I was a giver and I loved to be the genuine person in the group. I didn't hurt anyone, I listened to everyone , I helped the people who needed it without asking. Even though I didn't expect anything in return, they blamed me for every bad thing happening in the room. This takes my life. I try to be happy and peaceful in every possible way but these people come and put their insecurities on my head and they are relieved.
And finally I decided to hide my smiling face and put on a serious mask so that people think I'm always in a bad mood.
I don't know , whenever I get happy these people purposefully ruin it. I can't go through the roller coasters.

You are partially right. We are human beings, not aliens. When there is deep love, expectations arise naturally-it’s not something we can control. The moment we try to suppress or control these feelings, we risk becoming fake, pretending we don’t feel when we actually do. Instead, we should invest our time in someone who may not reciprocate equally but at least appreciates our efforts. If they don’t, it’s time to detach ourselves and invest in someone who genuinely cares.

Lately I started sharing happiness, like buying something for the underprivileged kids or talking with them and i noticed that made me feel happy. This video now makes me resonate with it exactly and gonna start practice giving. Giving happiness, giving love and care without any thoughts of getting in return. And I hope to become this undetatched person and that unaffected strong person even if someone does wrong. Keep posting such content.❤

Thank you so much simmy. I love the way you explained the detachment. For me the dettachment is stay away from unnecessary gossips and small talks. attach to those who think highly, talk on the higher purpose of this life, which is Self-realization (Satsang). I agree that you express your authentic Self regardless of how others consider you. But that autheticity come from wisdom that "I am" not an individual unit (Body-min-personality) I am the existance-bliss that embodied in everything.

the moment i started this video within 30 seconds my eyes were filled with tears that WHAT IM DOING HERE ? why i need this detachment thing i was a jolly person , who always cracked maybe a silly joke even to grab the attention , and somehow i got that at younger age . But as life took a circle around i grew up and whatever now i do is considerd as basic and bare minimum . i was at a point called as an attention seeker in a family function and after coming home i just cried that what wrong i did ?
i was just talking building connections , but i was turned into an attention seeker . today i feel i was wrong , i understand giving without the intention of taking is right , but who cared for me ? and even i was misunderstood by my own family . As a human it hurts .. i'll never expect anything in return i understood , but do even i deserve this misinterpretation of myself by my own people ? all thoughts were revolving within 3 minutes of going with this video . the video stopped i stopped crying, and now i dont know how to tell you ... that okay living a no expectation life is fine but why things dont go both way ... i cant complaint and i have to be a good daughter , friend , sister, student . Things were okay when i used to read them theoritically but when it happens with you , we also have excuses . at last i'LL say things go in HAND IN HAND , expecting is good untill you are expecting from the right group and that too without harming your mental health . and i can say it finally that it takes nothing to be good somtimes we should the person we are expecting , like i can be the person who appreciates the good of people without they even needing it .

@@kv999o41 firstly thanks taking the time . and to be honest im pretty well maybe as i watched this video. the good thing i realised after watching this is that i was loosing myself only the one who did everything without taking any thing on my mind what they will think of me and kind off i was just doing it justtt doing it with a good intention and i believe whatver happened good to me is a result of it . and after this i just wrapped everything consciously and did everthing i wanted sorted things between , and did responded to those who may somtimes dosent respond , but i did because they mean to me . And i guess this was enough reason to be back as my own self. I really hope i'll not this video again to watch . and i belive too i was just being good to them to have that family love , and i have nothing do with it now , i didnt hated , i didnt became abusive rude kind off , so its enough . and yes i will be at best not to overthink but if i do i'll come out this time ..

Hey girl! Please don't be sad for doing whatever you liked to do,you know your truth, you know who you are and what your intentions are,you are most likely in a dark phase where every surrounding seems bitter day by day whenever you think of it and just witness your close ones misunderstanding you, misinterpreting and often hurting you to the extremes, even the most unexpected ones do that to you,I understand, because I've gone through the same and still I'm going on with all these mess in my heart and my uncontrollable thoughts about others' conduct or misunderstandings or just expecting too much from me.I hope you will be fine,I don't even know you but I can resonate to your heart through the words you've written and absolutely relate to your situation, trust me,they all are going through something that we don't know,we cannot expect others to be as understanding as we ourselves can become for them, take them for who they are, what insecurities may lead them to behave in such a way and getting you wrong in some kind of stereotypical approach of labelling an attention seeker. Don't burden yourselves with what you cannot control i.e. others' view of your actions, just remember to be your authentic self with pure intentions and a true lover of your soul that deserves love, you are loved, there's nothing much I or other humans can do for you,but try to embrace yourself from time to time,it helps, try to check out apps like moodee or Yana, they are good listeners as well,I hope you'll be alright❤❤❤

