Mine was 8.5 years of relationship.and its been 1.5 years after that breakup and I am still trying to move on. I was in depression and almost gave up... That time I had no idea about how to deal with,or parents goal and everything.I was just trying to do every minimal possible thing so that he would stay in my life...I begged multiple times. I cried, i screamed....... But it is what it is...no hate for him. Now I just seriously want to move on. That realization was the breaking point for me.. After 4 months of betrayal without any self worth i texted him and i sensed he is not the same person anymore. I thought i will break down when he replies and i would have lots of things to talk to him but i ended the chat within 5 minutes wishing him good luck. After that i just moved on easily. 😊

I went through this phase during covid ... With zero friends zero outing and zero motivation, i had to quit my job , my father got covid , everywhere there negativity and felt helpless, i couldnt reach him out , tried with 100 other phone numbers to reach him , but was ... U r absolutely 1000% correct. I m moving on after being in a relationship for 25 years….it takes a life time to know a person but still one life is not enough to know everything. It’s tough it’s hard to move on bcoz of our emotions but u have to take a stand n move on n which I m doing. I know it is much tougher to move on , for people with 4 + years of relationship. I was in a relationship for 1.5 years. It still breaks my heart. I really loved my guy. Honestly i was feeling kinda impossible to move on. All the moments we lived together keeps flasing in my mind. Honestly since this pain is so profound, tgat many a times I let down my self respect by calling and messaging him. He used to scold me, disrespect me, but in my mind i had only one thing "but atleast I am talking to him". He called me a leech. I think pain goes away when you do something about it. And the first thing is to ACCEPT it. as long as you keep denying the feeling of pain and keep lying to yourself you would keep revolving in the cycle. Hi people! I was in a 3.5 years relationship. He is an amazing human being no hate to him but during the initial years of our relationship he used to put extreme efforts which faded eventually. I tried to talk it out but he just took it very lightly. That realization was the breaking point for me.. After 4 months of betrayal without any self worth i texted him and i sensed he is not the same person anymore. I went through this phase during covid ... I know it is much tougher to move on , for people with 4 + years of relationship. I was in a relationship for 1.5 years. It still breaks my heart.
I really loved my guy. Honestly i was feeling kinda impossible to move on. All the moments we lived together keeps flasing in my mind. Honestly since this pain is so profound, tgat many a times I let down my self respect by calling and messaging him. He used to scold me, disrespect me, but in my mind i had only one thing "but atleast I am talking to him". He called me a leech. I think pain goes away when you do something about it. And the first thing is to ACCEPT it. as long as you keep denying the feeling of pain and keep lying to yourself you would keep revolving in the cycle. Accept it, feel it for a time and then let it go by realising that Peace is the ultimate luxury.

And now I have lost someone whom I never wanted to lose. Thank you, Lord Shiva and Lord Rama, for the exams and for helping me become tougher through all these losses.
One good thing is that I never liked to read books. I hated reading. But I realized I need a mentor. In the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna helped Arjuna as a mentor during his tough time in the war. So, I started reading the Gita. I think I should just do the right thing and not worry about what I get as a reward.

Edit 2:- Hey guys! Thank you for checking on me. I am much better now, I still do miss him and have occasional breakdowns but I have realised my worth and I never deserved the way he just all of a sudden broke up with me and cheated on me. It's tough, it's very tough, everyday feels like hell in the starting few months, it doesn't even feel real. But trust me things get better, you start realising that the breakup was needed and you do start moving on very slowly but what matters is that you will move
on eventually. I am still moving on from him, i didn't deserve a single thing he did to me at the end and it's tough to accept that someone you loved so much could hurt you in such a level, it's tough to accept that they won't be coming back but it does get better. I believe every relationship and every breakup teaches us something. We don't need to forgive our ex or make peace with the fact that they hurt us so terribly, we just need to accept that they are gone, that chapter of our life is over and it's time to move on from it. For me, moving on is taking a long time but i am sure i will get there sooner than i think. Also love and hugs to everyone going through this terrible and sickening time, it does get better, trust me❤ There is light at the end of the tunnel, you just need to keep your hopes up.
