- Hi Guys! Today is our first day in Mumbai! In this video we set out on an adventure by taking the train to try some street food! We also take in our surroundings and the beautiful architecture right before stumbling upon some masala chai:) We end the night at a restaurant that specializes in street food dishes and try some of the dishes we've been waiting to try throughout this trip! #india #mumbai

Pao is Portuguese for bread/loaf. That's the origin of 'pao-Bhaji'...'Bhaji' means a curry with, usually, potatoes...
Crowded big cities of India are not very touristly build system and more like local city life but I hope you will visit Cities like Udaipur Jodhpur or some place in Himalaya which are actual tourist centers.
As a South African, I really enjoyed your video. Its very real and visually different from the normal foodie videos made in India by the other international visitors...I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Watched till the end. Really enjoyed your Vlog. You have an instinctive sense of a place. Mumbai or Bombay is a vibrant city. Not surprising people from Bombay love New York. It has the same energy. The food variety is amazing. You have but tasted a tiny percentage of that variety available in Bombay.

Maruti pav bhaji (Vile parle) and sardar pav baji (Tardeo) are the best places and if you want to try indian pizza or the fusion ones try JOEYs pizza (Andheri west).

To eat pav bhaji first you have to put chopped onion on bhaji than u have to take smal piece of your pav dip in bhaji with onion and than have it ..if you take big piece of paav 🍞 you will finish bread early and end up buying extra bread to finish bhaji ..yo have to small piece of bread and lil bhaji in every bite ...

The pao (pav)-- bhaji ( Hawaiian bread 😂 -- it's the local daily store made bread --- & tomato based smashed mixed veg) is along the entire strip of food vendors on the beach, enjoy ! 😋

@@nicolemd33 Local trains & Metro Railway comes every 10-15 minutes on every route, so it will stop for 1-2 minutes only. Be it in Mumbai or Kolkata or Delhi. These r metro city. Life is fast & with hussle. 🤷♂️

Welcome to Mumbai and if u want to try street food eat it from the street i can understand there would be some thing that whill hold u upto try by whatu have tried r not the complete street food and just to quick tip if u r afraid then eat which is cooked in front of ur eyes and should be hot ❤ from Mumbai
Do not forget to visit kashmir(heaven on earth) and northeast part of india especially nagaland where hornbill festival is going on and also arunachal.

The bread roll is called Pav its comes from what the Portuguese brought to India - pao is literally the word for bread in Portuguese! And yes the Bombay black and yellow taxis are perhaps as iconic as the NY yellow ones or the London black cabs! While we pride ourselves on a city where all the public transport run on meters without arguing...unfortunately we are seeing that change happening and Uber and Ola have added to this problem!