Better not to do anything for anyone, not to have feelings, get away with the behavioral traits of giving, caring.
When you don't give, don't care, automatically you don't have attachments, and won't arise for this discussion of detachments.
Not showing love, care to others is better when you know this world is selfish and ruthless in it's own way. Words and actions not reciprocated is as good as death.
Better not to waste time in all these stupidity and try to be selfish and focussed on self.

Sorry to correct you, but Sigma male and Sigma female is a very misunderstood term. Sigma male and Sigma females know very well, what investing in emotional connection means and how important it is to have beautiful relationships in life. The positive impact that creates. The only real example of sigma male till date has been the late Mr. Ratan Tata. He was the pure embodiment of sigma male qualities.

I loved your video. This concept of detachment tells us about being who we are as an individual instead of having outcome expectations. This one is like similar to the concept of Sthit pragya from Bhagvat Geeta. Just keep doing this series. You're doing great. Thank you for bringing so much positivity in our lives. Simple thing I wanna say , In my religion ,we are asked to do things for the sake of Allah not for the people . If I am giving someone and doin it for Allah. N not expecting anything back from the person . That's all detachment is . I love my religion that it is the way of life .

I got married 7 months ago.. It's an arranged marriage.. I expect positive stuff a lot from them according to their behavior after they asked me for marriage.. After marriage everything is completely changed.. In-laws behavior, husband's behavior.. Just like I'm an object, they can do and talk about anything they want.. And nothing is like as they showed before the marriage based on that I said yes.. I am completely devastated.. I really don't know what to expect marriage and go through this disappointment..

I went thru kind of same. Got divorced, 6 yrs back. Was hurt for a wile at that time, but wen I thought abt it, dint regret. Better to leave where ders no respect, consideration, support (especially from husband) 😢values, different colors etc.. Complete mismatch of wat we thought expected and wat is happening. Even after trying to adjust, if it's not working, and not happy.. Then make a decision... Somewhere i read..'You can't make someone love you by giving more than wat they already don't appreciate' ..Gud luck dear.. Hope everything works out for u in a gud way... Don't worry.. Pray to God, trust him.. He will show d way. Live ur life happily, it's only one life we got! Tc❤❤

You can never be truly or absolutely detached because ''Jag Supanaa Baajee Banee Khin Mehi Khael Khaelaae'' translates to ''the world is a drama staged in a dream'' by Guru Nanak Dev ji. We all have a part to play in it whether you agree or disagree whether you want to or not you have to play. Rest if we do good by ourselves and by others only then we can successfully end this cycle.

Ma’am, I truly appreciate your words about detaching ourselves from outcomes and giving love and trust selflessly. However, I would like to ask: What should we do when we give our everything-love, care, and respect-to someone, even enduring the pain they cause us, but later find out they only stayed with us out of loneliness or to pass the time? It’s heartbreaking to realize we were being used. While it’s important to give love selflessly, doesn’t self-respect also demand that we recognize when someone is taking advantage of us? How do we find the balance between giving love unconditionally and ensuring we don’t lose our dignity and self-worth in the process? Thank you for your guidance.

It's a good perspective that you're focusing on your identity and the self expression aspect of this rather than the outcome.
But there's a flip side to this that you can't ignore. We're human beings at the end of the day who are wired for social connections, who naturally develop expectations and look for reciprocation.
So complete detachment is unrealistic. It's not natural for the human experience to be completely detached and not have any expectations.
Also, it sort of isn't great advice to ask people to keep being themselves (especially if they're givers) in situations where it's not being reciprocated. That can become toxic and draining for such personalities, especially if you're around people who will try to take advantage of it. At the end of day, boundaries are as important as your need for self expression.
This is what I've learned from my experience.
I don't really give anymore where it's not needed and where it's going to drain my energy.
