  • Switzerland is within a tough neighborhood, but when you see the income taxes around it the question arises why is there such a huge difference, and why Switzerland has such lower Income taxes compared to its neighbor's.

Based on what I heard from the video, the salaries in Switzerland are the highest in the world for majority of the professions from Lowest level to median level or even 70th percentile. With only a 10% income tax the average earner gets to take home more than his / her counterpart in the US or some of teh richer European countries. Overall I would say you are better off.

10% income tax is not low. It's decent compared to most of the modern "civilized" countries ruled by communists but you can pay much lower taxes in some other countries.
You can pay zero income tax in UAE, 1% small business tax in Georgia (no VAT for income below $150.000/year), 0-1% patent tax in Russia, 4% simplified tax in Kyrgyzstan and 5% in Armenia.

Hey Rahul understand that a good salary depends on your expenses, for some 3000 USD per month is enough for some even 15,000 USD per month is not enough, if you have special skills & experience you will earn a good salary everywhere Canada, Germany, Switzerland does not matter. I would propose rather then to run after good salary in different countries, complete your studies with good grades and earn experience which will lead to a higher salary automatically.
