Jeesh after this documentary I am actually glad they parted ways. People who feel this uncomfortable around eachother DONT belong in the same band together. I mean, if I could feel the tension between everyone just by watching everyone interact and some of the glances, I mean, just imagine to be in the drama. I love old Nightwish, but I love new Nighwish also, and I'm glad everything is going good for everyone now.
Whenever Marcelo is around, Tuomas just stands there silently staring at the floor or the wall. You can tell Tuomas really hates him.
I had no idea Tarja got so nervous before the start of a show, it shows that she really took her performances seriously.

and i didn't know that he smoke THAT much!!
At the end of part 3 the "3 things that sucked big time on tour, by Tuomas" had three lines of text, while @2.22 "3 things that sucked big time on tour, by Tarja" had a whole screen's worth of text XD
I thought it was pretty cool that James Kottak from The Scorpions came to visit them and give them a bottle of wine.
Targa has very little interaction with the rest of the guys and her husband just looks like a hanger on groupie

Man, they are so fearfull right before the show, its probably the wrong word, but they are so concentrated and serious.
Compare them with the guys from Equilibrium 2 mins before the show :D

When Tuomas was standing in front of the fan at the beginning of the video he looked kind of sad and depressed. I could be wrong though and it may just be nerves. Having to stand up in front of a lot of people and perform music would make anyone nervous.
Also can people stop with the whole pretending you actually know what went on here? you don't know them, you weren't there. Leave it be and stop assuming things about them. these are people, not fictional characters in a book.

I m wathing all 4 videos of this series. ok. Tuomas is so much in love with her... Oh my god, it's ;ike in the movies, he's so depressed...
They never called her a bitch. The problem was that Tarja and the band weren't talking anymore as she refused to travel with them. She showed up 15 minutes before gigs and then left quickly just after, as you can see in the later parts of the documentary. She told Tuomas she could quit anyday, and only wanted to do one more album and no more tour. She also complained about touring in Australia and the U.S because they weren't making enough money there to her liking...
......and she is right at 1:48 excited
@antonsdefrancua (next) No, I'm sad because Nightwish lost something, which is irreplaceable. Tarja is irreplaceable. A new singer just can ... I don't know how, how can I say that.. I mean, she will never completly replace Tarja, because, since she was a part of Nightwish, if you put something else on the place of the old part, it's not good.. Huh, I don't know how explain, but I know that you understand. Bah, you certainly heard it, already. So, that's my opinion.

@@SwmpMonstr people blame him for being the reason as to why Tarja became separated from the rest of the band, and ultimately led her to get fired, which I find is probably accurate but not for the reasons people think. I don’t find Marcelo to be such a bad person. He was the one who saved tarja from the attack in Mexico and comforted her while she cried after it happened backstage after only having known her for 9 days. Who knows what really happened between them, maybe marcelo made tarja realize how unfairly she was being treated, but it’s really exhausting to see people constantly pinning tarja as the “bad guy” for marrying him. Maybe the reason why she spent more time with him instead of the band was not because he was deliberately keeping her away from them, but because she felt safe with him and much more comfortable than she did with a group of guys who make cruel jokes about her and constantly alienate her and ignore her. But sure let’s just blame Marcelo for everything.

@crimrose back to Marcelo, yea he must have pissed the guys off, but still think disliking someone doesn't give the right to bitch him like that.. Btw some say (I don't say nor think it's ur case) he's been controlling her, but she loves him, chose him, I mean, she's an intelligent woman, there's a moment when everyone must admit that she is able to think, she knows what she does and isn't manipulated imo.
@PingouinBleu1 They didn't talk about serious things and about Nightwish future.
@crimrose I agree with some of your points of view, but I gotta say, about when you said "to them NW was more than a band", I think you must get Tarja in this "them", if you know what I mean, 9 years of music is something important, she also said she always kept NW as a priority in her life. But I don't wanna debate on that cuz they both gave their version of the story, you can have a different opinion, we can't change that.

The guys of nightwish seem a lot more culturally arrogant then tarja, just saying
1.15 to 1.17 so great operatic voice! and the trino voice great! at 1.38!!! :O
It really isn't. But it's ok, I'm just spoiled by listening to the real opera singers.
Tuomas looks miserable every time he is seen 😢. Completely withdrawn.

the only conversation that tuomas and tarja had in this documentary was at 3:31, that reflects the environment of that time in nightwish, so sad, thanks to marcelo cabuli.

@crimrose Anyway it's over, they broke, are at their best (imo Tarja more x3) and that story have change 'em. In a good way for Tarja, for NW I dunno I didn't search further. Sometimes it's good to wonder what would have hapenned if it was Tuomas who had fired Tarja but if Tarja had left the band, as she was about to do after the next album. To imagine the consequences and the subject of the talks we all are having nowadays... I wonder if it'd be extremly different.. Hard to know ^^
yea it's obvious that he wanted her...but then again I mean can you blame him. She is what you call an easy lover. .Befoe you even know what happened..your in love with her and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it. I don't blame him one bit for how he probably felt but he they should have been adults about it and squashed there differences and made up. Something tells me they might have had a secret fling before no one knew about and he couldn't forget it and she did.
@EthanR666 why couldn't they talk? A talk is two people or more exchanging their opinions, how could Tuomas, how could anyone of us could have known how Tarja would have reacted to his accusations? I mean if you don't try you can never know... Her husband has nothing to do with that, they're married since a long time ago already. Why didn't Tuomas try to stop anything bad before it happened? Ya know what I mean

Her attitude didn't help the situation. Between her and her husband, the band made a good decision by letting her go.

@PingouinBleu1 The problem is that that the band could not say anything to Tarja without her throwing it back at them in their faces. It's her husband which made her behave differently around them. It is Tarja's own fault aswell as her husband's for acting like they did, which is why she got fired.
@crimrose Marcelo isn't so involved, yes he is, but not that much IMO. Think about the reasons Tuomas gave in the letter to fire Tarja: things like cultural differences and whatever... How can you use a reason such as cultural differences to accuse smb? It's not a worthy reason, is it? They both do have their part of guilt, and yes the best was to break the band, but here we have another problem: the way it hapenned. It's something else.

But look at Tuomas's face, sometimes, he looks anxious, and Tarja is just near, I can understand that he's too anxious to talk with her about this fucking mistake, that he has done after Helsinki's concert. But hey life is life, don't be coward (yeah ok it's too late..). Now he didn't talk, he did the mistake, and lot of fans are sad. Personnaly, I'm not sad for Tarja, because her solo career is great!
