I ❤️ your sense of humour and also how much detail you go into. Would you suggest a tour guide to get around Arusha town or do you think a solo traveller would be okay walking around alone?

As long as you get taxis or something you will be ok to malls and stuff. But I wouldn’t walk around the town much alone if you stand out like a tourist - if u leave valuables at home it’s ok

@@ArchitectRussell Thanks, that’s good advice. I’m hoping to visit Zanzibar and Dar Es Salaam too, depending on how much I can save up.

4/5 for services was extremely generous...but what's actually quite revealing is the fact that a 5 star hotel had less than impressive service, can you imagine what the services would be like, at other local places?😅

Service is generally slow in most places in Tanzania

Lmao the manager giving you the drivers number instead of calling for you is the most swahili experience ever.. hapa kazi tu as they say
Edit: Hapa kazi tu means something like 'hard work pays off' but is more used in the 'do it yourself' context

Oh I think it was the front desk who did that . I know what you mean. 😬😂
