That poor officer who just sent that couple on thier way with the tickets. I can't imagine how terrible this whole instance will hit him. Therapy, therapy, therapy. Bless you Officer.
I saw the entire long version of the young couple that has the horrendous crash just after getting pulled over!!! I feel so bad for that officer, being the first on the scene to his previous call. Not to mention, that truck driver as well.
he wasnt even allowed to be driving at that time. those were teenagers!! they were speeding and should did not even have their license on him (which is illegal) they should have been arrested or at least been driven home. that officer is responable for thier death even if he was just trying to be nice.
I came to the comments looking for someone to be speaking truth. That officer had no business letting him go with tickets after witnessing what he did before the stop. At the very least, he should have conducted FSTs, or made him get out of the drivers seat since he shouldn't have been behind the wheel in the first place! Everyone is responsible for their own actions, however the police take an oath to protect & serve. I'm sure the officer does feel guilty. As he should. But he should also be held accountable in some aspect! I know it's tragic for everyone involved, but I honestly believe had he done his job thoroughly, they would not have been dead 13 minutes later!!
I guess when it’s your potential end you find the strength because you don’t have much choice. I don’t think for a minute that when he jumped on that hood that he thought this old lady was going to drive off full speed down a busy street. He must have been so scared and shocked, I mean who would expect that?
@@LightjetPilot That's what my driver's instructor did for her class/school when it was still open. Showed a DVD compilation of unedited "afterwards" of fatal crashes, which even included some of the deceased (how she got it, literally no idea). Safe to say, I'll rarely drive 5 over in a town where +10 is fairly normal, and stop at stop signs on backroads even in dead hours. Drive safe, y'all 😅
I’ve watched the last video a few times on other channels without edits like this. It’s so tragic…first date, pulled over, less than 15 minutes later they’re both passed away because he refused to listen. My heart absolutely sinks deep when the officer realized and has a mini-meltdown because he just pulled them over. I couldn’t imagine.
wow for someone to almost kill you and you still have compassion for her well being shows what a kind person he was. still i'm glad they impressed upon him the gravity of her actions. she needs to never drive a car again!
He's a WAY better person than she ever was or will be! She kept saying "You don't jump on a person's car"! She genuinely didn't see what she did was wrong, which is the most alarming part! When she said she's from Florida, it all made sense....
to be clear *it’s not funny situation* BUT the lady says “i turned around and was like where’s my husband and the lady said he’s on the hood of her car!!!” sent me , so innocent that old lady said it 😂😂😂 9:00
It’s funny in the sense that it’s SOOOO absurd. Also the fact that the man was alright physically (and I’m sure he’ll be ok emotionally given some time) - makes the entire situation funny.
The last incident: I hope the officer is doing well. He tried to tell them, he told them exactly what would happen but they didn't listen. He did what he could. My heart goes out to their families. Kids don't understand just how precious their life is until it's too late.
Damn, the last one! He pulled them over for reckless driving and 15 minutes later, they crash, dead. It was their first date apparently.. What a choice, so sad. 58:56, love her coworker, she knows what he's probably going through right now.
Wow, that first woman, just wow. Even in the back of the police car, she still thought she was going home 🤦🏻♀️ That is a serious lack of accountability, I bet she has lived her entire life that same way too. Massive kudos to her victim for feeling bad for her & so reluctant to press charges. She really should never drive again 😡
The first lady “he hit ME!” Even with video evidence you’re never gonna convince her that she’s wrong. She turned into his lane but somehow it’s his fault and her memory is infallible.
Wow. This is incredible. Why even test her. This is some clear B.S on the police in my opinion. She passed those tests. And how many tests do you have to pass. Like come on. I understand she crashed into the side of a building. But damn
Yeah poor girl it was just a bad accident. Her BAC was under the legal limit. She didn’t stumble or appear impaired….. Hey she already suffered the accident, plus the drama and money she’ll owe… it’s enough punishment

