Without knowing where you filmed this, one could think that this is in Hungary. We have the exact same buildings and all. I'm really glad that you have included photos from your childhood, it's really kind that you let us see them. Also it's mind blowing that everything feels so familiar for me, it seems life was the same in post soviet countries. Same clothes, scenes, haircuts, buildings :)

Dana, it was unique to get such an insight into your life. Thank you so much for that. And what you've done with yourself is so incredibly amazing. You should be so proud of yourself, how much you have achieved in your still young life is not to be taken for granted. You have lived your dream and built something incredible from humble beginnings. I wish you all the very best for the future and that you can continue to live your dream into old age. Greetings Jinx

Wow. Came here randomly. I was born in 1985. Thats exactly how my whole elementary school friends including myself lived in Poland. The amount of nostalgia that hit me while watching this is insane and i can really relate to the feelings you've discribed. Great memories of being happy thanks to knot know knowing how poor we were and sadness at the same time realizing that nowadays.

Honestly as a kid, it was quite nice there. Today I live only 2 kilometers away from there but the house we lived in was demolished when I was 14 years old and we had to move to a different place, also not far from today.

An amusing story - my friend for some reason needed to move to another apartment in our city. The apartment was on the other side of the city, but as both of these apartments were the soviet block ones, layout of his "new" apartment was totally the same as the old one XD So they didn`t even need to think how to arrange their furniture, because everything stayed exactly the same XD

The silver lining in your content is definitely your sense of style. Starting from music on streams, camerawork on vlogs, video editing, even commercial ads.. to your amazingly beautiful house. You gather really good professionals around you and it's only possible if you know what and how you want to be done. Not really often catch up on your streams, but every time when I came across on some your video I love how you do things. Just super high quality in all aspects. Happy for you! You 100% deserved everything you have achieved.

When I saw the house back then, I thought it was simply amazing what you can create. No resentment or envy. Unfortunately, you will always meet people who don't begrudge you. That's why you should concentrate on the vast majority of people who supports you from the bottom of their hearts. Very great video, and also authentic.

Wow, where to begin? Firstly, thank you for sharing Dana. A wonderful video with deep insight into the origins of DanucD :D I am a little disturbed by the fact that it was born from people with hateful and hurtful comments but this surely will give them pause for thought. Well done to you for your journey so far in this life. I wish you the very best and countless more reward from your hard work and creative ideas.
For those who look at others and envy what they wish to have: Firstly look at yourself. What have you done or not done. Always remember that hard work and a bit of good fortune go a long way. Sometimes you even have to seek the positive to bring things together. Whatever you do, never look down on others and never write off others achievements as simplistic because that is to undermine how you yourself might be better off in life.

So wonderful cinematic video! Absolutely love it!😍Thanks for sharing your childhood with us. Was surprised to see that kind of elevator, as I had the same in my dad's house when I was a child, but city government replaced it in 2020. Most of the Soviet building in Almaty get brand new elevators and made renovation of stairwells😄

I love how videos like this humanize us all and make me realize that no matter where we are from, we are all just people trying to have a life. Thank you for sharing this. REAL LIFE, not propaganda that our governments use to try and divide us.
