About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

We did see it that island and wanted to go bust just not within the budget unfortunately. Maybe next time!
What a gerat exploration day! I love doing this on new countries I visit. - go where local shop and where locals eat. It's the best way to get the vibe and culture of the place. In this episode, you guys made me very hungry. Time to get lunch. 😁
The two half boiled eggs should be stirred and well mixed with a dash or two of dark soy sauce and pepper. You can eat them seperately and/or dip your toast into it.

Hi guys. You can actually travel around Singapore by tapping your credit card when you take public transport. It works on both the mrt train and buses.
It will save the trouble of buying and topping up another card. Hope to see you back again. ☺️

Felt bad you all had to spend extra on this. Next time do check out the Chinatown Complex hawker centre beside the temple. I think it’s one of the largest (if not the largest) hawker centre in Singapore. You will find many yummy eats there. 😊

I have loved every single second of your trip to Singapore, I'd have love to have seen more of the food....even the seafood which Im allergic to but still cook for my other half. Since you guys in Little India, I recommend you guys to go to Mustafa Centre. They sell a lot of stuff at affordable prices..
Remember they’re your special memories .. so treat yourself to some souvenirs .. send them via your mum or someone back home

You had Chinese and Indian food in Singapore, but sadly you didn't have our local Malay food at the hawker centres or check out the Malay community areas here. 😢😢😢

Not sure if you guys had the chance to eat at the street food night. Its been nearly 14 years but they close off the road and all the stalls set up. Stalls 7&8 are the best satays ever. They also serve beer. Our best night in Singapore! ❤️🇦🇺🦘
Little India was my favourite place in Singapore, the food was so good, and SO cheap,
Was such a great experience! Maybe we can go back next time and the food stalls will be open 😂
Hey guys I must say your very likable. Question why we're you on a budget? Like your husband or boyfriend said you only live once. I was there almost 9 months ago though had terrible bad luck. Caught out in a monsoon storm at the botanical gardens so didn't see so much though I did view the orchard gardens where you pay & absolutely fantastic. Also I was suffering from terrible jetlag. Like you I experiencedepression the gardens by the bay only not as much as I would have liked . I saw the tree light show only didn't have time to go into the two large domes go up the super tree & walkway I also forgot all about the harbour light show which is supposed to be amazing. Good news for me I'm back in Singapore in 5 weeks time for a two night stopover & a further two nights when I return home to Australia so have much planned during my time there. Watching you both eating your food had me salivating because I know how good the food is there. One is spoilt for choice & where to eat. Regarding the travel I gave up with bus & train travel. Waiting for the right bus to come along drove me wait & I catch the wrong train even though I was on the right platform so I took the easy way out & caught taxis & why not they were a third of the price than what we pay in Australia & was a huge time saver foe me so didn't much care about the expense. You may have noticed there were as many taxi's as there were cars so I would imagine it is a popular form of travel. Watched both of your videos & will follow you in the future & check out anything else you have done. Thx Gary
Hey Gary, thanks so much for watching! Yesss the food is amazing isn't it! We were on a set budget here as our plan was to travel Asia for 6 months straight, so we couldn't really afford to splurge too much. We hope you have an amazing visit to Singapore in 5 weeks!

The problem with Newton food centre is some of the chilli crab are not up to expectation. If not much meat inside crab means not good. I have had lousy experience before .
I think we definitely choose the wrong crab unfortunately but still a great experience! We will have to head back and find another place to try it next time.
