easy mode - no doubt I'd be 😵 all over the map if this was happening on a harder difficulty 😁 I've been binge watching your videos again but YT is outta control with the ads today - I'm getting em approx every 1-3mins and it's driving me nuts! So I'm taking that as my cue to go read a book or something for a while ☺️ 🍻
@@borislav247 Argh! I just wrote out a long comment only to have a GD ad come up and erase everything!!! WHY TF does that happen now?! It's infuriating 🤬 The gist of what I'd said was: after I finished for the day & resumed the next the wolf packs were back to normal again, was fun while it lasted tho. After visiting lost lake early & stopping by the camp i decided to take out a couple ambush camps & the sent every survivor to IM's - enabling me to reach trust level 2 before ever stepping foot in lost lake...legally anyway 😂 Finally, in GGGs latest vid when he was talking about needing a respawning ammo supply (or similar to that) I had an "Oh shit! Borislav's been scooped!" type moment! Luckily, that wasn't the case ... yet! It's only a matter of time, can't believe no one else has noticed it yet (as far as I can tell/find anyway).
@@borislav247 I just had one of those Mr Burns' "Excellent" type moments 😁 I'm super excited for that video! Extremely unlikely as it is: if I happen across anything else between now & then (and beyond, no doubt) I'll be sure to let you know 🍻
27:13 This house on the left I found near it the eliminator pistol level 4. Surprised you didn't mention it, or maybe you'll because I yet to watch the whole video 😅😅
I will be checking this out for sure. I am aware that there is an Eliminator available in the Iron Butte region, but I've heard of different locations for it, and it never seems to be there. Not sure if this weapon appears at random locations in Iron Butte, but I will check out this house, as it's a huge find if this location for this weapon is constant. Thank you for letting me know about this.
No thank you for this amazing content, to elaborate more it's exactly at 27:10 There was a 2 x marker, it's all corpses and I found it there I really hope that it's a constant location for it, again thank you for your hard work on these videos 🤍🫡
I've played through the game, twice, and am beginning a NG+ on survivor mode. I probably need to watch more of this. I know the axe is only picked up, but for the other weapons, I don't understand how you can buy them so early in the game, without being in NG+. (Repeating 2nd sentence) Anyway, I think your videos are the bees knees. Used several of your tips on challenges, and love them. Ok, back to watching.
This video shows you how to leave Cascade immediately, and get to every single region in the game. When you get to the other regions, there are no missions, but Ambush Camps & hordes still are available to take on. It's by taking out these that you can get credits & trust on each region, which allow for the purchase of the RPD in the end. The US556 is another item picked up. You'll see when you watch the whole video, but this is how it's all possible.
Started this today, and having followed your methods to get to the south, i've been taking out the camps in my own fashion. But just wanted to say that I've taken out the Rimview hoarde, and not the Mt Bailey as yet. So that must just be luck/bad luck I think.
Indeed Mark, or, might have something to do with the Wizard Island & Diamond Lake camps. Did you go to any of these before going after the hordes?. Just asking, as I feel this could be a factor. Until you have been to these camps for example, any hostages that you find will not be given the choice to go to any of these 2 camps until you have first visited them, so maybe the Rimview Ranch horde is locked until you visit one or both of these camps.
@@borislav247 I had opened both camps by that time. Wizard Island early as I needed suppressors, then Diamond Lake after I'd had two rescue missions that only gave WI as an option. I had left Rimview quite late, having already taken out the 4 hordes in Highway 97. Could that be the factor?
@@borislav247 Now that I think about it, it makes sense that is when both camps have been visited. On a 'normal' game you arrive in the south and have to do the Kouri & meet the colonel missions, opening both camps. After which I have taken out the Rimview horde quite quickly.
@@markryde9825 It could be mate. I still think the camps are the main factor here, so I just need to check this out. But thanks for that info there mate, most appreciated.
Boris, what would be your best recommendation for getting a good (or at least decent) sniper rifle as early as possible? I'd love to get that BFG50 from Wizard Island...but I suspect there's not enough Trust points available until those missions actually open up. Thoughts?
Well Tony, you are right on the money about the BFG. It's locked behind trust level 2 at Wizard Island, and there simply isn't enough things to do to get the trust to level 2 there (and I've tried, fell a few thousand short). The only early option is the M40 sniper rifle. Not a fantastic weapon, but with a suppressor on it, and some unlocked skills from the skill tree, it becomes a good option if you crave the use of a sniper rifle. Even in Lost Lake, the first decent sniper rifle is the C8, but it's also locked behind trust level 2 there, so simply can't be got early. In a nutshell Tony, a good sniper rifle simply isn't available early. Even the ambush camps in the south seem to be using M40's. But, if I find a camp (or an enemy anywhere else in the game) that uses a better sniper rifle, I will let you know mate.
