I love the concrete, the imperfections give it character and once there's a rug in the lounge area and furniture it will take the attention away from them anyway. I would have gone for big tiles in the bathroom for a more modern aesthetic, but then again I live in Europe where subway tiles aren't that common so I'm not used to them. Also, I would have gone with a more natural wood tone on the steps that ties in with the walnut in the rest of the place but the black coating looks amazing too. All in all the place is incredible, the kitchen, the wooden slabs and the fan are my favourite items and I'm really excited to see the rest of the project.

l love the kitchen, looks so different from the traditional combinations of cabinet finishes. I would have never thought to mix the cabinet colour with the colours you chose, yet they work perfectly.
You made some great choices. I really like the wall tiling of the bathroom. I myself have mood boards for different rooms to flip if I'm ever able to do this in the future :)

The walnut slats really make the space. A palisander Eames lounge chair is a definite must for the finished design.
The corner piece on the bulkhead slats is perfect.
