The Honda 500cc motor is absolutely fantastic. It's bulletproof..50 hp. The only thing that sucks about Honda is there styling. Had this bike looked like the Triumph 400X. It would have sold a million times better. They need to do better in that category.
Completely agree. If you told me Honda was making a scrambler I would think I'd be getting my money out, but then I saw the thing. It's not a scrambler at all. It's a bobber, which I really don't care for. It looks more like a Honda Rebel. It's more cruiser than anything. A scrambler should have more of a straight line from tank to seat. Plus, the point is for the pipe to run high along the bike, not just to finish high. You want it out from under the chassis. I'm a Honda guy more than anything, but they totally missed on this one. I'm a Triumph fan secondly, and the 400X nailed it.
I placed my deposit on a 2025. I wanted an all around motorcycle to compliment my Harley Davidson StreetBob 114. I think the Scrambler will be a perfect fit.
Actually very cool to see someone from New Brunswick making videos! I just got myself a Honda CB650R and will be staring my riding adventures this coming spring!
For off-road riding it sure could use an oil filter protector and/or skid plate. That looks like the only thing I would purchase. A handsome bike for sure.
This bike looks fantastic in the flesh. Tried it last year and liked it a lot. I tried this engine with different bikes and the CL is the best by far. The 19" front wheel, big seat and low seat hight are a real advantage.
Scrambler by definition has always had mid mount pipes to prevent damage to them while off-road That low pipe and I assume converter are just begging to be crushed
This bike is for the 50ish man newer to riding that tried the heavy Harley for a few years and decided this the bike built just for me and my kind of riding.
I definitely want to review both of those. The E-clutch sounds really interesting, I've been studying up on it, I plan to make it make sense to viewers soon.
Truck will come soon! It's cold, and although I have a space to film them indoors, they present better in more wide open spaces. But we'll definitely have a lot more Peterbilt trucks on here soon.
I have the 2019 CB500X this thing has the same forks, tires & the same wheels!!. 3.1 gallons of ⛽?? My CB500X holds like 4.7 gallons! I like it tho cool ass bike! I dig it! I picked up a 2024 Kawasaki Z500 as my 2nd 🏍️💨 down in the states I got it for $6,100 OTD
Moncton and Freddy have the best dealerships. As a Saint Johner looking to buy a new bike I think I'm gonna have to leave the city. Our 2 tiny dealerships can't compare.
I'll be reviewing anything electric. Lots of manufacturers are dipping their toes in the market, I'm looking to review whatever I can because in addition to having a motorcycle background, I also have an extensive EV background.
I didn't find the seat too bad. It's firm. The engine isn't meant to be range topping, so I think a lot of people understand what they're getting with it.
Great review as usual Peter and happy to hear you can include Honda now.
Thanks Riverview Honda.
Thanks for your support!

@@lastsonofkrypton36that is not a bobber 😂🤡
right it is awful and Triumph 400 is a beauty without this engine
Thanks Riverview Honda!! Peter is a great addition to your team!!!

Awesome! Yeah this is a great province for riding adventures!
@PeterLoweOne will see how I do around the roads of Moncton!
I had a 305 scrambler in high school , really good for all purpose riding .
Nice!!

Radiator protective plate as well.
Yeah, I wouldn't call it a full off road bike from the factory, but it certainly gives some extra capability over pure road going bikes.

My first bike was a Honda CL 400. The ancestor of this bike.
It’s clear this bike is impressive, and your review really brings out its strengths. Great review, Peter! 💯
Thanks for watching!
@@PeterLoweOne You're welcome! Keep sharing your review contents!
Good video, thanks.
I got one a year ago in the same color. Put 7,600 miles on it and love it so far. Greetings from the NJ shore USA.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Nice review of this 500 Honda Scrambler. Looks nice.
The design and all-around aesthetic of the bike is really fantastic
It ugly as hell
@ВолодимирМосковченко but it'll run forever
@ 100%
Been eyeing this bike. Thanks for review.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it! Lots more to come!
@PeterLoweOne subscribed. 🙏
Great looking bike. Always like how you start with the front wheel-I have learned a lot! Please review the Honda Dax! Thank you.
Now we have HONDA and KAWASAKI full acces!!! Thanks and congratulations Peter!!!!
And Suzuki, and Yamaha, and KTM, and Husqvarna, and Can Am, and more, with more planned for the future! And that's just motorcycles!
@PeterLoweOne 😎

A lifted and more versatile Kawasaki Eliminator.
Sort of? I can see what you're saying!

Nice! Do the CB650R with the e-clutch also if available and next, the 750 hornet

Hi Peter. When do we see trucks again?
Truck will come soon! It's cold, and although I have a space to film them indoors, they present better in more wide open spaces. But we'll definitely have a lot more Peterbilt trucks on here soon.

Strange to mount just one pannier. Oh, wait...
Is Canada soon USA 😂
I'm sure we'll welcome you as the 11th province if you want.

this monster exhaust is not accettable

Feel free to reach out to our dealership in Fredericton and we can get you in to the bike you want !
Freddy has everything you could need. If you end up shopping in town, make sure to tell them that I sent you!
Why can Honda not create a retro bike similar to royal enfield classic or metro...
Maybe they can?
@@nathanruben3372 very good question. The honda-bear.

I'm in the market for an electric scooter and I think Honda makes some electric bikes. Any chance of reviewing an electric scooter?
I'll be reviewing anything electric. Lots of manufacturers are dipping their toes in the market, I'm looking to review whatever I can because in addition to having a motorcycle background, I also have an extensive EV background.
I wish they would make that bike with the 1100 motor from the Rebel
That would make it too heavy for off roading.
It will be interesting to see what Honda does with a Scrambler lineup. I'm definitely open to more!
I had one. Very uncomfortable seat and a motor that is supereconomical but torqueless
I didn't find the seat too bad. It's firm. The engine isn't meant to be range topping, so I think a lot of people understand what they're getting with it.
Such an ugly tank and exhaust pipe
Sounds like this isn't the bike for you. I actually like the look in person! To each their own though!
@@PeterLoweOne you're right definitely the look is not for me, but I have no doubts regarding the reliability
Sorry, I still think the older Shadows were better looking bikes.
The problem with Honda 500 isn't the bikes but the engine. Sluggish and boring as h***
If you're bored on a bike, it isn't the bike. 🤣👍
ugly style, bizarre exhaust, no man, this is the worst 500 honda design. the engine is excellent, i have a 2024 cb 500f it is fantastic
To each their own, I guess!
