100% agree on the blitz doctrine nerf, I think its very well done. Agree that SKD needs a minor nerf, and that the retribution that develops two retributions needs to be changed. I also think the 2k order for brit air should only give +1+1, and I think snowstorm should cost 2k. I am curious though about One Roof. As someone who has piloted the deck to top 34 I really don't think that making one roof not able to make your kredits go higher than 12k is the issue. Chaining 3 together, each lets say giving you 8k, is more than enough to win the game, and you can (and usually do) make plays in between each one roof.
Love this sort of feedback. Honestly I’m not sure the change to One Roof is ideal. My aim was in effect limiting each one to a specific cap on gains might slow down the ability to snowball hard as you’d need to calculate each spend down vs the next set of cards you want to play to account for how much you actually gain on each 1R play. As at a 12k cap each one can only realistically reliably gain you 7k assuming you can wait long enough to make it proc at 4 lost slots. All that said I consider myself proficient with the deck and would be interested as to your thoughts on pitching the nerf at the right level?
Came here from your collab vid with Jking which was great! Glad to find another kards creator on youtube that I like. This video is good stuff, I pretty much agree with the balancing direction you propose. I do really hope Soviets get some love in the future and I hope it's not covert-focused. Covert as a mechanic is good, but as an archetype? Hate that. I've been fussing in my notes over the idea of a Soviet archetype based around Stand Together which I think could be great fun. Honestly had more fun coming up with homebrew cards for that than I have had actually playing soviets.
I definitely agree Bear that they shouldn’t nerf Brit Air, the deck is good but not overpowered like SKD or Blitz Doctrine decks. Plus if they nerfed Brit Air then people would just go back to playing the really unfun British decks like Push OTK.
Its where I am at right now. There are some minor tweaks to consider to be sure (shark is a bit good) but overall its just a good playable upper tier brit deck for me
I find all the discussion of SKD interesting because as someone outside the Officers Club I find the 1-2 Finnish unit that gets +1/+1 when you do...anything interactive with the battlefield a thousand times more toxic. Literally ends my game if opponent puts this down turn 2 and my answers are sitting middle of deck. I can't play while they have complete freedom of action. I don't doubt for a minute at more "elite" level SKD is a big issue of course.
The Sissosasto are very strong if they get going. The only reason they aren’t likely to see a fix (even though I would very much like to see a shift to only triggers on one of the two conditions) is that they are so vulnerable to removal.
One Roof is even more insane than you explain because often you can use a one roof for +6 or +8 and then play 1 or 2 kredit destruction cards before your second one roof. I've used this to win games on SKD with 0 kredit slots left which is very silly.
Yeah I felt the urge to keep myself from going too far down the rabbit hole in this, as I could have probably kept on One Roof exposition for a whole video in itself. I have also done this, and been on the receiving end. Its truly nuts!

So the thing that I was pointing out was just bad was the design of Yank and the Retribution that “Develops 2 Retributions”. Sadly TH-cam seems to have issues with sound compression that I have not been able to fix so far. Sorry about that! Also I’m so hyped that folks around the world are catching my content. So cool

Generally playing good old Ranked is the way forward as it does award the most xp.
