- Throughout this spring I made multiple fishing trips to take full advantage of the wam weather. Travelling light and covering several venues with the goal being to catch as many carp as I could.

Next time you have the opportunity to question a dog walker that’s picking up there 4 legged friends do do , try throwing in a question or three like “where did that come from” or “what you going to do with that” lol 😂
Mate you want to try living here in Germany for a bit, you think the dog walkers are hard work in the UK. Here catch and release is illegal, animal cruelty, you can only fish to kill and eat and it's illegal to target a species you do not wish to. The dog walkers love this, forever hating anglers but happy leaving their crap everywhere and rubbish even and always reporting fisherman, watching you and all sorts. Of course we do not kill carp, we just be careful who's around and try find quiet lakes, luckily there are so many forest lakes here most unfished or very little and packed with fish, just a shame these people do not understand that putting fish back isn't bad, they all say they die after being put back n all sorts. We continue to fight for Change but as for dog walkers n their poo bags and attitudes, this battle will last forever

I always weigh if they look close to the 30lb mark. If not I just guess, as long as they look nice I’m not fussed on the weight.
You say you don't want to publicize the lakes yet you clearly show key monuments that are adjacent to the lakes 🤔 it certainly doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out where your fishing
I take as much time as possible in both the filming and the edit remove any parts that give too much away. I understand your point and I will do my best to be more discreet in future films.

Carp fishing has become hugely congested in recent years with many lakes up and down the country turning into packed soulless holes in the ground .
Some of the lakes that Jacob features in this film are or certainly were hidden gems with very little angling pressure ( off the radar so to speak ) what I and others are concerned about is that our last bit of peaceful angling will be jeopardized just for TH-cam views and clout .
These videos massively inspire other Angler's to do the exact same thing and inturn create over populated banks and unwanted poaching
Its great that fishing is finally getting a boom of young blood the next generation instead of miserable old fucks that think they have more of a right to fish a place than anyone else. if a fishery really cares it will never be constantly packed majority of the time its down to anglers to follow the rules and respect the venues . A huge problem lies within the environmental agency not having enough manpower carrying out regular maintenance and checks my local lake has become a haven for Eastern Europeans taking fish daily still the environmental agency don't do daily checks i also recently visited Hanningfield reservoir to find exactly the same issue on a much larger scale if there's no outcome for these individuals they won't stop . Plus you will find half of these park lakes in this video your not even allowed to fish

@@jacoblondoncarper4857 the mouth on the fish buddy at 6 mins in, its a sign of where its been caught to many times, mouth is so small and deformed.
How do you expect Jacob to know if the fish is in good shape or bad before he gets it onto the bank? I think the special care and attention he shows for each fish caught is proof enough he’s doing everything he can to make sure each fish is released in as good a shape as possible!
