- We continue sinning Book of Boba Fett... at least I think that's what this show is... honestly, I'm kind of confused right now. Here's everything we found wrong with "The Mandalorian" season 2.5, episode 1, "Return of the Mandalorian".

I'm kind of surprised there was no sin for a bounty hunter obtaining a ship with only one seat and zero cargo space. Even if he's decided to make the head-in-a-sack thing a regular occurrence...where's he storing them?
Maybe he'll pull a Bossk and get a bigger ship with a weird mini-hanger bay?
He probably won't be bounty hunting again until he's a mandalorian again
@@tez.3508 Bounty Hunting is usually considered dishonorable busy work for Mandalorians. I'm surprised the Armourer doesn't give him a hard time about it.

5:50 Fun (?) fact, this droid is the same model droid (a BD Unit) as the one that assists the main character in Jedi: Fallen Order. So, this is actually more of a "you'd need to see a different entry in the franchise, *which is presented in a different medium*, for it to have the exact emotional effect that the creative team seems to be going for" sin.

Except you didn't show the part where he injured himself, proving that it didn't work.
That and the fact that the non-Jedi could bring literally anything to a gunfight because his armour makes guns completely ineffective against him. He could glare angrily at the enemy until they die of old age and still "win" that gunfight.
@@cyqry And the fact that Jedi are not the only people who can wield a lightsaber, the just invented them and are associated with them. I mean the Darksaber was literally introduced with an Imperial Moff using it! And Mando is skilled in melee combat anyway due to him being a bloody Mandalorian, sorry but that "sin" was just not thought through at all🙄
@@Mewithabeard Actually, the Darksaber was officially introduced in the series back in 2008's Star Wars The Clone Wars.

Seriously, I was expecting a sin off for someone finally showing a person injuring themself with a lightsaber.
You mixed up the order of events. The prophecy said if mandalorians followed a darksaber wielder who didn't follow the rules, Mandalore would be laid to waste. Bo-Katan was given it as a gift by Sabine in Rebels (e.g. not following the rules since she didn't win it in battle or kill Darth Maul, the previous owner), and then Mandalore was nuked. By their logic, she was a false claimant so never deserved to wield it in the first place, hence why Mando cannot just give it to her in the Mandalorian
By your logic, Maul should be the one to lead Mandalore and he was killed by Kenobi in Rebels.
Maul isn't a Mandalorian
Maul did rule Mandalore. Bo-Katan opposed him because *plot needs to go forward have a change of heart*. But then Palpatine defeated and took Maul prisoner.
Whatever, it’s more confusing and debatable than Game Of Thrones’ ending.

@@fernandolaracereceda6440 What I'm saying is that it could be argued that Maul at least followed the rules of ownership by killing Pre Vizsla while Bo-Katan did not. The fact that the Armorer is most likely a Maul supporter only further supports this theory.

That's the idea. Sure, blades can't physically talk for obvious reasons, but the "talking" they do is showing how one wields them in battle. Such a thing can tell your opponent or an observer a lot about you, such as if you're unfocused or an amateur or even a master swordsman. Mando was focused on thinking about Grogu, so that causes him to become unfocused during that sparring scene.
4:58 Lightsabers are powered by kyber crystals which are themselves implied to be somewhat force sensitive, so, yes, the blade can talk, from a certain point of view. Red kyber crystals have been corrupted by the dark side; blue, green, yellow, and purple are all natural colors; white means corrupted crystals that were cleansed. We do not know what the deal is with black.
Except that's Disney bullcrap and one of the stupidest things they introduced to the franchise.

@@RylanStorm That was in Legends too. The process of picking a lightsaber crystal was always a trippy semi sentient one and it has always been implied that non-Jedi have a hard time wielding lightsabers.
Except, if you go back before Disney days, the problem non-Jedis had wielding a lightsaber was simply the mechanical issue of the blade having no weight.
For the majority of the existence of the Star Wars franchise, lightsaber crystals were merely an organic crystal and the reason that Sith blades were red is because the Jedi controlled all the worlds where crystals grew. As a result they were forced to use synthetic crystals.
Sentient crystals that pick the Jedi, whilst now canon, is a stupid idea.
I laughed at the scene of Mando falling off the ledge. It's just so abrupt.
This episode was my second favorite only because the sixth one had Ahsoka, R2, Luke, Grogu, Cad Bane, and the Marshal. But mainly Ahsoka because she's my favorite character and Grogu and R2 because they're always adorable...
I don't know i feel like ahsoka should've appeared on screen

