Both this system and the Smyslov variation can basically shut off black's kingside attack, and both puts a pawn on e3 instead of e4.... Coincidence? I think not :D
Sorry I don't comment as often as I should. Not because what I have to say is important but helping you with algorithm is. 4:32 never dawn on me before but with the queen on d1 you have an improved 5.Qb3 Gruenfeld. 7:43 with colors inverted thats how Lev Alburt used to play against KIA. As always good job and thanks for posting.
Thank you, much appreciated for helping with the algorithm! :) But you should comment more often, the comments are to the point and I think valuable for the other people.
Good afternoon Alex. Excellent video. Keep it up! :0)
Thank you, glad to see you liked it!
Very nice. Keep up the great work! 💪
Thank you!
Always enjoy your simplified openings. Much success in the new season!
Thank you!

Probably not. :)
Another great video. But, if I give up the KID, what should I start studying/playing instead? QGA? Nimzo? (as a Category A player)
Thank you! All of those are good options, as are the Slav and the QGD. Just test them all out and see which one you like best.
