It's an RBTAs Tank NOW. 😅 (45g - 11/10/2019)

- Ever since the beginning of this 45g tank, the theme has always been Clownfish + Sea Anemone. Although the ultimate anemone I had in mind was a Magnificent Anemone due to their size, apparently Bubble-tip Anemone could get to a similar size! So in a way, this tank is simply full-filling it's destiny and achieving it's Final Form...................... but I do miss the space for corals!

Silicon coat your magnets with a super thin coat as long as the magnets you are using are really strong and magnetic. I had rust so I did it myself and haven't had any problems since and it's been well over a year. Good luck.😊

To be fair, since you mentioned the coated magnets, If I recall-correctly they're actually epoxy-coated internally and then dipped in a plastic-rubber polymer on the outside, meaning that two layers (including the epoxy most companies use to "waterproof" powerhead-magnets) have to be penetrated by water for the magnet inside to start rusting.

Funny to think Inappropriate Reefer will soon be very appropriate. I've kinda gone on the same system as you, as long as the corals are happy I don't worry to much about levels, but at the same time I have all the test kits....just never gotten around to using them. Feel like theres definitely knowledge I could be utilizing to better my tank, it's just a matter of becoming proactive instead of reactive. Looking foward to seeing your upcoming videos, it'll give me the motivation I need and once it's something I'm more familiar with doing, doing it will come easy

I am looking forward to your video on Coral Nutrition, as I am having similar issue to you where my Nitrates and Phosphates are at zero. Most of my corals are growing, except the Hammers, Frogspawn, Chalice, and Ricordea. And I recently added two Acros to my tank, along with two Montis, so I really need to get my nutrient levels at a point that will encourage growth in all my corals, and not just my Aussie Lords, Blue Effloutanaria, Starburst Monti, Duncans, Blasto, and my Indigo Mushroom (who just had a baby).

Stop tempting me with new tank build 😂 I’m most likely shutting down the 10g budget build soon, now that the 150g is on its way and we got a Mangrove tank going, so I’ll make an update!

From the front, on the right side in the lower part, what is the neon green thing? I’m very new to reefing, thanks partly to you. I’m hoping our mutual friend has a chance to introduce us at some point this summer. Hint, I’m in Southern Maryland. The last 2 weekends the hubs and I have been been driving to Richmond,VA. Mike at the Tiki has been hooking us like CRAZY. I do hope you remember your crazy fan girl when you start to frag up any of your stuff.

Hey man i got some Frogspawn frags but I probably won’t be shipping since I haven’t tried it and it has gotten really cold here! Good thing is the Frogspawn I got is just your run of the mill ones, you can find the same ones on most online vendors like WWC or LiveAquaria! Have you also tried to link up with local Reefers? That’s where I find the best deals! 👍

Inappropriate reefer, Christmas tree worms never last that long for whatever reason they just don’t after a few months they all die out. This is really too bad because I really like them. I’ve tried over and over for the last 50 years but they never last. I would suggest not spending your money on them again in the future, I am strictly speaking of the Christmas tree worms on corals not tube worms in general.
PS. You need to take out that bubble tip anemone like NOW. Put a smaller heteractis magnifica Anemone in its place.
Just use old power head magnets ...safer and strong as hell
