EF Education is using the Hi-Mod frame just due to durability and stiffness. They just have the Lab 71 badge to promote the Lab 71 model but the UCI sticker lists it as CANN-S6HM which is for the Hi-Mod.
Cannondale Lab 71 was the hottest bike. Waxed my chains for many years, now I get more time/mileage out of my chains by using Squirt. Thanks for sharing!!
It's really not sensible for a bike shop to do this. It's significantly slower than a crock pot and it takes up a lot of floor space in a shop. But even crock pots don't make sense for shops solely due to frequency needed. It makes a lot more sense for people to drip wax at home or do their own hot waxing vs the time wasted to bring a bike to a shop and come back to pick it up for this service. I get people getting a bike zinged up for a big race but even that's better done with full submersion. This is really a tool best used by people that don't wanna deal with a normal hot waxing but have the money to not mind buying this thing.
Yes, you can use 11-spd chainrings with a 12-speed Shimano groupset - the only caveat is that chainring spacing is slightly different (the 12-speed chainrings are marginally closer together), though, so you might need to adjust your front derailleur, and there's a slightly increased chance of dropping your chain.
@@bikeradar i mean usung the 11s chainring on a 12speed crank not groupset. I know that chainrings are not the same and wondering in the featured bike how did they install an 11s chainring on 12s crankshaft
@@rommelreyes2209 Ah ok, well both 11-speed and 12-speed 4-bolt shimano chainrings share the same BCD (bolt circle diameter), so technically they'll fit fit fine as long at the pronounced ridges on the outside of the rings/crank arms don't interfere with each other. Does that answer the question?
Nice video! Just one thing I am not sure about is the Roval Rapide cockpit. The website says that the smallest size available is a 38cm wide bar! So it must be that instead of a 36 👀
Possibly, though Specialized could simply be making a custom size just for the Remco/other pros - we often see pro riders with custom variants of products that aren't available to the general public. Cheers for watching, Simon
Yes, we spotted that too but we haven't been able to get any more info on them at this point - no doubt Specialized will announce them soon. Cheers for watching! Simon
BananaWax Drag & Friction TDF Pro Chain Wax Or Silca Pro Chain Wax I Expect, but Some Teams use Oil on there chains maybe to save weight, that's the only thing I can think of, as they have every piece of kit available, waxing a chain wouldn't take long so guess it's team preference.
You, no bike shop is gonna want this taking up floor space. Plus it's far slower than a hot dip. And a crock pot on the bench is annoying enough as is. *It could be free and I wouldn't want it in my work area.
We've not had a chance to fully test the new Madone yet, but we did feature the Lidl-Trek team bikes in one of our other videos from this year's Tour - you can watch that here: th-cam.com/video/viMABR1fvgg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bniH2pQITJFoaN2B Cheers for watching, Simon

Nice attention to detail with your no nonsense review. Please keep this format. Thank you.
Great presentation - thank you!

Nice vid. Frame sizes as well as weight would be nice. Thanks
2:22 I hope they still close the valve of the rear wheel!
ps: great footage, lovely bikes, good content.
Bike shops should get these machines and add it as a service.

So the 11s chainring is compatible with 12s cranks?

No Wout’s Cervelo S5?
The van Rysel with a paint job like the factor's would be my choice.

FACTOR is the most attractive in my personal opinion
Cannondale Super 6 was the one.
*the heaviest one
On-bike waxing? I'm afraid to ask the cost on that... but love the idea, and would mean one less work station in my bike lair.

It only takes a half hour? Stop talking, take my money!🙃

“We’ll measure his cockpit.”
Why do they hold the bikes from the rear and push them away instead of manually doing it themselves during tours?
Vhere i new trek maddone 8 slr ?
how about a fully automated drive train cleaner and lube or wax system?
liked Factor. To me nicest looking bike…
