I think because Malaysian could communicate in English and that makes it easy to interact with the locals. And generally Malaysians are friendly people. Just my two cents.

Melaka is my MOST favorite city in Malaysia. I'm Malaysian living in KL and travel to Melaka few times a year. You got everything there, the food, the people, the history, the views and the list is endless.

MALACCA is amazing place.We really enjoyed our stayed for a couple of days.
Im literally here right now. I love history, museums and libraries so this place is perfect for me. Went out to check all the top rated museums here for the whole day then the river cruise. Ended my day with tons of food in Joker street!

I'm from melaka and I grew up in the village in the video (kampung morten) now I live in KL, I know every shortcut to go to the town and jonker by walking... I'm glad you visit Melaka.
Such a lovely couple who we adore following now . Although we are in our 40s we feel young lol . We are actually taking a coach from kl to Melaka for 2 days as part of the trip . Many thanks and happy new year to you both . Ps the prices are so Cheap compared to London where we live. 😊👍🇬🇧
enjoy your trip to melaka. Evening cruise is nice. There are decent little cafes by the river that you should go to...✌
Not worth money the river cruise..too expensive.. Even local won't ride on.. But you can check out the Dinner in the Sky..worth the experience.. 😂
The only things if you guys travel to Malacca... May try the chicken ball rice, satay celuk, sweet deserts/dishes (by Nyonya ppl) which is full of flavors and fragrance.
Hi beautiful people 😄 welcome to my country. I would like to suggest for you to try a little café called " The Daily Fix". It's my favourite Cafe in Melaka. Try their salted egg yolk pancakes. Yum! Have fun!
