Yall are really selling us on Michigan lately! I would love to do a cruise along Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. It looks so beautiful and unique. We would also like to try pasties - and of course, we always love seeing waterfalls and scenic drives too. Thanks for introducing us to Munising, Michigan!

So did you do all the tours and the fun things to do in Munising? Or only the things that you showed us? Just curious, because in my option unless you are going to do them all you can’t really say top five things to do🤷🏻‍♀️ just saying

I'd never go there if I couldn't gather the rocks. Ridiculous.

🎉Pasties are dense...they needed to fill up and fuel the coal miners during their days of work.

We haven't spent much time in Michigan. We will have to check out Munising. My dad is a rock hound. He taught me to identify some, but not enough to be good at it. WOW! They have some great waterfalls. What a beautiful area to explore. Great drives. White fish? Nice. Those meat pies look good. The sunset cruise sounds so nice. Looks like ya'll had a great time. Be safe, Bill and DeAnna

Before we return for an extended time in Michigan TJ wants to become more skilled at rock hounding. He's been watching tons of TH-cam videos about it, particularly around the Great Lakes.

Pasties were a favorite food of Cornish miners that came to work in the Michigan iron and copper mines. They were hearty, kept warm for a ling time, and were easy to pack and go. The food gained attention and was served in the restaurants as part of the tourism revenue.

Dude the colors come from the minerals in the spring water that flows from the rocks. They say it like 4000 times. 😅
