@@JacksonsLegendary It use to be filmed live which is the crazy part. They must’ve stopped after season 2. I agree though, after years of not being seen on TV or at least Disney the very least they could’ve did was chose a better applause sound and not have it weirdly fade out like it does here.

0:08 I can't imagine what audiences felt when they first saw Tanya's return but I guess it caused more than a couple of excited jaw drops. Hopefully it won't be 17 more years till we see her again.
It was a laugh track but they need to start fliming in a live audience again
She was actually caring for her mother who was sick at that time. She said that she tried having her mom on set for awhile but it didn't work out so she decided to leave the show. She didn't technically quit acting, but there wasn't just a good time to return.

I'm so happy she was able to come back! I know Raven teased it when the season began but its so good to actually see it happen. I don't know if there will be another season but I am grateful we got to see Tanya again.

like for example, a few years ago, my dad, sister and I were willing to go up to Toronto at night cuz our oldest sister was in labour earlier than expected. and vice versa, she said she was willing to drive down as well when she heard my dad was in the hospital *if* she had known about it earlier. 😬😬
It's most likely because they either didn't want to fit it into the storyline, she couldn't guest star because of her schedule, or the actress didn't want to come back yet.

I'm so happy that she finally came back! The show didn't feel the same without her!
I only watched the original show in passing, but I was aware that Tonya went a way to London to study law (bizarre plot twist in itself). She seems oddly detached from her daughter and her husband for someone who has been away in another country for years. No excitement from either side. Did they divorce or "romantically" end their relationship, because I don't sense any passion at all.
Hasn't Tanya been studying abroad since the days of Corie in the House? That's like already decades ago.. she should've been done with her studies by now
Because there was an episode where Cory was a pedo and the parents blamed each other for what Cory has become and decided to separate.

I see many comments with people asking where Cory and Eddie are. The two actors who played those characters have been in legal trouble and will most likely never be allowed with Disney again. I highly doubt Cory and Eddie will return to That's So Raven or Raven's Home.

Honestly, always thought it was weird how they just wrote the mom out of it the show. Even how they handled her departure with Cory in the House-which tbh, Cory didn’t need a spin off, but I was a part of the OG crew that watched Raven for Raven and her hilarious antics.

Orlando Brown has also gone through troubles, and many say he lost his mind. I doubt either of them will be allowed back into Disney on screen. It could be cool if Cory appeared, but I highly doubt it will happen."

Her return is good, but I do not like how they are having her and Victor go to England. Why not have her stay in San Fransisco. And why was she still across seas anyway after seventeen years. This decision only makes sense if T'Keyah doesn't want to do the show beyond just guest role to give some resolution to the character, but if not I wish she could be on the show full time or even just recurring where we see her every OTHER episode. But her being in England, even at this point of her life seems too far-fetched. Victor certainly has no business leaving because he is the only father figure Booker has in his life now since Devon is not in the picture and this will just have Raven back where she was in Chicago before Chelsea came along which is a single mom raising two kids alone. I do hope we do not lose Victor in Season 6 and I want them to include Tanya in the mix.

I'm glad how they handled her exit. Apparently, her mother was sick and she was her caretaker and someone from the show would stay with her mother while she acted but I think her condition must have gotten worse and she had to quit to take care of her.
