Awesome plane! After owning a couple certified aircraft, I too have switched to the experimental. I just spent the day in the hangar doing upgrades and speed mods. So cool to not have to call my A&P or IA to get something signed off.

Love it! It’s pretty simple and makes flying in the flight levels so much more comfortable. I highly recommend
Hows insurance compared to the Cirrus?
Very expensive. 50k per year on the evolution.
Warbird pilots. Warbird pilots don't need no stinkin cupholders. They use buckets to carry their huge...well...extra courage.

You don’t need to fly across Russia to fly around the world. Get a ferry tank for the long leg from Hawaii to California.
