Great review, beautiful guitar love the humbler on the bridge, personally not a big fan of split coil I have a fender with 3 single coils so this would be a nice option 👍
Guitars shouldn’t come out of the box in tune anyways, I’d rather have my neck under no tension during shipping … but anyways I own 26 guitars, 3 are Jets and they are all amazing modding platforms but just fine out of the box too. My js450 plays like butter , just as well as my fenders
Did you try using the trem? Other reviewers seem to be finding major tuning issues related to the design of the Jet own brand trem on the JS-480’s which doesn’t return to pitch.
@@noel997711that’s confusing, because it has Jet branding not Wilkinson on the trem unit and Jet don’t mention anywhere in their description the trem being made under licence by Wilkinson? Elmo Karjillinen has demoed the JS-400 & 480 and the trem on the 480 had major issues that he describes with the aid of a luthier friend. The design faults they describe on the trem are not anything I’ve seen on Wilkinson trem’s before. It will be interesting to see what other reviewers find.
Guitar comes half way around the world and you are surprised its not in tune???????????? Most Jet guitars are out of stock everywhere, shows how good they are i guess, if i want a JT 350 where i live its 2 months minimum, bollox.
3.3 kilos is 7.25 lbs, very nice weight. Stat wise, seems to blow similarly priced squier, Harley, Ibanez, Yamaha, etc out of the water.

Great Demo, Cheers.

In 480 they used Wilkinson WOV2 tremolo. It's better that own in 400.

At 400 bones they should put a coil split.
No coil split?
For hardware mods, have a gander at Guyker parts.
How does it compare to Artist Guitars?
3.3kg is 7.2 pounds. Not a bad weight at all
