Thanks Bruce again. Such simple tips and makes everything so clear. I am in the process of starting a new business next year and i have few months before I get there. Each one of these videos are such gems. I feel lucky that I don't have to be reactive to learn all these things after I start the business. I will be launch ready thinking about all aspects of the business with the help of your videos. Thank you again. I am genuinely inspired by your videos; These videos are building my confidence level up. My funny wife says I have a man crush on you ! ha ha But I see you as a great advisor and mentor I never had in my life before; albeit through videos. But I do hope to meet you one day. My wife and I discuss and brainstorm what we need to do for our business after watching each of your videos. We find it invaluable. Kind regards to you from me and my family.
Thanks again. You just made my day! Your kind words mean a lot. I wish you all the success in the world and am glad to play a little part in it. You ROCK! Best wishes, B
Great tips Bruce- just 'catching' up from 2010 videos and now subscribing- I'm co-creating a business with a partner and realized I had lack of clarity around vision and mission so these are truly rescuing me from going down a rabbit hole- In gratitude!
Viki, thanks! And best wishes on getting a new business off the ground! Oh, and yes, it would be great if TH-cam allowed us to update videos. I'd love to update that 2010 video but then I'd have to start at zero again ... and that's no fun :-)
Your video os amazing!!! You really put clarity to how a vision statement should be. Everybody is saying do vision statements and even vision boards. Nobody really ever got into the dissection of how it should be.
Loved it Bruce . Took me back to a program I attended at the Stanford Campus many years ago as part of a strategic management program. Great refresher. How the mission statement flows from the vision statement would have been nice too but I guess this is more focussed on the vision statement alone.
Sandeep, thanks! And thanks for the complement (per your comment about Stanford). And yes, there's another video I created on what makes a great mission statement, as well as another one that talks about the difference between mission and vision. So, you're right on. The vision statement should flow from the mission statement (even though many think it's the reverse ... I just disagree :-).
Apologies ...you're absolutely right. How can one derive those more specific mission statements unless they have the guiding broader vision in front of them. I look forward to watching the other videos too .
Thank you very much this was very helpful! maybe you can do some review of popular trending people's visions and statements, Elon. Gates, or current tech brands like huawei etc etc, this could drag huge traffic to your youtube channel because the algorithms need that trending hook for promoting you more, this is gold!

I watched your 3 videos on "What is the difference", Mission and Vision statement videos. Big help on creating my 2020 mission and vision statements for my financial planning practice (to be presented this Friday). *Subscribed* Ps- I am curious, do you offer one on one coaching? I am in the greater NYC area. Thanks Bruce -Mike
See i am undergoing my bachelor degree on Architecture, and would love to see it sustainable and holistic...but the problem is here in Africa, very few people cares about the philosophy and the consequences that houses and structures impose on environment. Alot just want the shelter that is all...
