Hey, thank you for posting this. I’m haven’t seen this particular part removed on TH-cam yet so I snapped it up. I’ll probably have to take that part off someday.
Hey, can you please make a video about push starting the Cub, i.e. when the battery happens to be low charge and can’t be started with the ignition button. Thank you! ☺️
Tip, lubricate the plastic clips with silicone spray. It wil help you from breaking the clips. Drive nice but the shocks are garbage. Changed the back with adjustables. Cut the heel shifter and enlarged it with 3cm. Lifted the front of the seat 45mm, preventing sliding forwards surtenly with braking. Mounted othe mirrors. On the list, bigger tires, but hesitate the new size what can fit? More volume air can absorb bad roads to.
@@Watnuweer thank you for the comment and the tip about the silicone. When you say you cut the heel shifter, did you just literally cut the metal and remove the heel?
@@Watnuweer Sorry to bother you again, I want to make a video about how to remove body panels. When you say you use the silicone spray, what is your method? Spraying it on before attempting to take them off? Or before putting them back on? Thanks for clarification!
Is your handlebar stiff or can you wiggle ist a little bit when trying to wicgle it up and down on both sides? my one seems to have some play....wondering if its normal.
@@stevenator22 I just went into my garage and checked when I tried to wiggle it up and down it kind of just rocks the bike so if you think there is extra play, you might wanna try to tighten it down when you get the top handlebar cover off

Thank you for this. You've saved me a good few hours of frustration, not to mention the lives of countless plastic clips. Thanks again!
@@Robinsbro17 Glad someone was helped out!!!! The reason I do it!
Very clear and well made video. Good humour too! Thank you.
@@edwardsp1916 thank you!!!! I appreciate the kind words! 🙏
Nice! Was debating on swapping out the usdm signals for eu/jdm versions. This little tutorial makes it not seem too difficult :D
Someone on the FB group has done it. As long as you don’t have to start cutting into electronics then it would be a breeze!
You don’t need a garage if you have an open plan kitchen PS your landlord 😂 won’t be happy at all
@@dkaloupis75 there’s nothing in the lease the prohibits it and I’m taking precautions to keep the floor safe! 😂
Tks!

I would love to do this! Trying to figure out the best way to do it on video!

I cut it and weld 3cm extra, for more room with my big feet. Also bending as much I can to the center of the bike with out scratching the cover.
Now I have room , and not touching the lever. Feels more comfortable for my leg.