@@borislav247 Thanks for such a complete answer. I appreciate your insights! On a related note, have you noticed any glitches in the Story after accessing these areas early? I used my new "OP Deacon" to start a new playthrough and found that the Story is broken in Lost Lake. (Specifically, the mission for Addy where you get the Liston knife from Sherman's camp is glitched. The case is already broken into and the knife is gone. So I'm unable to progress.) UPDATE: Just to let everyone know, this glitch was NOT related to the proces shown in the video. After doing the above process for a 2nd time on a new playthrough, the glitch I encountered no longer happened. So whatever caused my previous playthrough to glitch...it wasn't related to Borislav's instructions above at all. I'm now back in the Cascades as OP Deacon and it's fantastic. :)
@@borislav247 Hey Borislav, thank you for the response. I've got a good update so I'll edit my question above if TH-cam will let me. II did the whole thing over (following the instructions above) and am happy to report that the Lost Lake region is glitch-free. Whatever happened in my previous playthrough that broke the Liston knife mission is no longer an issue. So I suppose it was just a random glitch and not related to accessing the lower map areas early at all. Like I said, I'm going to edit that previous question so as not to give future viewers a wrong impression. If I can't edit it, I'll just delete it. Thanks again for responding and for great content!
@@TonyRush Thank you for the update on that Tony, that is so appreciated. I was getting ready to do a blitz run on Days Gone to get to Lost Lake and check this out myself, but now I don't have to, lol.
I've managed to get to Diamond Lake on Survivor 2 but are now wondering if I can take on any of the required hordes using the easy kill locations as on this difficulty everything is a bullet sponge - I'm scared of being stuck on a rock and out of ammo. Any advice? I didn't attempt the trip until I managed to get the first level of bike upgrades at Copeland's Camp and get a few health injections as the fall into Lost Lake can be a Killer - not to mention instant death from a random wolf pack attack.
Well mate, in regards to the hordes, the easy kill locations are great, but if you do run out of ammo, you can always run away and simply restock, as there are a GREAT amount of police vehicles in the South to loot. Also, don't be afraid to use throwables (especially for the big hordes, Mt Bailey, Lobert & Rimview). Just take your time and enjoy the experience. The fact that you only have wolves to contend with (and no Breakers, screamers or Reachers) does make the jobs a bit easier.
I will be honest, I will be doing a full playthrough where I show the best way of taking on this entire game with every advantage Days Gone gives , but, this won't be happening until next year mate.
I just finished my second play-through and I have only now discovered the New Game Plus sniper rifle. How did I miss that it was a thing? The ammo looks quite interesting. Think I'll try out the gas rounds on some of the end-game hordes that I haven't cleared up yet. Edit: Crikey, two shots with gas rounds took out about 2/3 of the Solomon Hill horde. This thing is seriously OP!
What difficulty are you playing on? I used in my NG+ Normal playthrough & felt super confident starting my NG+ Hard II...now idk if it glitched or barely does anything on this difficulty but I'm rethinking my life choices 🤣🍻
@@Lady8D Think I was playing NG+ on regular difficulty. The gas cloud seemed to kill any freakers it touched, so if you could get them bunched up enough it was super-effective.
After the first “view” the ground glitches out and it don’t come back lol I fall through the map every single time. I notice you jump a tad over the glitchy ground spot but my dude just drives right through the ground. Any advice?
I promise you my friend, that IS the very next playthrough I will be doing. It will be some time next year, and I'll be using a PS5 Pro, so it should be nice to watch. I will go about showing how to royally destroy this game right from the start, and there will be no limitations, everything will be available to use. I will of course play this on the hardest setting, but when you see how I work through this game now, the difficulty level won't make any difference, lol. Hope you enjoy it when it comes out mate.
@@borislav247WOW!. What a journey!. After several heart attacks, anxiety attacks and countless auto saves later, I’ve finally returned back to Copeland’s camp. After 11 hours of following your guide (Please don’t judge 😄), I actually feels like I’ve finally returned home haha. Thankyou Boris for your content, it was a hell of a gaming experience!. Now it’s time to unleash. Thanks again
That journey was sweet but has it been patched or something? I thought that connecting the routes made it so you could go back to those areas? Or was it to just be able to take a trip there early..either way dope video, for anyone starting from scratch, easily the biggest level up possible. I wish I had found this video on my first run!
