You missed how she got on her speeder bike and push the handlebars forward to go forward but in the next scene she pulled the handlebars back to go forward.
Never really thought about it before, but that's a horrible design whichever way it works. Speeding up could cause you to be thrown back, pulling the handlebars, and thus either speeding up even more, or braking, potentially throwing you off the bike. There's a reason the throttle is often either a pedal, thumb lever, or a rotating control on the handlebars.
I beat my head against various solid objects throughout this episode, but maybe none more so than when they put a WOOKIEE in the TRANDOSHAN QUARTER and expected things to go swimmingly.
In fairness, he did beat down 4 of them in a previous episode and tore one of their arms off with his bare hands. But let's be honest, when they were handing out assignments, he probably volunteered for that job.
I like how they called out the darksaber wasn't able to penetrate The Shield in the Clone Wars TV show the smaller and weaker Droidekas had a shield that was just as strong nothing short of an ion cannon would penetrate including lightsabers
When the show ended a lot of people I know had only watched the first episode and stopped due to disappointment or just watched the episodes with Mando. Having watched the whole thing I still think mostly nothing happened in the grand scheme of Boba’s current story

I was more pointing out how he was able to control his temper when three episodes prior it was show pretty clearly that he can't do that. It's just weirdly inconsistent. Maybe because he was on a job he was more focused? My other issue with him was how he kept flip-flopping between how injured he was during the final fight. When he's first running for cover behind the -tank- technical one of his feet is literally dragging behind him because he got shot in the ankle. And then he could walk just fine the rest of the episode, except for when he needs two people to carry him. It's just odd.

We see him tear through those trandoshan gamblers, and even after being severely injured he's able to stand, and properly aim his blaster rifle. Which isn't even a rifle, it's literally a cannon. The reason he got taken down by the trandoshans so easily is because he got swarmed. If he fought them each one at a time he would have won with minimal effort. But they were coming at him from every direction at once. There's only so much you can do in that scenario.
The stomping scorpio-bots probably didn't put their shields up until they turned that corner because, as part of their treaty, they were traded Boardwalk and didn't have to deploy their defenses until it was "Go" time when they turned the corner.
These are Scorpenecs,anti vehicle destroyer droids. Lot of power,but not very accurate against small targets(although the fact everyone was Prometheus running and then hid behind a stone wall means it should have resulted in death). Also if the droid doesnt move when the shield moves,enough force would cause the shield to smash into the droid causing more problems than just the droid being knocked around
You know what could’ve been pretty cool? If the two really nice and powerful Jedi and that one Jedi’s droid- who, you know, was at that point a two-time war vet- had helped out. Their absence should’ve been like 5 sins, in my opinion. Also, the droids looked awesome but did very little in terms of being formidable opponents... I don’t think a single good guy died in this episode.
Well there's a few things to that: one idk if they even knew a turf war was going on, two it'd be weird for jedi to get involved in a turf war, and three boba was luke's enemy last they met. three point five would be clearly luke was some kind of cold or upset towards grogu (and maybe mando) if he was willing to just let the baby-sized kid travel with only the protection and (lax) care of R2.

I believe Disney is trying to figure out how they’ll present a Teen Grogu or adult Grogu whether CGI or Puppet. It’ll have to look good if the former since fans didn’t like prequel yoda. But we know that his race in Particular is nimble in their prime and lives long so who knows.
There's actually a pretty big thing about this episode that no one seems to have noticed: R2 reuniting with R5-D4 (the red astromech). They actually talked to each other on the sandcrawler in episode 4, and R5's "faulty motivator" was actually him intentionally breaking himself so R2 could stay with 3PO and continue his mission for the rebel alliance. There's a short story on this in the book "A Certain Point of View," which is canon. And this is the first time since then they've seen each other.

He was originally a rebel droid, and when R2 mentioned the rebellion, he remembers, despite the Jawas having wiped his memory multiple times. He doesn't remember the specifics, but he remembers he was in the rebellion. So he might not remember everything, but he probably does remember R2. And his memory wouldn't have had a more thorough wipe by someone who bought him, since he wasn't bought. After the Jawas all got killed by stormtroopers, R5 just kind of left and started wandering the desert. I guess Peli found him at some point during that. And she doesn't strike me as the type to take in a stray droid and then erase their memory. Her pit droids don't even seem have restraining bolts on them.
I love that Boba wants to stop the droids from destroying the city so he goes and gets a monster, but also while his friends are being shot at he decides to stop and refill his missile launcher and pick up his poky stick.... really sells that theres danger or that he cares or whatever
At least Obi-Wan is a show with one director. Something to look forward to. Hopefully that will mean we get 6 good episodes instead of maybe half of the show being alright...

