I'm glad that they updated that system. I had the bike last year for 6 months (sent the bike back because of poor production) and Seatpost was very annoying.

I care about my own bike more than anyone’s else. Not sure anyone outside the TdF peloton need to think about the gear pro’s use. It’ll all trickle down to us eventually once proven good by the pro’s - like the focus on aero vs weight and broader, tubeless tires.

This bike was really easy to assemble th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

    • @banjo7127

It’s supposed to be much ‘n such the same however apparently in the peloton there is widespread view that Specialized has a marginal advantage over the rest.

The bike and the rider only matters on individual time trial. That’s where the marginal gains of the bike matters paired with the rider makes a difference.
Riding side by side with a peloton. The bike doesn’t matter much

Do we have bots trying to sell crap even in the cycling video comments? Thank God I have two Canyons! They are way cheaper than Specialized, super durable, better warranty and thanks to the superior aerodynamic Van Der Poel is winning everything! Canyon bikes are so fast that they should be allowed on highways!

@@Anon.User.602 It definitely an iconic bike. Personally it’s my least favourite frame aesthetically however I don’t doubt it’s a very good frame 👍🏼
However for 99% of cyclists the supposed minor advantage (if it’s not a placebo in the pro ranks or a marketing rumour) would be indiscernible.