It's all about getting to these areas early for the insane advantages you get. Unfortunately, even though all the areas are visited, they still ain't unlocked, but you can get back to them using the same routes that I show.
Butte Horde: I just noticed something. When you're on the first big rig to take a rest you GAIN quite a substantial amount of stam while climbing-on the 2nd level. Is there anything special I need to do to pull that off? Then on the first military vehicle you get off a full clip AND reload AND full stam recovery. I can only get 1 of those 3 and I don't sprint for half the distance to that truck from the big rig and when I make my exit off the vehicle there's usually 3-5 f's that I have to avoid coming from almost directly in front of the next big rig you run toward then pass. Ya know I've never really excelled at fps's and I don't think this is my time to do that but it's the absolute best way to clear that horde as far as I'm concerned. A M A Z I N G!!
I don't do anything special my friend, and I can't remember if I have any patches from the challenges in play here, as a couple of them (Surrounded & Black Friday patches) give huge stamina benefits. A gold score on those 2 challenges will give you huge stamina benefits. Only other thing I can think of is that I will have used injectors for stamina.
Taking out the Chemult College horde was fun. I did fall off the rock and couldn't recover the bike because the cursor would jump back to the region I was supposed to be in. I just kept walking around the rock pressing the square (PS5) until he just leaps back up there. Whew! Also when ya come out of Diamond Lake camp to the right of the main entrance drive to those 3-4 burnt out buildings on your right and there's a gas (or petrol, if you prefer) can in there. Just info for those of you that hate wasting credits on buying gas in the early stages of the game. I have my fuel can locations just outside of every camp just for that purpose 😆🙃
I use a controller mate, so it's all about using the 2 joysticks to do this. Not sure how you would do this though if you are playing this on PC using keyboard & mouse.
9:40 ish) I could not get the bike to land well here! Tried & died a few times, then I guess the game took pity on me bc I tried, looked like I died but Deek got up with Zero health & a destroyed bike but the game let me stay where I was to heal & fix bike 🎉 EDIT: oh! And to avoid starting over, I just saved before taking the leap of faith & reloaded my game each time Deek died.
That's bloody good thinking there L8D. Honestly, when I was recording all this, I saved every time before starting each part. Just saved a lot of time in case anything went wrong.
I would buy the PPSH too for the locker and bring back the US556 so I would have a fallback if I switched to the auto shotgun. I like the SMG's and use them before the lower assault rifles. I really dislike the MWS.
Probably the one thing I should have included was also purchasing the PPSH. It is a fantastic backup, and I had plenty of credits. I actually could have picked up a few weapons, lol.
@@borislav247 Easy for me to say having a beer watching your (weeks of?) work! You should just say "Feck off you armchair critic" 😀 Thanks for the hard work, much appreciated. You've given my replays a whole new lease of life.

I destroyed those tumblebug river nests as well as the rimview ranch nests but everytime i did there was almost always a breaker in there with them.. scared the absolute daylights out of me..made quick work of them with the RPD Though... the Rimview ranch one was really scary though because after i destroyed that one in the cave a breaker came out and as i was shooting the breaker a massive horde came pouring out scared the daylights out of me...had i known there was a horde in there i would have approached that a different way.
@@borislav247 Oh i was so terrified..they came poring out so fast..lol..but i went back later and took them out after i slept..used an easy kill area & that was it.
Cool stuff. I made it to iron butte but I can’t do anything. Is that normal? I can’t clear camps or get Nero checkpoints. I want to know before I try to go to the next section. Thanks!
Right my friend, here's what you can and can't do. In the Iron Butte region, none of the ambush camps are activated at this point, so no rippers are there & you can't open the bunkers because of this, but, the Nero site in Iron Butte IS open, so you can open it and use it as a place to sleep. Good news for the South, ALL the ambush camps are active, and the vendor for the weapons in Wizard Island is OPEN. In Diamond Lake, the mechanic in the camp is there but the supplies for ammo is not. At all of the regions, if you leave early, none of the freaker ear traders or food traders are open, so you have nothing to trade when you leave. And finally, all of the sleeping areas at the main camps (wizard Island, Diamond Lake & Lost Lake) are disabled. Hope all this helps mate.