I just don't know how a character of that importance wasn't shown on screen before
But my favourite is Luke Skywalker because for me the identity star wars is him

You sin him for bringing a darksaber to a gun fight and it working and then cut out the part where he literally slices his leg. And then there’s all the bits later when he continues to struggle with it. As if it’s not the point or something.
Also I’m pretty sure the Armorer talking about Mandalore being laid to waste is retrospectively talking about how because Bo-Katan didn’t win the blade in combat that it is believed she cursed them to lose Mandalore (explaining why Bo-Katan would refuse now to take the blade by any other means, something everyone complained about at the end of s2).
I wish there had been a sin removed for him slicing his leg open during a fight for being the most relatable thing to happen in a Star Wars fight ever lol.
I mean you are not wrong about the series barely having Boba.

Due to a lack of Boba, this was the first episode that didn't result in my exhaust manifold activating my evacuation port.
Audio outtakes were god tier this episode lmfao
Sigh… This is a tough call. Yes, we all know he has a job to do sinning the video, HOWEVER, judging by the majority of fans, there is nothing wrong with this episode… I say we let the host slide this time, but if he sins Episode 6, either we put a bounty on him or toss him to the Sarlaac…

4:50 Also, chain mail takes a really long goddamn time to forge and weave together. The implication that Mando could just pop a squat and stare off into space for a bit, and suddenly an entire (even tiny) chain mail shirt has been made is totally sinworthy. That should have taken days at a minimum.

You missed one- after the TSA takes “all” his weapons, he still gets on with the missle on his back.

The gap in the ring is to simulate day/night cycles. It's a structure from the classic sci-fi story Ringworld, and it's essentially like if a planet was a big strip going all the way around a star, with an inner ring of panels with evenly spaced gaps so it feels like actually living on a planet.
Yeah it's not a gap in the RING, it's an entirely different structure orbiting inside the circumference of the ring. Which a few seconds' observation would revealed, but hey, "Thing I don't understand because I can't actually pay attention to the show I'm mocking... DING!" That's pretty much this whole gimmick. At least it's not another "Thing they explained two scenes ago is unexplained.. DING!"
Someone on the writing team (Deneé?) has been making a lot of video game references recently, and I'm here for it.

When did this channel decide to move away from semi-seriously poking fun at bad storytelling, clichés and tropes, to instead turn to 50% grandpa jokes, 50% irrelevant cultural references, and 50% deliberate misunderstandings? And yes, I'm not no good at math neither.
Could be many reasons mate, one could be just too rile up people just like yourself. I wouldn't look into it too much

I don’t care HOW fast it is and how much work they put into it, the new ship would be like trying to vanlife in a compact car. The Razor Crest was his HOME. It had room for prisoners, weapons, a bed - and a frickin toilet for crying out loud! Do you just not do any of that in this new ship?

@@aidanjarvis4308 Mando walking on over to TBOBF to lend an armored hand doesn't exactly require him getting two full spotlight episodes. Just like when Boba showed up in TM he didn't have a couple of establishing episodes to catch us up on his deal.

The unfortunate truth about BOBF is that enjoyment of the show is inversely proportional to the screen time of the main plot.

If Star Wars happened "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" and Dune takes place in the distant future, they could definitely be in the same universe, even if they never interact with one another......

The sound mixing on this show was overall terrible. I can't remember exactly but in episode 1 there were a few mixing choices that were jarring. The Wookie sounded like a growling dog, not at all what they usually sound like and it actually ruined that scene for me entirely. I get him having maybe a deeper voice than any other Wookie we've seen but this was a different sound entirely. So the ship was more of the same. Sound mixing has never bothered me in anything else ever.

I think "rule of cool" outweighs elevator etiquette when a dude in full Mandalorian armor gets on. Everyone would take an admiring glance at that, manners notwithstanding.
I like the fact that you sin exposition/story telling context in the scene with the other Mandos then in the next scene sin it for no context when the armourer is making the grogu shirt. Make up your mind.
You also sin filler. Even tho most of your video is filler
