Perfect timing TJ! Just spent the afternoon putting away all the summer fishing stuff and digging out the ice gear. Always enjoy these types of videos.
Agreed. I have rewatched your snowmobile setup video a couple times recently as I’m hoping to pickup a new sled soon. Still happy with all your mods? Anything you would change?
@@adhall777 not yet! I didn’t get to give it through as a run through with the lack of ice and snow last year, so hoping I can put it through the wringer this year!
Super jacked for ice season but still in boat mode! Fall weather has been amazing here! Thanks for the video TJ and totally taping my floor together now! Efficiency is the key!
Hey TJ, REALLY GREAT VIDEO. I really liked watching that. Your explanations of the equipment and orientation of everything was really great. It's the first ice fishing video of the season for me and now I really want to go and do it, but I can't bcuz we have no ice. You're a really great fisherman and videographer. That was a first class job man! 👍🎣🇺🇸
Awesome, great video and nice set up! Patiently waiting for some safe ice here in Northern BC binge watching ice fishing videos to keep me sane until then.
I’m getting my new flip over this week. I will also be getting those lights. I want something that is not going to take up a lot of room with cords, and batteries. And if one or all die I can charge them in my shack. Cool thank you 🤟🤟
You bet! Can’t wait! I tried a set of those as well! My cord broke where it goes into the light on both lights unfortunately, so just be gentle with them!
Great vid... nice setup... It's too bad you didn't get that pike... lol... We started ice fishing Nov.1 in my neck of the woods... big brookies and rainbows have been on a feed fest... lol... Good luck this ice season... looking forward to seeing your vids... stay safe out there... From my slightly melted, lob-sided, overtaxed igloo on the mountain in grande cache alberta Canada 🇨🇦 D.
Enjoy your videos learn tips to use in my ice fishing set up. Foam mats are a great idea. Good dry floor plus good insulation. What tape do you use to tie them together? Great idea.
Nice walleyes! Very cool setup, looks comfortable. I stick with more of a minimalistic setup myself. I dont have a snowmobile so I need to consider how much weight I load into the sled. Good stuff!
@tjsguideservice I bring as much as I can, everything is a luxury. I just need to remember I am the one pulling the sled lol. If we don't get too much I can go a lot further with a lot more. Deeper snow, I stick closer to the access point and bring fewer items. It's weather depending. I am lucky to have dozens of fishing spots where I don't need to walk far
Just letting you know. The link for the Amped 48ah battery says page not found. Amped doesn't make the 48ah anymore. It has been replaced with a 52ah battery.
@@tjsguideservice The 52ah is the same physical size as the 48ah. Just stuffed more goody in it. I found out at the ice show in Sioux Falls this weekend.
@tjsguideservice is the gpsmap better on battery than like a 106sv ultra 2? I have a 93sv uhd 2 and am thinking of upgrading my screen this year to a 10". I am not sure what one to get. I have a 52ah battery.
I really like the location breakdowns with the fish animations in your videos. Great content thanks!
Appreciate the feedback! I’m a visual learning so I find a lot of value in those! 👊
yah its the absolute best of any of the youtubers in my opinion
@tjsguideservice you should hold your fish closer to the camera to make the fish look way bigger
Heck yeah! Ice season is right around the corner!❤️🎣
Can’t wait!! We need a good freeze soon!
Needed this video!! In serious ice mode now!! Looking forward to about 30 of these this year!! Good action !!
Agreed! Pulled out the snowmobile the other day just to smell the exhaust! 😂
@ Gotta do that!! Lights going on the ATV for me!
Perfect timing TJ! Just spent the afternoon putting away all the summer fishing stuff and digging out the ice gear. Always enjoy these types of videos.
You bet!! I have pretty made the switch now. We just need some cold weather!!

Needs to come soon!

You and me both! Have also been loving the nice fall, but now it’s time! I have another video coming soon showing exactly how I did the floor!
@ awesome! Looking forward to watching it!
Just received two of those lights! I'm looking forward to using them in my Frabill.
Heck yeah! Best of luck!
Nice opening video for ice season!
You bet! Can’t wait! 🤞 for good ice!

@tjsguideservice 👊🎣
You're very welcome my friend
Great stuff as always
Appreciate the comment! 👊

You and me both! You must be getting close up there!
@tjsguideservice The ice is starting to form but just not cold enough yet. Soon though !
Missed the soft water season with health issues. Looking forward to some ice fishing!
Sorry to hear that. Praying things improve, Robert! Bring on the ice!

@ went today couldn’t find the lights. 😞😞
Love those lights! Just ordered 2. Also very interested on how you keep your floor connected
They are great! Making a video this week showing to put the floor together!
Great video! Can't wait for ice!! I bought the Hawg light bar for my Otter flip for 45 bucks. Has a rotary dimmer, which is cool.

@@tjsguideservice well shoot, that's good to know! I ended up buying a new snowmobile, a ski doo expedition. Can't wait to use it ice fishing!!

I was so bummed! Based off the LS it looked around 40” or so! Jealous you guys are already fishing! Stay warm up there! 😉

Thank you! Definitely makes a difference if you have to pull out gear. I go super light early in the season when we can’t get the sleds out yet!

@ absolutely! Be tough to trudge 5 miles in 2 feet of snow 😂 good luck this year! Looking forward to your adventures!
@tjsguideservice thanks, have a great year on ice yourself!
We don’t even have ice in Crosby Ironton Minnesota. It’s like 55°.
Three white lights means, “Good lift.”
How do you film with livescope 11:52 background color gone so were seeing you
I film by recording on the active captain app and they edit out the background!
Hey TJ, quick question. How tall are you and what size of the piscifun bibs and jacket do you have? Looking to get one
I am 5’10”. The size large Piscifun suits fit me, but this one is the Norfin Explorer camo
how much of a better picture do you think the gpsmap 8610 gives you compared to a echomap 93sv? Your screen looks so clear and more detailed.
It is a better picture, but settings do make a big difference as well. Here‘s my settings!

What rod are you using in this video?
The Elliott walleye perca XL and the 2B deadstick!
What size screen is that and how many hours do you get?
This is a gpsmap 8610 and I get 2-3 full days worth of fishing depending on screen brightness with my 48ah amped outdoors battery!