@@borislav247 Ok so I actually did it from lost lake(I regret doing it from here because I couldn't pan the camera down past lost lake but luckily I know it pretty well) which was where i was at in the story(I didn't want to restart my playthrough). I died a couple of times and ran out of gas on the mountain toward crater lake, and after I got the metal axe I ran right into a horde and got swarmed before I could slow down(This was all during the night). I also came across a glitch in Iron Butte. I think I went too far to the left because I fell into the abyss lol. I got lucky when I first went to diamond lake there were a handful of mauraders outside that I got trust from. Thanks again brother. It was a fun trip.
@@borislav247 Oh I forgot to mention the drop down from the mountain into crater lake I didn't take any damage or wreck the bike. Maybe I got lucky I'm not sure how.
@bogdanzelca7788 What does frog jump mean? Also, how does one do it in this game? First time I've heard the term & it's making me imagine Deek playing Leapfrog with the Freakers 🤣
You can get access to the train site no problem Ian, but, there will be no drugs there. They only appear once the actual mission starts. But, you CAN head over to the site just before activating the mission, and place a few traps. It's a damn good way to make this mission a lot easier. I know because I've made a video on it already, but it won't be shown until the extreme playthrough is finished. Love your thinking process here though Ian.
2:32:16 ish) I like to go in from behind (👀 ... Uhhh, wait a sec! Oops, I didn't mean it like that 😂) I like to ride on the railroad tracks and then pull off into Sherman's camp just behind the building where Deek & Mike go to grab the keys to the fed building. No chance of running into sniper ambush from this direction & I can either park & stealth walk the rest the way or drive right up to whichever buildings I wanna visit & exit the way I came in, again to avoid any potential sniper bs. I've also used the bike to jump to the roof of that building (I forget what it's called, where the keys are) and have been wondering if it'd be a good place to take out the horde...I assume you probably tried this when making that video, yes? If so, how'd it go?
I have indeed tried this L8D, and it's a fantastic spot. I actually show this on my Sherman's Camp Horde video. Only downside to this one is that your bike has to be fast to make the Jump, but once the jump is made, you are safe from everything.
Had no idea the mount bailey Horde was the hardest in this game..i mean i struggled with it for a while until i used the easy kill water area but i was always so Scared of the sawmill horde..i thought that was the biggest & hardest horde for everyone.
The Sawmill horde is certainly the biggest Tyler, but they are in a far better environment that make them easier to take out. The Mt Bailey horde however, are up in the hills, and once they scream out of that cave, you have very limited options to take them out.
Something very minor. When you first get to Diamond Lake to upgrade the bike you skipped over Nitrous. I followed your guide (second time now as trying to finish whole game no deaths) and Nitrous 1 is available at this point and its even free, you just need to equip. Have a screenshot if you want it.
I couldn't agree more with every damn word you said there my friend. You have just said what we are all feeling.
Absolutely!
Yep 👍
You’ve changed the opening hours of the game forever. Well done sir.
Thank you my friend. Between myself, PS5Secrets & Greyghost gamerz (AKA Oppenheimer, lol), this game has been well and truly blasted open.

Thank you mate. Was a tad trickier with low stamina, but I simply made some extra climbs to give Deek some rest time. It went very well, lol.
Having many beers and watching. Cheers to you Boris, you are amazing! 🍻
You are far too kind Carla, and I'm so jealous, as I'm currently NOT drinking, lol.
Just to mention my experience with the Cascade rock climb to Lost Lake:
-Make sure you have a full tank of gas before attempting the rock climb.
Some amazing info there my friend, thank you for sharing JB. Excellent stuff.
Very kind words FS, thank you so much mate.
That was really worth watching Boris. Just finished a marathon session there. First half I'd seen you do before but second half had loads of great new info. Unlocking all the remaining cascade and belknap hordes was a great finisher 👌

Brilliant to hear my friend. You sound like a Days Gone die hard, and delighted this video will help you.

An absolute pleasure Jay. Delighted the video has helped you so much.
Hey Boris, just replicated your walkthrough to OP Deek! Great job … it was super fun!!!
NICE, now you're ready to steamroll this game Rob. I wish you all the best on this my friend.
Great video, well done and very entertaining presentation.
All the more reason to play this wonderful game again and follow your example.
This allows for completely new challenges at the start of a new run, and you really don't need a NG+ game anymore, as it's definitely obsolete now.
The icing on the cake was:
"Yeah, they really don't learn !
Bring melee weapons to a gunfight.
