It was so weird to me that the new Goodra wasn’t bug type. I saw it and was sure they finally gave us a cool interpretation of the Dragon Bug combination

If the water type Goomy fully evolved into Goodra (or whatever it would be called), its dex entry would be something like this: Sailors often see this pokémon as a benevolent force, as they are known to hunt down and fight off Tentacruel swarms single-handedly. They can absorb the toxins from their prey to acts as a defense against predators
I think I might like the bug version best, now that I think about it (close second is fairy). I can imagine a goomy and a parasite forming a symbiotic relationship, and I kinda love that. I also have an unhealthy interest in parasites
Just when I thought I couldn't love Goomy any more, and now I have 17 more reasons to 😁 These are absolutely fantastic concepts, especially the Water type one! Honorable mentions go to Fairy, Ice, Ground and Grass
Yeah, sea angels are so beautiful with the way they shoot tentacles out of their mouths that rip snails right out of their shells, and swallows them whole. So majestic.
They're not really horns, it's what they use to smell, kinda like if you were to have outside-turned nostrils, they mostly use smell cause their eyes are of barely use so there's that. It's really funny to see them when they're try to find eachother to procreate, seeing how they can sometimes struggle to meet eachother since they basically just follow eachother's trails and that can lead them to just going around in circles following eachother at the same time, which is just priceless- Honestly most of their hunting is basically going around until something happens to get near it's mouth LOL but since a lot of creatures down there aren't really all that better it works. Also when you look at the underside of their face they have these moustache-like things that they use to grab their food to their mouth. Noodibranchs are just my absolute favourite thing 💞💞💞💞:') Also honestly one wouldn't have to base a Poison goomy on a different species to make it work since Noodibranchs are already poisonous in of themselves but I guess it still works. Sorry for the nerding out lol
The Ground-Type Goomy also reminded me of a red egg crab. They also very much look like pancakes in their juvenile state, with the adults looking like... slightly overcooked pancakes. XD
I already knew the bug type concept for Goomy as a parasite, it looks like caterpillars to attract birds attention and get eaten to spread itself and infect more slugs and snails when the bird poops over leaves And I've seen it while I was eating with no issues Idk why people cannot deal with gross things while eating, maybe I'm just a weirdo who's not affected by these things
You can live knowing that you are not the only person that's absolutely adores this little blob. I know you are not supposed to have a favorite child but goomy is my favorite child.

All those fakemon Goomy where awesome and adorable. And pronouncing Latin names are not easy, so I feel you did good announcing them. The flying and ice Goomy are my absolute favorites.

the water type Goomy is alredy inspired in one of the most dangerous animals in the sea, with his poison it could kill a human. So maybe the final evolution could be water-poison instead of water dragon.
I like the designs of the rock,flying & water variants the most. I would add some glowing elements to the psychic & electric variants to better represent the creatures they're based on... & it would look really cool. However, I would have to say that the grass & ice Goomys were my favorite. Their concepts were just TOO good! 👏😍🤩👍
Dude when u mentioned assasin snails for a goomy i got so excited cause i own and care for several (theyre so good at pest control that i have to breed pest snails for them lol) and the use of pest control for farmers make me so happy
You know that expression, "You give them an inch and they take a mile?" Anyways, how about a follow up video with the Sliggoo and Goodra of each variant?
Funnily enough the form for the water variant would've made a lot more sense for the poison type when we take into consideration the fact that Sea Dragons are HORRIFICALLY toxic, and that they eat Portuguese Man-o-War.
For the grass Gumi( if thats spelled correctly), there is actually a snail that can use photosynthesis like a real plant. Look it up if you don’t believe me.
All of these are really cool and cute! Also for a funny image I had, I can't help but think of the Normal Goomy fallowing large pokemon around and annoying them. If anybody asks, that was a family guy referance.