Honestly, I'm angry at this show for what it did to Boba Fett (this show is almost as insulting to this character as just killing him off by accident in Return of the Jedi), but I'm also angry at what it did for Cad Bane. This is such an amazing villain that you can do a lot with and instead they just introduce him, have him talk a bit, and kill him. There is no showing off how clever he really is, how ruthless, etc. Then they decide to act like he and Boba Fett have a mentor/student history, when casual viewers have never seen that they have a history. I've watched the Clone Wars a dozen times and I never saw it, and I only saw references to it in a few pages of comic books. In fact, I don't recall a single scene in that show where they exchanged a line of dialogue. And no, the deleted scene of their duel does not count One of the things that made the Mandalorian a great show was that it brought in these characters from other media but it didn't assume you had seen them in other media unless it was the movies. It introduced them in the show organically because not everyone has seen Clone Wars and Rebels. The show treated these characters as though they were being introduced for the first time so that casual viewers could get attached to them. But suddenly, they've introduced Cad Bane in one episode and the next they're talking about their history like it's common knowledge? Rather than, I don't know, using those flashbacks from earlier to show Boba as a child being influenced by these bounty hunters, maybe show his reaction to when they betrayed him or died. You don't need to show Cad Bane in them, we can see Toto and Aura Singh and other bounty hunters we know Cad Bane hangs around And then he just gets killed after less than 20 minutes of screen time? If Cad Bane had been the main henchman of this series and it's later seasons, that would have been epic

He’s experienced enough. - Why can’t the mechanic (Kelli) act? - The “war” was anticlimactic considering it’s just a small battle. The concept art at the end even shows huge transport ships! - Some merchants were still trying to sell their wares whilst the battle was going on!

In a scraped clone wars episode arc cad bane duels the young boba and knocks boba's helmet off and it's what the dent was caused by leading to the whole let's see if you have armor dialogue
It was really disappointing to see grogu choose the armour. I know established Canon can't have grogu at lukes academy and Disney aren't about to drop the biggest factor for the mandalorians huuuuge success but it would be nice

The latter would be able to arrive sooner, and get their work done faster. Boba doesn't arrive right after the explosion. Based on the shadows it's late afternoon at the end of Ep.6 and morning at the top of Ep.7
I mean the show was a lead up to new things. Episode 5 The Armorer tells a tale of the Mythosuar uniting the tribes. Kinda telling us right there that like in Legends, Boba Fett (a man who wear the mythosaur as a sigil) is going to end up as Mandalore.

Sorry, but Grogu choosing Mando was the obvious choice. He can still use his force abilities, and Mando's the closing thimg to a father and a friend in the kid's life. Sure, as adults we can see the choice differently, but there is no way in seven hells this kid was picking "strict tutor who won't let him eat frogs" over "dad and a life of adventure".

My guess is that the shield is designed the way it is because the vast majority of weapons are energy based rather than kinetic. Just my guess.

Yeah, but the club is still littered with remnants of the interior, with only the guts, fluids and parts of bodies being carefully removed. That's not how a crowded room would look after explosion, unless we are talking about a Disney show for kids.

The latter would be able to arrive sooner, and get their work done faster. Boba doesn't arrive right after the explosion. Based on the shadows it's late afternoon at the end of Ep.6 and morning at the top of Ep.7
I mean the show was a lead up to new things. Episode 5 The Armorer tells a tale of the Mythosuar uniting the tribes. Kinda telling us right there that like in Legends, Boba Fett (a man who wear the mythosaur as a sigil) is going to end up as Mandalore.

Sorry, but Grogu choosing Mando was the obvious choice. He can still use his force abilities, and Mando's the closing thimg to a father and a friend in the kid's life. Sure, as adults we can see the choice differently, but there is no way in seven hells this kid was picking "strict tutor who won't let him eat frogs" over "dad and a life of adventure".