It's only going end one way." 😎
This is definitely close to destroying NG+. Thank you for the very kind words & delighted you enjoyed the video.
BOris, great video and thanks for the chapters, so important with this type of video mate.
An absolute pleasure Michael, and this video just had to have them as every region route is shown.
Thanks for this brother. So once I got everything you should I got to fast travel back to cooplins. What a awesome way to play around with days gone . Favorite game by far thanks brother
An absolute pleasure Frank. Just another way to inject some more fun into this already amazing game.
Wise words my friend, wise words.
That was an epic watch. The commitment you have towards this game is unmatched. Very enjoyable indeed 👏👏👏👏
Thank you mate, appreciate the kind comments.
If Boris can get this much content out of Days Gone stop and imagine what he'd do with Red Dead Redemption 2! Great video as usual man! It's actually making me wanna play the game again!
Thank you Marlon. This one is a crazy one to use, especially as you can roam the South with only Wolves & Criers to worry about wildlife wise.
Loving the info my friend, thank you for all that. And the kind words are most appreciated TW. Delighted you are enjoying the early region visits.
Nice one Boris. Trying to get up those rocks can be so tricky sometimes 🤬. Love the powerful weapons you can get so early in the game. 🇬🇧
@@JBost-en9tq It will indeed, but I'm like you JB, I look to get my hands on the MG55 also.
another great video boris
surprised you didnt show the 2 hidden loot locations in iron butte. the one not far from where you get off the bike you stole after escaping the iron butte ranch at a tent in the rocks and also the look out tower opposite cloverdale
@@djgarf1210 DAMN, I appreciate that info about the Spruce Lake speaker DJG.
Yes. That's it. That's what we're here for. I will be using this in a few weeks.
You will have a blast my friend. Surreal with no dangerous animals around (apart from wolves of course).
This is like adding a new level to Days Gone Boris, excellent work. Cant wait to try it out. I will probably be cursing as I flip Deek off the rocks a time or to but it will be worth it.
Lol, you do get used to the rock climbs mate. Just don't use acceleration, just walk up the rocks using Deacon's incredibly strong legs, lol.
I've been crossing the barrier from Horse Creek ambush once you can fast travel after clearing the lumber camp. Now all these new places you're showing has my attention.
Nice, hope you enjoy the exploration mate.
This matters bc now:
I'm at the ripper camp and just saved someone from freakers.
I know you tried in this or the other video but that was _before_ you visited Iron Mike's camp so 🤷♂️
EDIT: After everything above I went down to Diamond Lake & Wizard Island camps as well before heading back up north and continuing the story/game as usual. To give an idea where I'm at in the story I just finished chasing the Nero Helo to the Twin Craters Horde/area & got the Radio left behind.
On my way to Marion Forks to look for Lisa, on the way I found another survivor in need of rescue. The options it gave me were:
Hot Springs, Copeland's or Iron Mike's
I assume it didn't give me the option to send em to the Southern camps bc I'm up north...now that I think on it a second I'm pretty sure that's always the case - please correct me if I'm mistaken.
Some great info here my friend. This is very relevant to something I'm checking out at the moment so thank you for this L8D.

There are also other guns that can be found, the Eliminator and Crowd Breaker, which can be obtained early in the game. The Eliminator is in the Iron Butt, and the Crowd Breaker is located south of Highway 97, and is also Free.
These are good to know mate, the Eliminator especially. Where in Iron Butte is the Eliminator mate?.
@@borislav247
It is near the Nero Checkpoint of Iron Butte.
Very nice my friend, very nice indeed.
Lol, you've got to love Wizard Island.
Oh well, still worth opening Iron Butte Nero checkpoint so I can fast travel to & fro when I reach lost lake - I'm hoping to make good use of all the explosives this playthrough so it'll be worth hitting the Iron Butte premade loot locations repeatedly
EDIT: Thanks to another comment on here I learned the merchant at Wizards Island _is_ there (idk if I zoned out & missed it in the video or not) but I was able to buy mag upgrades for those weapons so yay!
Indeed L8D, Indeed mate.
The Freakers were so difficult to kill (several bullets on a perfect headshot for example) I wound up hiding im some bushes all night so I could then take out the NERO Checkpoint as by time I succeeded the rock climb into Iron Butte -and I started early in the AM- it was too late in the evening to do more than just get that one gun.
10K subs are on the horizon! 😊
They are indeed my friend, I feel truly blessed.
