The problem is typically due to a faulty ribbon cable, and I'll show you exactly how to replace it to get your system up and running again. This repair applies to models prior to 2012, which use a 32-pin connection ribbon cable.
For those with 2012 and newer models (featuring Blu-ray screens), you'll need a different 64-pin connection cable. Unfortunately, this video does not cover that process, but stay tuned for more tutorials!
