PS: ich habe angefangen selber Zuschnitzen, aber mein Holz ist nicht so optimal, hast du da irgendwelche Tipps?

Hauptsächlich verwende ich Zirbe. Um so harziger desto besser ist es schnitzbar.
Linde ist auch ein gutes Schnitzholz, ist aber schwerer. Und ist auch schwerer (Zeit aufwändiger) schnitzbar, aber bei Linde kann auch quer zur Maserung gut geschnitzt werden.
Niemals Fichte verwenden! Ist zu weich.

Mostly I use pinus zembra (Zirbe, Stone pine), it grows here in the alps where I live.

The best carving tools are Pfeil, Stubai, Kirschen and Dastra. I use mostly Stubai tools, because they are produced here in Austria where I live. I bought it through an self-employed woodcarver, because companies can buy it directly from the production line (costs less).

Aktuell gar nicht.
Ich behalte aktuell die meisten Werke für Ausstellungen und als Geldanlage bis mein Kedit fürs Haus und Werkstatt beginnt. In ca. ein oder zwei Jahren werde ich vermutlich anfangen Werke über "willhaben" zu verkaufen.
