In order a big gun wanna be fitted in a small tank. You must make it a tank destroyer and remove turret system
Soviets: no **make a huge box turret for KV2**
British: no **put the gun in sideway**

Good day to you all, this is a very educativ video and please do more such videos.
I have an idea , why dont you make the experience of WOT to be like enjoyable like the one from GTA for exemple, Haveing a GREAT map , and everysingle one of the player base situates at a certain location ( Home - Garage ) etc. And in the end I would recomand makeing missions related to our tank history like in COD MWII , but playing the TANK role and imagine how the experience would be with GTA mechanics and all that like a story mode , just think about it @World of Tanks Europe ;)

"sir! The 17 pounder won't fit!"
    "Put it in sideways!"
    "The radio won't fit!"
"Cut a hole in the back of the turret and stick it in there!"
    "The engine's no good!"
***"Get 5 car engines an stick em together!"***

It would be great to give firefly better damage per shot, as you mentioned, the 17 pounder was one of the biggest british guns and it has got just 150 damage in game. Thats just a joke

Why wouldn't America try using an 18 pounder cannon on its sherman tank? Even though they knew that the 18 pounder gun had a more lethal impact than their 75 mm gun?

The US felt that the new US guns would do the job. For the weight and size of the 17pr, the US felt that for the next generation of tank the 90mm (As found on M36 or M26) was quite satisfactory. The 76mm was much more suitable for inclusion in the Sherman turret, as it was smaller, half the weight, and still considered good enough to deal with enemy tanks. (That it still had limitations with some of the German heavy vehicles was discovered too late). The US 76mm Sherman and the UK Firefly both hit the field at about the same time, being ready for introduction in Normandy.
In effect, the two different nations had different perspectives on what they wanted in a tank. Neither was particularly 'wrong', both suited their respective nations' priorities and logistical situations.

If the so called firefly was soooo great then why wasn't it adopted and developed further for use .....it was over gunned and thoroughly unpractical