The last vehicle accident was absolutely tragic. I can't imagine the grief the officer must feel, the family and their friends. The heartbreak in his voice was overwhelming.. The flash of the totaled vehicle... I was speechless.
And people wonder why some police officers are the way they are. This poor guy gave him a break. I fear he will not give anyone a break anymore , thinking back to this accident. His logic may be if i had arrested him he would still be alive. Poor guy. That kid was not going to listen to anyone. Im so sorry for the police officer. I wish more people understood what police and firefighters go through on a daily basis. My heart truly hurts for him 💔
I totally respect LE and what they go through & see daily. But this one I feel he didn't do his duty, he should have never let that driver leave behind the wheel after the traffic stop. He didn't even have a fully valid license. I'm sure he does feel guilty. And he's gonna have some responsibility to take on this one too.
That last one - I've seen the whole clip and that officer was so shaken up after seeing it was the same car he'd just stopped and that both were dead. He and that truck driver probably both needed a bit of counseling and someone to talk to because that was a heck of a hit.
Make that 76 year old lady watch the all the videos and then see what she says. Ridiculous. She is a crazy lady. Glad she didn’t hurt anyone any of the times she was behind the wheel.
The moment she had decided that 'people just don't act that way,' any punishment she decided to dole out was justified in her mind, and therefore the other person's fault even if she killed them. Judge, jury, and executioner.
She did have her license revoked for life in addition to time (house arrest?) and extended probation. But I do agree that she should have gotten some heavy prison time. Florida depends on the old sunbirds and their retirement income, so that might be why. I don't have a clue why Ohio would be lenient.
The first driver was such an unabashed liar. She made up so many lies!! Some old people deserve to go to jail. I was so shocked at how crazy her lies were. Imagine how many other people she has lied about??
As they stated the tests aren't about passing and failing but checking for distracted attention/focus, and the main thing is the BAC test, which does indicate that she was intoxicated at the time. The brakes should be properly checked to see if there was any problems which could indicate that the accident wasn't solely due to being intoxicated, but we don't know that they weren't.
You're the first to acknowledge the stupidity of the man standing in front of the car then trying to stop it by jumping on it rather than getting the plate number and reporting it. Minor damage to the vehicles but he risked his life.
Like he had a choice. He was telling her to stop. She did but then drove right at him. He had no choice but to jump on the car. The lady lied about EVERYTHING. She failed her probation. She needs to be locked or if if she's truly that delusional then mental hospital till she passes.
Agreed! If someone jumped on my hood, I have no idea how I would respond. An elderly ( not so bright ) woman could have been scared. I think of scenarios like this with the gangs of people blocking the road and surrounding cars along with beating on the car. Of course this didn’t happen with this one but you don’t jump on a hood . Two wrongs don’t make a right but this isn’t a clear case other than the elderly lady was bonkers .
That first lady is a menace on the road. The last one was gut wrenching...my heart goes out to that poor officer as the last to see that young couple alive and then POOF dead... I can't imagine what kind of "what if" nightmares that would induce
100% true, and it’s why sometimes LEO perhaps sometimes shouldn’t ‘cut people a break' when it comes to driving offences! It clearly wasn’t only unappreciated but legitimately stopping him from driving outside of his probationary hours would have prevented this. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing though and I hope the LEO was able to keep perspective of his role here and not beat himself up over it.
The first woman needs to be evaluated for dementia. Her inability to handle the situation and to understand what she did wrong goes far past anything normal.
It's crazy how the first lady at first seems like she's just lying about her version but as it goes on it really feels like this is what she was perceiving in her head, which makes her VERY dangerous.
Yeah it's even scarier that she truly truly believes its ridiculous that she's going to jail. Even when she's in the cop car she beleived they were simply taking her home. They said she was arrested again for driving with no license. It's sad though because she truly seems mentally ill. Even the guy didn't want her to get in trouble. He must have realized she was a few eggs short of a basket.
The girl who said her brakes failed may have blew over the limit but.. she also said she and her husband had been fighting for two days. So when the tow asked if the officer wanted him to do a through check and the officer said no, that’s bad. What if something WAS wrong with the breaks? Should have done the check
They were trying to get her for a dui that’s why. They’re hoping his explanation as to why she blew below the limit will stick in court which I suspect it won’t.
Speaking on the first older woman, some people refuse to accept they did anything wrong or accept responsibility. They immediately think it was the other person. I Was hit from behind at a red light and the lady said to me with a straight face, why did you reverse into me? True story. It seems some people automatically assume it was the other person, it's insane.

it was, but she continued to drive. she got arrested only a couple weeks later for driving a permanently suspended license, which was also a probation violation. she’s still in jail without bond pending arraignment and a competency evaluation.
How is no one talking about the last story! I can’t even wrap my head around it!! That’s a literal nightmare for all involved. that cop will be thinking about that for the rest of his life
Um, a lot of people were talking about it. It's a terrible situation because the officer could've technically arrested him for the speed/ reckless driving. Unfortunately kids think they are invincible. (And yes 24 is a kid)

I didn’t see any evidence that she was lying - there’s something very wrong with her neurologically
The officer that placed the young woman under arrest for DUI was in the wrong from my point of view. She appeared to pass every test.
She certainly didn’t pass the tests, but why didn’t they check the brakes?
As they stated the tests aren't about passing and failing but checking for distracted attention/focus, and the main thing is the BAC test, which does indicate that she was intoxicated at the time. The brakes should be properly checked to see if there was any problems which could indicate that the accident wasn't solely due to being intoxicated, but we don't know that they weren't.
“You don’t jump on someone’s car.” You also don’t drive when someone’s jumped on you car!!! Unreal!!!!

100% true, and it’s why sometimes LEO perhaps sometimes shouldn’t ‘cut people a break' when it comes to driving offences!
It clearly wasn’t only unappreciated but legitimately stopping him from driving outside of his probationary hours would have prevented this.
