- Another showcase of luxury and royalty living in the rural South Africa. I visited a small but yet rich village called Rafreddy near Phokeng, North West Province in South Africa. This village and many around them in the Royal Bafokeng community are setting an example of what we mean by development in rural areas. That kind of development which is governed by common goals, share by the community at its traditional leaders. The type of development where traditional leaders play a crucial role in sustaining the dignity, the beauty and values amongst the community and the village. Watch this video and be motivated to make a change in village and most importantly see the rich and luxurious ways on how people in rural South Africa are living.

Lovely village and glad you touched on cleanliness. Plenty of people need to take a cue from this community and lose that absurd mentality of littering because they think the municipality is going to clean up after them. Even pigs take more pride in themselves.

The people of Royal Bafokeng really have a working plan to keep the live stock in one place and keep homes clean and the surroundings. I am impressed. 🙏🏾❤️

Naah Sis V, you can speak about Phokeng because Rafreddy is a section in/ of the greater Ph. Most villages in Rustenburg are like this one, you should visit Monnakato next. We are progressing

Greetings Sis'Velile. Your channel has been so insightful and I'm sure I speak for many when I say it has inspired us to go back to our home villages and build there. That being said, there is always room for improvement. I suggest in future that you interview people from the villages that you are visiting so that they can give context of their villages, how development came about and if the leadership of the village has any plans for development. I think this will add more value and further give us a people from various villages how we can go about developing our villages. Local economic development (especially rural development) is the next big thing and as such it will be nice if you dig deeper into the history and future of the villages you are visiting so that we can also impart the knowledge you are giving us through this channel. You are correct. We have lost our cities and that is why I tell people of South Africa to go back and occupy tribal land, develop it and protect it. We can’t loose out villages too. 🙏🏾❤️

beautiful and organize, some times watching some village in south Africa, you end up asking yourself" what is the difference between rural and urban area ?" , I use to ask myself this question in some township in south Africa but it seem the question is moving to rural areas very fast...
Most of our rural areas are sitting on tribal land which is governed by tribal authority (chiefs and kings). They are developing now and look this good but still our land is controlled and governed by customary law. We answer to our chiefs not to the government on many issues. That’s why villagers don’t wait for government to progress. We save money and do wonders. 🙏🏾❤️

I would like to consult with the leadership about how they managed to get their roads tarred, this is what I want to see here in Mokopane Limpopo
Please do. What I know in most municipalities there is tribal authority office where chiefs gather for meetings and issues like these are discussed with local government. Really it depends on the work our tribal authority out in pushing for roads in out villages. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏾❤️
Leadership in Waterberg district priorities their own goals over the goals of the communities…
Government has neglected us in Limpopo. We produce most minerals. And we have a dam. And yet other provinces are ahead in development.
Everything in Limpopo is purely hard work from Individuals
They don't settle for handouts from municipality nor government. They have their own IEB school Lebone, houses for their mine employees (Estate setup) Waterkloof hill and a new school to run 2022. Unlike other tribes, they own their mines RBplat so financially they are sorted.

My fellow black South Africans.We need protection from anyone who will try and bully us in the village.You know what happened in EC and Phoenix(KZN).We can’t just focus on building we need to get ammunition and teach our women and children how to defend themselves with guns and having black owned Security companies.Ngiyacela I am not promoting violence but you see what happening to us in other places and we need to be tough too not weak.🙏🏽
