- Welcome to a busy day of homemaking in our house. The Lord has really been working hard on me and my contentment with where I am in my life. I hope this video encourages you to remember that He always provides, and you are exactly where you are meant to be.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Nice to see another lady who has elegantly learned to live within her means. I absolutely adore another woman who finds real value in second hand and auction items. I am not going to pay full price for anything! Wash & dryer were $50/ea, leather living room furniture set was free, real cherry wood dining table set was free. There’s so much overconsumption and not enough room. People are so entitled that they are money blind. Which is great for me, I am a new SAHM and put us under the poverty line.
Definitely my favorite channel!
For the content of quality, the peaceful ambiance, the calming music and the sound of your gentle voice, the motivation it gives to do something productive but also the convictions that the Holy Spirit brings while listening his word. I am so grateful for your service to the Lord and I want to encourage you to keep being faithful and sanctified. I pray that the Lord keeps and protects you and your family in his hands and manifests his glory in your home. I am convinced that one day, a lot of souls in heaven will rejoice in the presence of God because of your faithfulness to what the Lord has called you to do. Be blessed and powerfully comforted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ❤
Looks like a hard-working mama serving her home and family faithfully!
I so agree with the buying nice things second hand. On a teacher and ministry budget, people are surprised by how our little house is decorated, but there are lots of things you can get for dirt cheap or free that were originally unaffordable! Our friends and family know that I am always willing to go through things they want to donate before they donate them, too 😂
Hi Anna! I suggest lavender. Make sure you have proper drainage underneath but mine, even when dormant, are beautiful in the winter. They turn into a light green, fragrant bush.
Just found your channel. Thank you for your content. I thank God for leading me here. I really need to hear what God has given you. It is so encouraging to me. Thank you again.
Anna you are content with what you have and this is good the Lord Jesus will give you more
Thankfulness and being grateful always touches God's heart ,as we grow in Christ we understand more of God's Love for us !! Enjoy your videos
God bless you and family ❤
Your dark chocolate covered frozen peanut butter & yogurt balls look great! I'll do that, for sure! I like to make peanut butter balls using peanut butter, a cup, a stick of butter, & 2 cups of protein powder, and about a 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup of maple syrup, form into balls, freeze, & cover in dark chocolate melted with coconut oil if you want, but you can also use a little paraffin wax & then the chocolate will stay hardened outside the freezer at room temperature instead of getting soft & sticky. But, coconut oil is healthier, of course!🤎
I also have to add I’m well versed in scripture like you are. Your doctrine is very sound and simple. I’ve learned more from this channel in 1 week than I have at any church I’ve gone to. No offense to any churches but this is a biblically sound channel and everything you say is truth, I’ve listened to 95% of your videos and don’t disagree with one thing which is very rare for me because I can usually catch when something is off, but you are spot on preaching the Bible with its simple message. The Holy Spirit is really guiding this channel and it lives in you and your speech is biblically based sound doctrine. You’re fulfilling the great commission from your home, who would’ve thought this 20 years ago lol. The internet can be used for good and bad and I’m glad to see it’s being used to glorify God on this channel and spread the good news.
AMEN! I’m just a regular gal after God’s own heart. I’ll be whatever He wants me to be. I told Him that. This is where He brought me and what He has taught me so far. So much to learn, but in His timing - not mine. I appreciate all your love and support here. The internet can be a cruel place to be and people like you keep me going.
Hi Anna,
Thank you for sharing these things with us ❤
I will never criticize gardening, I am so bad at it 😅
What beautiful hardwood floors!
Those peanut butter chocolate sweets looked so delicious I had to get up and make some for after dinner! God Bless You! I am so thankful I found your page!
I love your videos. So calming & inspiring. ❤ It’s not just that you buy affordable, you have a knack for styling your home beautifully. I buy everything from thrift stores and fb marketplace and my apartment looks like a garage sale. 😂
My house used to be that way too. It was because I bought too much at thrift stores! I got rid of ALOT (like more than half) and have learned that less is really more in this case. I highly recommend Joshua Beckers videos for inspiration. You too can have a lovely peaceful home highlighting only your best and most favorite thrift store finds ❤️
@ thank you! 🙏You’re so right! I’ve started decluttering finally, and can’t believe how much “stuff” I’ve accumulated!
Congratulations to your husbands business!! Praise the Lord! Praying God continues to multiple the fruit of your husbands labor.
Merci!
God Bless You! ♥️🥹
@@AnnaDysett God bless you too ❤😊
Yes on the peppermint oil as a bug/spider repellent.
Thanks for your channel!
This was so beautiful 😍 im new to your channel and also take contentment at home and we are also mindful of money.
