Some GDR citizens tried to break out of the Iron Curtain, risking their lives. Nina Hagen had to leave the GDR. Even the communists didn't want anything to do with her. She started out as a completely harmless pop singer with “You forgot the color film”. As a professional opera singer, she obviously has something to offer in terms of her voice. She is already a legend.

Nina is the Godmother of Punk and also from East-Germany like Rammstein. She's an educated opera singer therefor her incredible wide range of her voice. She's really mad but in a good way.
