Given the vibes and the place that the modern one is having, that plate of "hokkien mee" is not considered very expensive. But! In it's current form, it's not really worth it for long term, more like a novelty tourist trap kinda dish. They should not market it as a modern hokkien mee and more like an modern inspired hokkien mee. They have to market it like a seafood platter of noodles. Just increase to price close to $50....AND...increase the amount of noodles and seafood ingredients to be served as a party platter for 4-6 pax...Problem solved, won't be "unjustified" and everyone get to get together enjoy the vibes and the ambience of such a place.