I'm just glad I'm playing on Easy mode - no doubt I'd be 😵 all over the map if this was happening on a harder difficulty 😁
I've been binge watching your videos again but YT is outta control with the ads today - I'm getting em approx every 1-3mins and it's driving me nuts! So I'm taking that as my cue to go read a book or something for a while ☺️ 🍻
@@borislav247 Argh! I just wrote out a long comment only to have a GD ad come up and erase everything!!! WHY TF does that happen now?! It's infuriating 🤬
The gist of what I'd said was: after I finished for the day & resumed the next the wolf packs were back to normal again, was fun while it lasted tho.
After visiting lost lake early & stopping by the camp i decided to take out a couple ambush camps & the sent every survivor to IM's - enabling me to reach trust level 2 before ever stepping foot in lost lake...legally anyway 😂
Finally, in GGGs latest vid when he was talking about needing a respawning ammo supply (or similar to that) I had an "Oh shit! Borislav's been scooped!" type moment! @@MaherAbdullah8 And thank you for that fantastic info my friend. I really hope this one is a constant, as it's one superb early find if it is.
I've played through the game, twice, and am beginning a NG+ on survivor mode. I probably need to watch more of this. I know the axe is only picked up, but for the other weapons, I don't understand how you can buy them so early in the game, without being in NG+. (Repeating 2nd sentence)
Anyway, I think your videos are the bees knees.
Thanks bro
@@markryde9825 Indeed Mark, I think we are on a winner here, lol.
So I'm unable to progress.)
UPDATE: Just to let everyone know, this glitch was NOT related to the proces shown in the video.
@@TonyRush Hmmm, interesting. Are you playing on console or PC Tony?.
THANK U!!
An absolute pleasure mate.
Hello could you do a video on getting best weapons and getting most trust for camps as I’ve just bought days gone
I will be honest, I will be doing a full playthrough where I show the best way of taking on this entire game with every advantage Days Gone gives , but, this won't be happening until next year mate.
18:04 this climb.... took me 6 or 7 tries. the line is so precise.
It is mate. It's the top section of the first climb that is the hard part.
Nice, at some point I'll need to test out that bad boy.
@@borislav247 Try the gas rounds on the Iron Butte Horde ranch. You will be surprised how quickly it takes them out.
Any advice?
Only advice I can give is to make sure you keep the speed up with the bike. I've never had this happen to me yet. Are you playing on a console or PC?.

Hey m8 you should soon do a new run where you get op asap and play though the story and do the side activities! Would love to see it!
@borislav247 well sound very promising and something to look forward for 🔥
When days gone gets too easy Boris finds a way to play the game backwards 😂
Lol, indeed my friend, indeed.
Here we, Go!. This is gonna take me about 4 hours 😄. ipad is propped up and I'm dialed in. Let's get this adventure started ✌️
Nice, I wish you well mate. You will have a blast doing this.
@@petehefferon8192 You've earned the right to unleash my friend, give them hell.
Butte Horde:
I just noticed something.
Some fantastic info there MZ, thank you for that.
@@borislav247 Hey, you're welcome!
How do you guys run and are able to look behind you as the horde is chasing you. I can't find the right setting.
I use a controller mate, so it's all about using the 2 joysticks to do this. Not sure how you would do this though if you are playing this on PC using keyboard & mouse.
Another fantastic tutorial...
Thank you SP, this one is a game breaker.
Thank's Borsman !!

9:40 ish) I could not get the bike to land well here! Tried & died a few times, then I guess the game took pity on me bc I tried, looked like I died but Deek got up with Zero health & a destroyed bike but the game let me stay where I was to heal & fix bike 🎉
EDIT: oh!

Yeah, the Rimview Ranch are a scary horde the first time you encounter them.
@@borislav247 Oh i was so terrified..they came poring out so fast..lol..but i went back later and took them out after i slept..used an easy kill area & that was it.
@@tylerhanlon2014 Very nice mate.

Hi Boris do you think access to plane crash site is available if you could get drugs that would be a lot of trust
Cheers mate 👍
@@borislav247 ok...Thank You...i feel like im not gonna have any trouble with the sawmill horde thanks to you.

How come your Crossbow has tape all over it? Looks cool. Even my starting one doesn't have that?
Thank you, and honestly, I don't know why.
Something very minor. When you first get to Diamond Lake to upgrade the bike you skipped over Nitrous. I followed your guide (second time now as trying to finish whole game no deaths) and Nitrous 1 is available at this point and its even free, you just need to equip. Have a screenshot if you want it.
