I am a woman from Pakistan and when you mentioned the woman that came up to you, it was impossible not to shed a tear.

thank you for this talk, lots of people don’t realize that canada is a country with a lot of racism too, especially towards indigenous people

In ‘67 i was 12 and naiively proud to be canadian (raised in multicultural dt TO). In 2012, idle no more cracked my shell of ignorance and felt shame ever since. And the injustice continues and seems to get worse, except since may there might be hope that more of us settlers are finally waking up. Thanks for your speaking :)

I was so shocked when I started reading about the Aboriginal Indigenous peoples and horrific cruelty perpetrated against aboriginal children in Residential Schools and the murders of Indegenous young women.Worse even than Apartheid in South Africa. The United Nations called it a genocide. How I didn't know about these horrors when I took my Canadian citizenship in 1973. Thanks for the talk Tecumseh!

Brazil is a very nice country, except by two problems: the government and the people.

This is so sad! I’m with this girl! Canada you are such a disappointment!!! You need to treat your INDIGENOUS PEOPLES BETTER! Protect them at all costs better yet they should come to America!! Natives get treated good here come to California ❤

I don’t find Canadians so nice. They are polite but it is fake. Most of them are cold and it is so hard to make friends, it is the North American individualism. They don’t have a lot of hospitality and they culture and curiosity levels are low. If I generalize I would say that they are passive-aggressive.

Depends where you are. I have lived in Alberta, BC and Newfoundland, and the people in Newfoundland ARE nice and awesome and they make the "niceness" out west seem exactly as you say. Newfoundland is the best.

I agree . I had the Canadian citizenship and I came to alberta as in Greece last years we had a huge financial crisis.
But i realized that here things aren't what they say , ,I ll go back ,weather and people there are better ,and maybe less income but less cost of life
