  • We accidentally booked luxury bus tickets from Penang to Kuala Lumpur. We paid about $8 USD per ticket and they were worth every penny! Would you travel by luxury bus in Malaysia?

@@JackandGabExplore I beg to differ. I have drove along this North-South highway many times and on numerous occasions, I have seen this long distance express buses involved in accidents often with fatalities as most of these bus drivers are on drugs and lack of sleep. So most of these drivers will drive like speed hogs on the highways. Take the KTM ETS Kommuter train service next time, it's lot more safer, faster and comfortable.

Well yeah, Billion star express is like one of the comfortable buses in Malaysia, it has a tablet that can play a game, watch a movie and listen to music however the tablet doesn't really work that good cause of the ads when watching a movie. if I'm not mistaken the bus's seat also has a simple massage feature. If you really want the best travel feeling with bus should have gone for Aeroline quite pricey a bit.

Hi Jack and Gab! I think you should try to visit Terengganu. It takes about 5-8 hours of journey from Kuala Lumpur if you go there by bus. In Kuala Terengganu which is the capital city of Terengganu, you could go to Chinatown or called as "Kampung Cina" by the locals and the new iconic Drawbridge of Kuala Terengganu. Talking about local food, you guys definitely should try Keropok Lekor and Nasi Dagang which are my favourite foods as well. Besides that, there is a place in Terengganu called Tasik Kenyir. I recommend you guys to go there as yall can enjoy the nature and scenery of the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia and water activities provided at there. The good news is you guys can stay there for a couple days as there are few options of accommodation such as land chalet, floating inn and even houseboat.
Furthermore, we also have stunning beaches in Terengganu which are Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang.
Anyway, I wish you guys have a really great tour which is full of excitement and joy in Malaysia.
Btw, I really enjoy your Vlog. Have a nice day!

That's not a luxury bus in malaysia, that's a standard coach bus nowadays. I've taken a few real luxury busses such as solitaire in malaysia where its single cocoon seating and its really good. You guys should try it out one day.

The bus station in Penang Island is called Sungai Nibong bus terminal which is not in Georgetown. You should get a Grab or Taxi to Sungai Nibong instead where there is buses to Kuala Lumpur.

Hi there. We are planning our SEA trip for Nov 2023. We are watching your videos to get up to date with all the info. Thanks. I see you guys do take taxis to get around in Malaysia and Thailand. If you guys have tips on how to hail taxis or rides over there, that would be so helpful. Thanks again.