I have large pots scattered in my plant beds. I change the flowers in them seasonally. The plants in the ground are year round evergreen.
Hi Anna! I love your videos! As Christmas time gets closer, could you possibly talk about some tips on gift giving on a budget? :)
Good idea 😊
Ooo, I love that idea! Definitely something to consider talking about!
I have also read( I believe it was on Pinterest) that peppermint oil was excellent for repelling bugs.
I'm not sure if you and your husband would be doing the limewashing on your own, but if so it is very beginner friendly! I did around our fireplace and eventually the front of our house on my own. Wonderful video as always!
We would be doing it ourselves. More like he would be doing it and I would be supporting him with my pom poms 🤣
Thank you so much for being here ♥️
The bed is cute,I love buying second hand
I saw your awesome response to Kelsey Westman’s catholic Bible vs Protestant Bible video, super graceful and very kind way to respond to a fellow believer in Christ. 👍👍👍 I’m a firm believer in the Protestant reform Bible like you.
Aw, I forgot about that 🥹 she’s truly a gem.
There is a technique for lightening bricks called “German shmere” (not sure of the spelling) that Chip & Joanna Gaines did on a brick home. It looked amazing and really made the home shine 😊
Ooo! I’ll look into that. I love Joanna’s style! Thanks so much!
God is good
Amen ♥️
Lovely video!
You could plant 3 bushes that have big round flowers called hydrangeas.
Love hydrangeas! Are you referring to the front?
@@AnnaDysett you can plant them behind your flowers. I'm sure they like sun. Your home is lovely.
@@AnnaDysetthydrangeas don’t do good in full sun 4-6 hrs at most, they are very susceptible to heat. They’re one of my favorite plants and as a landscape contractor I tell people to put them in shade and use hydrangea fertilizer which they sell at Home Depot and they will have large blooms.
Better living with something garish and gaudy than something meretricious or tawdry, am I right? Love your content.
I love the red brick. Painted brick cheapens the look. That's just my opinion ❤
I also wondered how you have such nice things. I'm poor in New Zealand and wondered if our poverty line is much less than America where im assuming you are lol but sounds like you find bargins. I do love too op shop.
You are like a busy bee 🐝 ❤
Not trying to be bossy but want to be helpful. What kind of flooring do you have? If it’s wood, steam will destroy it. The people who installed our flooring told me this. I think LVP, linoleum, and tile can take it but anything else can’t.
Ours are real hardwood, but they are sealed with polyurethane which makes them safe to steam on (I believe). I wouldn’t have thought you were being bossy - I appreciate you looking out for our floors. My husband spent a lot of time on them, and I would hate for them to get ruined!
So how has your hubby felt about you being home? Many many men/husbands seem almost to resent going to work, while wife stays home with the children.... Has he been good with it? Did he go through any type of shift?
There was no shift for us personally. We have both been self employed in some way since we first met (so I’ve always been home). However, my husband is a pretty smart guy and realizes that if I had a corporate job using my degree, we would be taking that money to pay for daycare. So basically I would be working just so I didn’t have to care for my children which is really sad. He loves me being home and he loves that he can depend on me to make meals, keep up with household tasks, plan, and homeschool our kiddos. While my husband carries the weight of the financial burden, I carry everything in the home and I believe he knows deep down which is the harder job 🙃 I realize that every man is not a man of God though and doesn’t always think that’s the best route.
Hello dear Anna. The treats look so simple and delicious! Speaking from experience, my suggestion would be not to whitewash the brick. It will show all the dirt. At least the red variegated brick will hide it. Please be careful about remodeling your bathroom. If there is mold, the spores can be released into the entire house. This happened to us, and I suffered from severe mold illness for ten years. Mold information is very much misunderstood. It is not something you can surface remove with bleach. I have never been the same since being exposed to mold.
I'm so sorry! That happened to us with a rental house we lived in. We still have mold sensitivity issues too.
Yikes! I’m so sorry that happened to you 🥺I was just reading a story the other day about how a woman had chronic migraines due to mold and she didn’t know until she moved. She lost over a decade of her life over it, and the husband had so much guilt. We know this is a possibility, so I believe when the time comes we will hire someone to do the job as well as make sure our home is safe. Thank you for looking out for us ♥️
Im using it to repel ants
where are you
I fail at trying to Stop lusting after women and I hate it to have so much to work with it's embracing wish I had little
$1600 Pelaton bike makes its appearance in this video... priceless
It’s actually an echelon (more like $300 range) and my husband got that in auction too! 😃 if you haven’t sourced out local online auctions in your area.. you’re really missing out! If no one bids on something, you can get the most insane things for as low as $5.
