- Hi guys! Today I'll be trying my first Dosa in India at Bangalore Cafe, which is one of Bangalore's best kept secrets! I don't know if I'll ever have a Dosa this good:) Join us as we try Dosa and Idly as well as film in the kitchen to see the process of how the food is prepared. Bangalore breakfast options are incredible. I haven't seen this passion for breakfast in the North. Bangalore has so many famous bf places. I discovered them for the first time last year😅. Pls do not hold back!
In the south there is only breakfast option not main course items 😂😂😂

You are forgetting scores of different kinds of stuffed parathas, Aloo puri, Chloe bhatures , kachoris , paneer bhurji, sanwhiches…….all washed down with a wonderful sweet/salty lassi !
KONKANI cuisine and UDUPI cuisines are popular in Karnataka.. Use ZOMATO and Tripadvisors...
I'm a bangalorean currently living in Jersey City. I don't see a single restaurant in US which does dosas in Bangalore style! I badly miss these!
May be I will work on this and open a restaurant or get a franchise here for sure.

Bangalore Cafe is indeed one of the best fast food breakfast joints to try in South Bangalore Jayanagar 2nd block.
The highlight dish is goli bajji prepared in the evenings only which are round bajji balls also called Mangalore bajji

As we eat with our hands there are always arrangements for hand washing with soap in eateries,restaurants. Ask them. Then keep a small hand sanitizer with you always if you are extremely hygiene conscious which i always do. Go To any medicine shop and you can buy those without any prescription.
Oh sweet! I didn’t know there was always arrangements to wash hands at every place. We actually say the sink outside after we ate😂 so at least we were able to wash our hands after. Great idea for hand sanitizer!! Thank you!

Hey Nicole welcome to India and we wish you a very happy tour in India.
My advice to you:
1) start the conversation with namaste with the localities that would create a base.
2) do the financial transactions through digital payment this would help the govt initiative to go digital and hold some liquid cash if necessary.
3) use cab booking apps like Uber and Ola for good price other than getting looted by the scammers.

NO. A BIG NO. VB, CTR, Cool Corner, Umesh Dosae point, Chalukya, So many real options are available. Rameshwaram is overpriced, unhealthy and the portion is illegal for the pricing.

By the way in Karnataka u see descent, cultured ,soft & good people every where & also the cleanest states compared to other states.

That's dhosa and not dosa. Indians are writing the spellings which are written by British. Because India was captured by British for 2 centuries until 1947
